Who would've guessed? A bottomless commission for DragonHeart07 of Brand New Animal's Michiru. She's a pretty cute character, even if the show is just all right.
Which team would you be on?

On that note, I'll give a quick review/thoughts on the anime.
The animation was fine. I don't think it matched up to the craziness that we saw in Kill La Kill, but it works. It had some interesting moments for its animation.
The music was...ok? To be honest, aside from the main theme I don't really remember any of the tracks.
The English voice acting was pretty good. Though it's interesting...you can tell they're anime voice actors. They just have a certain way of speaking that works, but isn't quite like how real people talk. More so the way they emphasis certain syllables or pronounce names. The inflection on Japanese words and names is really easy to notice. Not a good or bad thing, but hard not to notice after awhile.
The story...works. I'm not gonna go into spoilers here, just generalizations. I remember seeing the trailer and thinking "oh great, another zootopia style drama." But it had some interesting nuance in places, something a certain Disney movie failed at. I think only being 12 episodes long hurt it quite a bit though. They set up an emotionally resonant conflict about the mid point....but it gets swept under the rug and just comes off as really petty. Which leads us to the final episode. Where they try so hard to keep it a mystery that the big bad's reveal only has some shock value. Honestly it made me think, "Oh, I guess they needed a final boss here, so that's where this guy comes from." There is a nice twist included...but I'm not gonna spoil it.
As for the rest of the series...the baseball episode was the best. Lots of good humor, animation was solid, and the concurrent stories worked great together. There was also a throwaway gag line in the final episode that really made me crack up. "Anyone who gives us food is GOD!" And the animation timing on the emphasis of God was perfect.
Overall...I think I'd give a 7 out of 10. Not bad, not amazing. I'm kinda neutral on it. So I'm not gonna recommend it or tell you to avoid it. Your choice if you want to check it out. The main girl is cute. Story works, and it doesn't get uber preachy which is nice.
The anime does feel like its furry baiting though, creating animal creatures with the purpose of trying to pull in a furry audience. It's weird to think that larger companies are making furry anime and movies. And a lot of furries seem to turn off their brains when they think someone is throwing them a bone. Just look at that unnamed girl from the new Ratchet and Clank game. No name or story but plenty of adult images of her. And Pokemon does this too designing critters like Lopunny, Zoroark, Lucario, Braixen, Salazzle, etc. I don't mind having more furry characters, especially well designed ones. But I'm not gonna fall in love with a story just because they're used.

As good as this would be to watch. Looking up the story it doesn't seem to be zootopia like, a cross between anthro's, were's, and a bit of beastars. I have to pass, no way i'm giving money to an org promoting pedophilia with shows like cuties.
I'm not a fan of the furry trend where it's always "X animal group versus Y animal group" where it's an inborn characteristics instead of ideological differences. I tend to lump those together.
I watched it before they started promoting that. So yeah...not gonna be watching it again there. Probably wouldn't watch it a 2nd time anyway.

I can understand that. A lot people do it wrong, even Disney did it wrong with Zootopia, some fanfics do a lot better.
It's also not 'easy' to do because imho you need to look into stuff like intelligence bell curves, papers on impulse control, and crime statistics if you want something other than a cardboard representation at the 'very' least.
If you want to go the whole nine yards you have to also put in signs that there 'are' those that follow the stereotypes and they can't be the 'antagonist/villain' of the story either.

What are you talking about? Zootopia had plenty of nuance. Even if it was about animal characteristics, the focus was really on the stereotypes surrounding them and how they led to the division between different groups of animals seen in the movie. That made perfect sense to me. Maybe you don't care for that sort of storytelling, but that doesn't mean it wasn't done right just because you were expecting something else.
Must be the mask markings. I'm guessing it reminds you of Alopex.
also what is with her lower belly? are those muscles or she wearing "invisible" panties?
