The Last Wild Master
By: jungleboy69
Eternia. A world full of magic, beauty and wonder. It's made up of 6 different continents, but it is home to many different races from all shapes and sizes; Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Centaurs, and of course, Demons.
Each continent is ruled by the 9 human kingdoms of Eternia. Humans and Demi-humans have had a tense and fragile relationship over the years and lived in relative peace. However, the evilest and wicked of the races; the Demons have been hated by all other forms of life.
These demons have been known to cause death and destruction wherever they go, corrupting and tainting the land and the innocent, stealing or raiding their homes. These are only a few of the atrocities they committed...and they rejoiced in it.
Long ago, the demons broke out of the depths of Eternia itself and began a fierce invasion. They were joined by many other evil demi-human races like goblins, ogres and undead. They spread terror and death whenever they went.
The 9 kingdoms united in hopes of combating the demon threat but even they were no match for them. All hope seemed lost until a wanderer known for his travels and close bond with nature came to their aid.
It turned out that the stranger was actually Cenarius the god of the Wild and the Hunt and a Master of Wild Magic; one of the three rare primal magics in all of Eternia. He gave the idea of asking the other demi-human races to help fight against the demons. While, many of the human rulers refused and spoke up against working for those inferior or lesser beings, others were willing to accept.
Cenarius turned out to be a favorite among the demi-human races for his compassion and nobility. Soon, almost every demi-human race joined Cenarius and the human kingdoms to stand against the demon invasion.
The battles were long and hard, but in the end, Cenarius and his allies drove the demons back into Hell and saved Eternia. Cenarius was hailed as a hero to the demi-humans and some of human rulers. However, others were jealous and despised him for his relationship with the demi-humans.
Years have passed and Eternia has been at peace. Sadly, the conflicts between humans and demi-humans have been escalating and even worse, there are rumors that the demons are gathering their forces to invade Eternia once more.
A prophecy states that a warrior would rise to unite the humans and demi-humans once more and destroy the demons for good. Little is known about this warrior or who he is. Unknown to everyone, that hero would come in a form of a young village boy named Darren who was born with a rare disability to use magic.
He could practically be Eternia's only hope.
