a great sequence of my dragoness Raiya i got from Tomek1000 of her luring some adventurers into her lair, posing as a quest-giver and guide, and then revealing her true form once they reach the treasure hoard!
y'see, ancient eternal dragonesses get bored, and smart adventurers stay away rather than try to invade their lairs... so sometimes when you want a pleasant little sparring match, you lure a few in to a seemingly unattended lair, and reveal your true form once they have nowhere to run. but make sure you reward them well for their trouble and send them on their way once you've had your fun, you want them to spread the word after all...
TBH this accompanying story i feel isnt my best work, but it was 3 am by the time i finished it last night and i dont have time to properly edit it this weekend, but i think my tiredness shows in the writing towards the end especially.
at any rate i love this sequence, and this helped me end a fairly bad week on a good note, so thanks again to Tomek1000 for this wonderful sequence! ^w^

A Human Disguise, A Draconic Revelation

The sun was setting on the mountainside as a small group of people clambered along a steep, dangerous trail, working their way towards a large cave opening that was mostly hidden by hanging vines and scraggly pine trees. Three of them were struggling, both with the treacherous terrain and with keeping up with their guide and employer; a beautiful, mysterious woman who introduced herself as Rai back at the local Guild Hall and who was now leading them towards the quest area.
It was a simple enough job though, James thought. Rai had hired his party for a retrieval job, sneaking into a Dragon’s lair while the creature was out, retrieving a few of Rai’s precious heirlooms that the creature was keeping in its hoard, and getting out before the Dragon returned. As an experienced all-rounder, James was confident in his own abilities in both stealth and direct combat, the anthro cat also knowing that he had a distinct natural advantage in climbing with his claws in terms of getting there. The other two he brought with him were experienced adventurers as well, an absolute necessity in order to heist a dragon’s lair and get back out unscathed.
John was a young werewolf he’d met acting as a mercenary caravan guard, who’d switched to adventuring as it was more flexible and fun. A powerful berserker warrior and a natural tracker whose skills were essential in sniffing out certain kinds of curses and traps. Keith was a skilled human Rogue who’d disappeared on a quest with a novice party for a few months last year. But they came back from it a lot richer and a lot happier, and no-one else in the region could match Keith’s talent for stealth and infiltration. He’d also learned some basic healing magic and attack spells recently too which would come in handy if they had to enter combat. Needless to say, they were ready for a little lair-burglary.
Rai on the other hand was a mystery to the party. She was a beautiful human woman who spoke and acted with the regal elegance of a noble, yet treated both the adventurers and commonfolk of the town with dignity, kindness and respect. She appeared out of nowhere to visit the local guild hall and post this quest, leading many to believe she was nobility or royalty in hiding based on both the particulars of the quest and the reward she was offering. And she clearly had skills of her own, almost leaving the small party of adventurers she’d hired in the dust whilst leading them to the dragon’s lair. The three adventurers were a bit wary and curious of the woman, but otherwise they didn’t think of her as a threat.
As they all got to the cave, it became clear that the dragon was out and didn’t keep any servants. There were no signs of Kobolds or Lizardmen camping within, and the only magical signature was coming from traps further in, not from any kind of boss-monster. James noticed Keith squirming a bit, remembering how the man had seemed a bit uncomfortable with the idea of burglarizing a dragon’s lair when asked about this job, but he’d accepted anyways. And he was doing a good job of remaining silent and disarming the traps as they moved along. John was sniffing out the correct paths in the labyrinth of tunnels in the lair, avoiding dead-ends and pointing out traps for Keith whilst keeping his machete ready for any surprises. Meanwhile, James and Rai were quietly talking as they moved, the cat trying to get as much info as possible from the woman since for some reason, she was now a lot more forthcoming with information about the quest, the lair, and especially, the dragon who called this place home…
“the creature living in this cave is a dragoness, and a powerful one…” Rai whispered, barely concealing a smirk from the anthro kitty.
“some say her power rivals that of some of the minor gods, she showed a portion of that power several years ago when she destroyed a bandit camp attacking a village near her old lair. To this day that village is a peaceful place which is now made up of kobolds and other dragon-morphs. Gifts from the dragoness to the former humans who turned to her for help…”
“W-wait, she turned a whole village into her servants!?” Keith interrupted, blushing for some reason as he looked over at Rai with wide eyes.
“Indeed, and the best part is they offered themselves to her willingly, all of them,” Rai continued, confidently striding forward as they entered a grand hall. All traces of trap magic suddenly vanished as the three men put themselves on alert. Something was wrong here, something about Rai was… different.
“the dragoness who resides here right now is a restless one however. Never content to stay in one place for more than a few decades.” She continued, looking over her shoulder at the adventurers as they froze in alarm. Her eyes had darkened, glowing purple irises piercing through the dim cavern.
“and also, sitting in lairs all day, waiting for strong adventurers to arrive and prove their skills and worth to her, looking for those who might make powerful servants. For eternal creatures, waiting is a way of life, but sometimes… sometimes she just wants to stir things up, to make events transpire herself…”
Rai smiled, stopping in front of the hoard of gold that appeared as if from nowhere at the end of the hallway as she began pulling off her dress slowly, revealing growing dark scales on her shoulders and hands. The beginnings of wings emerging from her back as she slowly began to change. The three adventurers fanned out, weapons at the ready as the hallway torches lit themselves and illuminated the transforming woman.
“Oh, and by the way, I should probably mention…” She added, dropping her shirt lower as the rest of her clothing vanished, revealing her growing wings and clawed feet. Her ears growing back on her head into ear fins as two small horns began to poke through her hair.
“…that the dragoness who guards this lair and this treasure hoard…” she continued, grinning widely as her teeth sharpened, her feet growing up into draconic claws as dark scales grew over her arms and body, her face pushing out into a draconic muzzle as a thick tail brushed past the bottom of her dropping dress. Her horns sweeping back over her head as the change swept through her form.
“…Has actually been here with you this entire time!” the dragoness finished with glee as she let the remainder of her human clothing and human disguise leave her wondrous form. Her wings grew out fully, a black membrane blending with the dark grey of her scales which rushed to cover her fully. Black scutes and claws adorned her as spikes grew down her spine to the end of her fully grown tail. Towering above her human form, the dragoness now fully faced the three adventurers she’d hired for amusement, reveling in the surprise as her deception became clear.
“Why did you deceive us and lead us here? Who are you!?” Keith yelled out, visibly sweating and blushing so red that the other two noticed it. Though they were more concerned with getting an answer as well.
“I am Raiya. A dragoness of darkness, punisher of the wicked, and granter of dragonhood.” The dragoness proudly proclaimed, “and you three are here, to entertain me…”
Grinning almost evilly, Raiya’s eyes glowed, levitating some of her treasure over to the adventures as a stone door closed at the far end of the hall. The treasure dropped at their feet. Swords, armor pieces, potions, everything needed for a raid boss battle as the three eyed her with suspicion.
“we are going to have a little spar, for this area is disgustingly peaceful and free of evil to smite. If you three do well, you will leave here with riches, even if you do not do well, you will still leave with my… gifts! Now then, prepare yourselves, adventurers!!”
James and John rushed to equip themselves as the dragoness waited, feeling overwhelmed but knowing that this had to be done. This was a game to her and they were the playpieces, but their pride wouldn’t allow them to just half-ass this. They would fight her with their all, and hope they retained enough of their original forms afterwards that they wouldn’t have to spend too much of her reward on getting changed back.
Keith on the other hand sighed, picking up a pair of daggers and whispering to himself. “I JUST got used to being a human again too, and this is one of the two who brought my own master into being… Raine will be thrilled when I go back to hir and show how hir mistress changes me…”
Resigned to the inevitable loss of humanity he was certain was coming, Keith joined the others, the battle beginning deep in the cave and lasting well into the night… and ending with three dragon-morphs gliding down the side of the mountain the next morning, bags of gold hanging on their gear as they sighed and made their way back to the guild. Turning heads throughout as they posted Raine’s open challenge on the quest board for challengers before retiring to the bar to drink away their frustration at being duped, defeated, and transformed.

Wonder what'd happen if I crossed paths with her? Human me, not Wyr (Yet XD)
she'd awaken what's already deep inside you, bringing Wyraach to the surface, then passionately take you right there and then, leaving any other adventurers she lured in with you to stand there and watch, ignored by the two dragons coupling and powerless to do anything except gtfo, or perhaps... join in <3
Now THAT I'd love ;3 <3
(Wonder how long it'd take to see art of that >_> ;P)
