Artist: deriaz
A few years ago I found someone literally using Cad's design in a Tumblr RP. They were were using my commissioned art of Cad as their reference for what their OC looked like. I sent a message to them literally saying "Not asking you to do anything, just saying Hi. :3". They never responded. Then a few months ago I rediscovered that same Tumblr. Now they did stop using my commissioned artwork. But instead the reference art for their character was deeply inspired by Cad. To the point that they copied the exact same wings, and design and placement of stripes from a previous Cad design.
In that reference art they had their Mewtwo slamming the door open with a furious expression on his face. I thought, why not copy that idea and do it with the real Cad? No malice here, simply a fun elbow nudge in return.
But I needed to correct two things; in their art they forgot the size and anger that the real Cad has. Deriaz made sure to capture that.
