Eternia is home to all sorts of creatures. Most of them are normal animals like horses, dogs and birds but there are also mythical and legendary creatures like griffins and unicorns. Many of them can be tamed by hunters and druids, who act as companions. All creatures of Eternia have a strong connection to Wild Magic and almost all of them are loyal to the Wild Master. Darren has befriended many creatures and they have become strong allies for him and friends in their battles against the darkness.(Inspired by World of Warcraft and Chronicles of Narnia)
Here is a list of all the creatures in Eternia:
1) Horses: Equine mammals who act as racial mounts for humans. They are different breeds of horses throughout Eternia. Horses are known for their steadiness and speed, making them great beasts of burden. There are also wild horses who roam free in the plains.
2) Dogs: Domesticated canines that are kept as pets for humans. There are different breeds of dogs throughout Eternia. Beagles and hounds act as hunting dogs, sheepdogs help to herd flocks and herds while huge mastiffs and retrivers act as guard dogs.
3) Cats: Domesticated felines also kept as pets. Like dogs, there are different breeds of cats throughout Eternia. All cats are useful in keeping out rats and mice out of homes and are a favourite for royal families.
4) Chickens: Domesticated birds reared for their eggs and meat for humans.
5) Sheep: Domesticated, docile creatures reared for their wool and meat for humans.
7) Pigs: Domesticated mammals reared for their meat. They are known for their lazy, fat appearance and love to wallow in mud.

10) Birds: There are many different species of birds throughout Eternia. All birds have feathers and lay eggs and most of them are capable of flying. Finches, robins, bluebirds and nightingales are known for their sweet songs, pigeons and falcons are sometimes used to bring messages to neighboring kingdoms and peacocks are famous for their beautiful tail feathers.
11) Crows: A species of black feathered birds who are known for their cunning and their high-pitched caws. They are often regarded as an ill omen due to their appearence. However, they have known to have great knowledge over the animal kingdom.
12) Deer: Harmless and docile mammals who live in herds in woodlands and forests. The largest species of deer are known as moose. Stags or male deer, are known for their magnificent antlers and are a famous prize for hunters. Nevertheless, deer can be skilled fighters if they are threatened. Night Elves are known to ride stags into battle and moose are the racial mount for Highmountain Tauren.

14) Boars: A species of wild pig that live in woodlands or plains. All boars are strong creaturs and have tusks to dig for roots or bugs. Orcs are known to hunt boars for their meat.
15) Zebras: A species of wild horse who are known for their famous black and white stripes and live in grasslands or savannas. Like horses, they live in herds and are strict grazers. They are also known for their kicks to fend of predators.
16) Rams: A species of wild sheep that live in herds in mountains. All male rams have long, curved horns for butting rivals for mates. Rams are skilled in climbing climbs and leaping on ledges. They are the racial mounts for the dwarves.
17) Giraffes: Hebivorous mammals that live in herds in grasslands or savannas. All giraffes have long necks to reach for tree leaves and long legs to escape predators.
18) Rabbits: Small, flurry mammals with long ears who live in woodlands and plains. There are different species of rabbits but all of them are known for their speed in escaping predators. Humans have known to keep them as pets or view them as pests for ruining their crops.
19) Squirrels: Small, furry rodents with long, furry tails that dwell in woodlands. They are excellent climbers and are fond of nuts.
20) Mice: Small rodents that are found throughout nearly all of Eternia. They are commonly found in human settlements and are known for stealing scraps from kitchens, making them common household pests. Some humans also known to keep mice as pets.'

24) Raccoons: Small mammals that dwell in woodlands. They are known for their cunning by stealing food from human settlements and their mask-like markings on their faces. Humans also regard them as pets.
25) Ferrets: Small mammals that dwell in woodlands. Like raccoons, they are also cunning and are regarded as pests for stealing chickens. Nevertheless, they make excellent pets for humans, particularly mages.
26) Foxes: Small predatory wild canines that are found nearly all of Eternia. All foxes are known for their cunning and hunting skills. Humans regard them as pests as they are known for stealing chickens.
27) Eagles: Large birds of prey that live in mountains. They are regarded as the king of birds and are symbol of nobility. Eagles are known for being strong flyers and their excellent eyesight. Hunters have been known to tame eagles as companions. Giant eagles are one of the largest birds in Eternia and are the racial flying mounts by the Highmountain Tauren.
28) Owls: Nocturnal birds of prey that live in woodland. All owls have broad faces and large, forward-facing eyes. They are known for their silent flight, excellent night vision and their great wisdom. Night elves are known to keep owls as pets.

Many humans fear wolves, believing them as agents of darkness. However, orcs, night elves and tauren respect them as noble creatures of nature. Dire wolves are a species of giant wolves, the size of horses and are the racial mount of the orcs. Frost wolves are arctic wolves and are known for their strong kinship with the Frostwolf orc clan.

34) Panthers: A species of big cats with black fur, specifically leopards. They are solitary creatures that live in jungles and are known for being stealthy, agile hunters.
35) Cheetahs: Slim and athletic big cats with spotted fur. They have long skinny legs and tails and live in open grasslands or savannas. They are famous for their speed, capable of running long distances.
36) Bears: Huge, furry, bulky mammals that live in woodlands, mountains and tundras. All bears are incredibly strong and excellent in catching fish. Bears are also fond of honey. There are different species of bear in Eternia. Brown and black bears live in woodlands while the large, predatory polar bears live in the snowy tundras. Dwarves are known to keep bears as pets and hunting companions.
37) Crocodiles: Huge, amphibious reptiles that dwell in swamps, marshes and jungles. All crocodiles have long jaws with sharp teeth. They are excellent ambush predators in the water and great swimmers.
38) Serpents/snakes: Species of limbless reptiles that live in deserts, jungles, marshes and forests. They come in different sizes, from the harmless grass snakes to the huge pythons and boas. Dire cobras are large, venomous snakes who have huge hoods and venomous fangs. They are the racial mount of the naga. Serpents have been a symbol of fear for humans, making them a feared species.
39) Saber cats: A species of saber-tooth big cats, the size of horses that live in mountains, woodlands and plains. They are incredibly strong and agile hunters and are the racial mounts of the night elves and the bastians.
40) Rhinos: Huge, grey, herbivorous mammals who live in grasslands. All rhinos have horns on their noses and have poor eyesight. However, they have excellent hearing and sense of smell. They are also fast runners and are known to charge at anything they deem as a threat.
41) Hippos: Huge, grey, herbivorous mammals that dwell in marshes, jungles or grasslands. All hippos are known for their huge jaws and large mouths. Despite their fat, lazy appearance, they are excellent swimmers, fast runners and fierce fighters when they feel threatened.
42) Elekk: Huge, grey, elephant-like beasts who live in herds in grasslands and jungles. Like elephants, all elekk have long noses called trunks and long, sharp tusks. Despite their large appearance, they are peaceful and gentle herbivores. Nevertheless, they are incredibly strong fighters if they are threatened. They are the racial mount of the draenai.
43) Gorillas: Huge, strong primates that live in the jungles of Eternia. They live in family troops,led by a dominant male. When threatened, they will pound their chests with their palms and hoot loudly. Despite their huge appearance, they are gentle herbivores who love to eat fruits.
44) Rats: Small, scavenging rodents that are slightly larger than mice. They tend to live in human settlements, particularly rubbish heaps. They are infamous for spreading diseases, making them a major pests for humans. They are also the one creature Darren dislikes.
45) Hyenas: Huge, predatory mammals that live in grasslands or savannas. They live in clans and are known for their bone-chilling laughter. Hyenas are skilled hunters but also infamous scavengers. As a result, many humans fear them, viewing them as demons rather than animals.
46) Bats: Flying, nocturnal mammals who live in woodlands and jungles. They dwell in caves and live in colonies. All bats have excellent hearing and use echolocation to navigate at night. Most bats are feed on insects or fruit and are no larger than a small bird. However, there are also dire bats, a species of giant bats who are known scavengers or predators. As a results, many humans fear them, viewing them as messengers for demons. They are the racial flying mount for jungle trolls.
47) Fishes: They are many different species of fish in Eternia. All fishes live and breathe in water. They can be found in rivers, lakes and oceans. They are a delicacy for humans and demihumans. Rays are fish with flattened bodies and long tails with stingers, moray eels are long fish and fierce predators.
48) Sharks: Species of large, predatory fish that dwell in oceans. All sharks are excellent swimmers and skilled ambush predators that feed on fish and other marine creatures. Merfolk have been known to tame and ride sharks.
49) Dolphins: Marine mammals who live in oceans. All dolphins live in pods and are skilled hunters. They use echolocation to find food or navigate and use a variety of clicks and whistles to communicate. They are famous for their acrobatic leaps and are a favorite pet among merfolk.
50) Sea lions/seals: Marine mammals who dwell in shores. Both seals and sea lions live in pods and are excellent swimmers and hunters. Sea lions are slightly bigger and more athletic than seals. Like dolphins, they are a favorite pet among merfolk.
51) Orcas: Also known as killer whales. They are large, predatory marine mammals who live in pod in oceans. Like dolphins, they use echolocation and are skilled pack hunters like wolves. Merfolk have been known to tame and ride orcas.
52) Whales: Species of large marine mammals. They are different species of whale living in Eternia. Humpback whales are famous for their songs, sperm whales are excellent divers and blue whales are the biggest species of whales. Merfolk use whales as mounts or marine beasts of burden.
53) Octopus: Species of mollusc, known for their long tenticles and their ability to squirt ink to escape predators. They are considered a delicacy to humans and demi-humans.
54) Crabs: Marine crustaceans that live near shorelines or deep oceans. All crabs are known for their hard shells and strong pincers. Merfolk have tamed giant crabs to act as hunting companions or underwater guard dogs
55) Unicorns: Beautiful magical creatures that resemble white horses with a single on their horn on their foreheads. They dwell in forests and are close allies with fairies. They are a symbol of purity and their horns possess magical healing powers that heal and remove corruption. However, they are also a target for hunters, making them extremely rare.
56) Pegasi: Beautiful magical winged horses that live in forests. They are a symbol of nobility and are gentle creatures. They are close allies with fairies and unicorns. Unicorns and pegasi are known to mate, creating alicorns. Pegasi are the racial flying mounts for humans.
57) Gryphons: Powerful and intelligent winged creatures that are part eagle-part lion and live in mountains and forests. They are one of the most majestic creatures in the skies and are the racial flying mount of the dwarves. Like eagles, they have exceptional eyesight and like lions, they are known for their ferocity in defending their territories.
58) Hippogryphs: Powerful, magical and intelligent winged creatures that are part raven-part stag and live in forests. Like gryphons, they are territorial and are the racial flying mounts of the night elves. They are friendly and playful to their allies but fearsome and terrifying to their enemies.
59) Wyverns: Powerful, sentient creatures that live in mountains, plains and forests. They are only two species of wyverns; the mammalian wyverns that resemble wolfish-lions with bat wings and scorpion tails and the reptilian wyverns that resemble small dragons. The mammalian wyverns are noble creatures and are the racial flying mounts of the tauren and orcs. The reptilian wyverns are cruel and wicked beasts and are the racial flying mounts of the Forsaken undead. All wyverns are known for their strong survival skills and their ability to live in the most extreme environments.
60) Dinosaurs: Species of gigantic, prehistoric reptiles that live in jungles. Dinosaurs are some of the most powerful and dangerous creatures on Eternia. However, they are extinct in nearly all of Eternia. Now, they are mostly found in the lost land of Zandalar and are the racial mounts of the Zandalari trolls.
61) Mammoths: Huge, shaggy prehistoric elephants that live in tundras. Like elephants, they have long trunks and massive, curved tusks. Humans use them as beasts of burden in northern lands.
62) Kodos: Huge, herbivorous reptiles that live in prairies and most have a horn on their noses. Kodo are gentle, peaceful creatures but can turn aggressive and violent if provoked or threatened. They are the racial mounts of the tauren and are used as beasts of burden.
63) Saber tusks: Large, predatory reptiles that live in packs in jungles. They are a cross between a big cat and a dinosaur. They are the racial mount of the jungle trolls.
64) Hydras: Huge, ferocious reptiles that live in swamps and oceans. All hydras have multiple heads and can regenerate if one is cut off. They are known for their wickedness and savagery so they are a favorite pet and the racial mount for demons.
65) Rocs: Enormous, monstrous birds of prey that live in mountains and plains. Like eagles, they have excellent vision and powerful flyers. They are known to snatch elekk to eat.
66) Kraken: A enormous, legendary sea creature that resembles a gigantic octopus. It lives in the deepest depths of the ocean and is considered to be the most powerful of all sea creatures. The merfolk have regarded the kraken as the ocean's protector and guardian while humans view it as a monstrous creature that attacks unsuspecting ships.
67) Skeletal horses: Undead equine creatures that are the racial mount for the Forsaken undead. Unlike regular horses, they are capable of necromancy magic.
68) Hellhounds: Large, demonic dogs that are a favored pet to demons and the Forsaken undead. Like demons, they are ruthless, cruel creatures and have been known to be an ill omen to humans.

70) Phoenix: A gigantic, legendary bird who lives in volcanoes and can control or manipulate fire. The phoenix is also famous for their ability to revive from the ashes and their immortality.
71) Turtles/tortoises: Slow moving reptiles with shells. Tortoises live in woodland, deserts or plains while turtles live in marshes, swamps or oceans. They have been known for their long lifespans and their wisdom. Merfolk are known to keep turtles as pets.
72) Insects: Their are many species of insects living almost all of Eternia. Most insects are smaller than a person's finger and all have multiple limbs. However, some species of insects can grow to an immense size like the giant insects in Zandalar.
73) Spiders: Arachnid creatures who live almost all of Eternia. All spiders have eight legs and most can spin webs. Most spiders are smaller than a person's finger and eat insects but giant spiders can grow to an immense size and have a carnivorous appetite. Spiders are a favorite pet and the Arachnas and the Forsaken undead. Giant spiders are the racial mount of the Arachnas.
74) Scorpions: Arachnid creatures that live almost all of Eternia. All scorpions have ten legs and most have venomous stingers on their tails. Most scorpions are the size of a person's thumb and eat insects and small mammals. However, giant scorpions can grow to the size of horses and are the racial mount for the scorpion-folk.

51) Orcas: Also known as killer whales. They are large, predatory marine mammals who live in pod in oceans. Like dolphins, they use echolocation and are skilled pack hunters like wolves. Merfolk have been known to tame and ride orcas.
52) Whales: Species of large marine mammals. They are different species of whale living in Eternia. Humpback whales are famous for their songs, sperm whales are excellent divers and blue whales are the biggest species of whales. Merfolk use whales as mounts or marine beasts of burden.
53) Octopus: Species of mollusc, known for their long tenticles and their ability to squirt ink to escape predators. They are considered a delicacy to humans and demi-humans.
54) Crabs: Marine crustaceans that live near shorelines or deep oceans. All crabs are known for their hard shells and strong pincers. Merfolk have tamed giant crabs to act as hunting companions or underwater guard dogs
55) Unicorns: Beautiful magical creatures that resemble white horses with a single on their horn on their foreheads. They dwell in forests and are close allies with fairies. They are a symbol of purity and their horns possess magical healing powers that heal and remove corruption. However, they are also a target for hunters, making them extremely rare.
56) Pegasi: Beautiful magical winged horses that live in forests. They are a symbol of nobility and are gentle creatures. They are close allies with fairies and unicorns. Unicorns and pegasi are known to mate, creating alicorns. Pegasi are the racial flying mounts for humans.
57) Gryphons: Powerful and intelligent winged creatures that are part eagle-part lion and live in mountains and forests. They are one of the most majestic creatures in the skies and are the racial flying mount of the dwarves. Like eagles, they have exceptional eyesight and like lions, they are known for their ferocity in defending their territories.
58) Hippogryphs: Powerful, magical and intelligent winged creatures that are part raven-part stag and live in forests. Like gryphons, they are territorial and are the racial flying mounts of the night elves. They are friendly and playful to their allies but fearsome and terrifying to their enemies.
59) Wyverns: Powerful, sentient creatures that live in mountains, plains and forests. They are only two species of wyverns; the mammalian wyverns that resemble wolfish-lions with bat wings and scorpion tails and the reptilian wyverns that resemble small dragons. The mammalian wyverns are noble creatures and are the racial flying mounts of the tauren and orcs. The reptilian wyverns are cruel and wicked beasts and are the racial flying mounts of the Forsaken undead. All wyverns are known for their strong survival skills and their ability to live in the most extreme environments.
60) Dinosaurs: Species of gigantic, prehistoric reptiles that live in jungles. Dinosaurs are some of the most powerful and dangerous creatures on Eternia. However, they are extinct in nearly all of Eternia. Now, they are mostly found in the lost land of Zandalar and are the racial mounts of the Zandalari trolls.
61) Mammoths: Huge, shaggy prehistoric elephants that live in tundras. Like elephants, they have long trunks and massive, curved tusks. Humans use them as beasts of burden in northern lands.
62) Kodos: Huge, herbivorous reptiles that live in prairies and most have a horn on their noses. Kodo are gentle, peaceful creatures but can turn aggressive and violent if provoked or threatened. They are the racial mounts of the tauren and are used as beasts of burden.
63) Saber tusks: Large, predatory reptiles that live in packs in jungles. They are a cross between a big cat and a dinosaur. They are the racial mount of the jungle trolls.
64) Hydras: Huge, ferocious reptiles that live in swamps and oceans. All hydras have multiple heads and can regenerate if one is cut off. They are known for their wickedness and savagery so they are a favorite pet and the racial mount for demons.
65) Rocs: Enormous, monstrous birds of prey that live in mountains and plains. Like eagles, they have excellent vision and powerful flyers. They are known to snatch elekk to eat.
66) Kraken: A enormous, legendary sea creature that resembles a gigantic octopus. It lives in the deepest depths of the ocean and is considered to be the most powerful of all sea creatures. The merfolk have regarded the kraken as the ocean's protector and guardian while humans view it as a monstrous creature that attacks unsuspecting ships.
67) Skeletal horses: Undead equine creatures that are the racial mount for the Forsaken undead. Unlike regular horses, they are capable of necromancy magic.
68) Hellhounds: Large, demonic dogs that are a favored pet to demons and the Forsaken undead. Like demons, they are ruthless, cruel creatures and have been known to be an ill omen to humans.
69) Sea serpents: Large, serpents that live in oceans. They live in packs and are skilled hunters. They are the racial mounts of the merfolk and the moray.
70) Phoenix: A gigantic, legendary bird who lives in volcanoes and can control or manipulate fire. The phoenix is also famous for their ability to revive from the ashes and their immortality.
71) Turtles/tortoises: Slow moving reptiles with shells. Tortoises live in woodland, deserts or plains while turtles live in marshes, swamps or oceans. They have been known for their long lifespans and their wisdom. Merfolk are known to keep turtles as pets.
72) Insects: Their are many species of insects living almost all of Eternia. Most insects are smaller than a person's finger and all have multiple limbs. However, some species of insects can grow to an immense size like the giant insects in Zandalar.
73) Spiders: Arachnid creatures who live almost all of Eternia. All spiders have eight legs and most can spin webs. Most spiders are smaller than a person's finger and eat insects but giant spiders can grow to an immense size and have a carnivorous appetite. Spiders are a favorite pet and the Arachnas and the Forsaken undead. Giant spiders are the racial mount of the Arachnas.
74) Scorpions: Arachnid creatures that live almost all of Eternia. All scorpions have ten legs and most have venomous stingers on their tails. Most scorpions are the size of a person's thumb and eat insects and small mammals. However, giant scorpions can grow to the size of horses and are the racial mount for the scorpion-folk.
