This is my second round VOCT 2 entry! I was very lucky to have such a skilled opponent this round, and I hope my story satisfies him as much as I'm sure his will me! Just before the second round, a startling revelation is made about the nature of the logout glitch, and then an egocentric hacker tries to sabotage Neko's match. It is now Lucas's turn to shine in an all out hacker duel to restore balance and save Neko before Sapphire eats him first!

The frog is something I came up with, but as an extension of Source, he is based on the works of  sapphireamoerlevad.
The fox and skunk from the RL world are generic characters I just threw in the story to say the lines and act out the scene. They are extras. What? Lines don't say themselves... Also, I like the sound of the word "Anchorfox."
Random crowds are random, but there are only the other players there, along with the mods, so they are copyright whoever you think they are. One of them could even be you! I'll update this list if I've forgotten anyone. Also, this story might be updated as I continue proofreading it. I may or may not mention when I update it, but it must be completed tonight, so... Meow!

EDIT 5/11/10 - Upon closer inspection, it appears the deadline was not last night, but rather tonight. With that in mind, I was able to add an animation for Matto's card ability, at the suggestion of  sapphireamoerlevad. Anything to increase his enjoyment of this story is a good addition, and I liked the way he described to me the card effects in the SaGa Frontier game he mentioned.
