Finally an update of my reference sheet, after some years not updating it, you can see a new little feature on him.
Should I tell again the story of my fursona? Probably yeah, I'm sure many of you haven't read or listened it. I know many of you have read this story so many times:
It was on 1998, I was liking many shows on TV, including Talespin ("Aventureros del Aire" in Spanish), and I wanted to belong to the show someway, to be friends of Baloo, Kit Cloudkicker and company, so I created my own character to imagine I could be in the show.
That year, in the school they took us to the Chapultepec's Zoo, in Mexico City, I was especially excited for bears, but I could see for first time panda bears and I got amazed for how beautiful animal it was, very different to see them in person than just in videos or photographies.
So when I was back home, my original character changed to be a panda, and that's how Paco the Panda was born.
Soon he changed his name to Parinton thanks to a dream I had where I got that name in my head for that panda character and I decided to name him like that because it sounded more original than "Paco". But it's fine, call me Paco, I like that name!
I created many other adventures in my mind out of the Talespin show, with that imaginary panda and his little brother Nemorio. My connection with panda bears was stronger when I discovered the punk rock band "Panda", which turned in my favorite band, not only because the name of it but for their music, until this day I can say it has been an important band in my life.
I even showed my obsession for my music taste, my own characters and my love for pandas to my class mates in middle school and high school, for sure I scared them some way.
But during all this time, I had no idea what was the furry fandom so I couldn't even call Parinton my fursona, it was just the toony animal character who was representing myself.
It was not until 2008 at a Devmeet (a meeting from Deviantart users, back on the second half of 2000's those were very common in many parts of the world) when some guys were checking my portfolio, and one of them asked me if I was a furry. Well, it happened that those guys were furries and they were surprised I had no idea about the fandom and they introduced me. Everything they were telling me about this community was matching completely with me. And here I am! 12 years later of have discovered the fandom, and 22 years later of have created my panda character, more than the half of my life having that oreo bear with me.

Now Parinton has a tail :3 very cute Panda as before 🐼
And still after all this time, you look awesome. And now others can draw you exactly as you are.
You are very adorable and sweet (even irl when I had a chance to meet you at TFF this year), and your story is wonderful. I was also a fan of Talespin growing up. Don Karnage is still one of my favourite villains to watch. Thank you for sharing your story and your amazing artistic talent with everybody!
Awrfff I'm glad I got to see you at TFF n__n
It was a great convention, I'm sure we're very lucky to have attended to a con this year.

That is beautiful I can actually relate to you one the how TaleSpin thing. At my dentist office they have a play room with a TV and I saw Zootopia for the first time. I didn't see the whole movie but a character that really stood out to me was Nick Wilde. I fell in love with him at first sight. I then decide to start imagining that I moved to Zootopia then I saw the whole movie twice the first time I had watched after getting the book for Christmas. It was after the tenth time I watched it that I recreated the whole movie in my head with me in it with my rl name. Then while looking for a Nick Wilde costume online I found Kristofur sadly he passed away last year. And I started to look up animal costumes and found more Fursuiters and that's when I decided to join the Furry Fandom but I was going to have a Nick Wilde Fursuit but after talking about copyright with my Mom I decided to make my own Fursona. I based him off of Nick Wilde because that's my favorite character and then early morning after staying up all night on St. Patrick's Day 2019 I made my Fursona FireBall.Fox and since then he has become a huge part of my life. I'm glad you share you're art with us and glad to have you here. Thank you for all the happiness you bring Paco. 🦊🐾
Your story is awesome. Now it is with Zootopia then :D
That's the new generation of furries creator. And that's awesome because it was a really good movie.
I'm sorry for Kristofur, I got to meet him once u_u

Oh my. I didn't know that but thank you so much I appreciate that. 🦊🐾
Cutest panda as always, now with a nice stubby tail borrowed from a rabbit! Lovely new reference sheet.
Congratulations! You have earned your tail. =^.^=
PS: We still have our morning tea in the two mugs you made for us 100 years ago.

Yeah, probably those are very old!

Es genial escuchar tu historia Paco. De hecho hubiera sido interesante escuchar la anécdota de tu escuela, y como se enteraron de tu obsesión con los pandas xd
Love your reference sheet. A belated welcome to the fandom. TailSpin was great. And I like the tail.
That is a very interesting origin story. And after all these years, Parinton remains the cutest and cuddliest panda ever! Even with the added tail. Keep up the good work!
Paco you have a wonderful fursona and it's well worth the wait for this reference. It's lovely to read your story. I think my Journey started with Gummi bears, Tale spin and Teddy Ruxpin. There were so many times I wanted to immerse myself into their worlds and be a part of their adventures. For me your drawings and characters remind me of my childhood desire to experience something wonderous and exciting.
The detail you put into your character is lovely. His tail is a nice touch and adds well to the rest of his cuteness. His innocent eyes, those nice sized ears, the soft furriness of his body (very tempting to hug), that infectious smile and even those paw pads that would be soft touch for holding hands as well as giving giving nice high fives.
You have loveable and adorable character Paco. It's always a pleasure to view your work and to keep alive those childhood desires that lives in all of us (excitement, adventure, happiness and friendships that last a life time). Thank you so much Paco.

I hope one day if I get a Fursona, he gets a chance to meet yours.

To be honest, I've been thinking about that for a very long time. In those shows, I always saw myself as a human being immersed in those worlds and having the characters fuss over me because of that. However, over time I've always had a thing for fox characters. So I would always say the Fox is my first choice out of many.🦊
Foxes are lovely, one of my favorite animals, hehe n__n
That's an excellent choice!

I am glad to have known you and hope to continue to be friends, even if only over this textual medium and even if only every now and again. I am glad you have updated your reference sheet with a tail, and glad that you are happy with it. <3
I have to whrite it, or it´s going to kill me.
Cute that he now has a tail. Next thing you should add is a neck.

Hehe thank you!
And nop, he's very happy without a neck n_n
A neck would make him look very human-ish
