[Part 02 / 03]
— Is... this... North... Pole? — My voice came out in a hiccuping whimper, because my neck was stretching out at the same time I tried to talk.
— Nay — the friendly tiny man said — You are right about the North, but not the Pole. This is just one of many delivery stations in North America.
— A-are you Santa? — I stuttered and trembled as my body continued to adjust to the changes, one limb at a time. I was unable to stand up nor to stand on my fours, so I remained flopped on the floor, squirming and trying to get up without success.
— Nope — he laughed — I’m Pete, the elf. It’s funny how people think Santa delivers every present himself! Do you know how many people there are in the world?
— W-why am I a-a reindeer? — I kept trying to stand, but fell every time. My body was still itching as the fur covered the rest of my remaining skin, finishing the last touches of my new form.
I looked around, desperate to wake up from that crazy dream. My eyes crossed with other reindeers who glanced back and smiled like I was some kind of interesting event. However, most reindeers weren’t even paying attention to me and seemed to chat calmly with one another, as if there was nothing weird about a half-human half-deer suddenly materializing there.
— Stop squirming, girl. It’s embarrassing to watch — he said, calmly — Just relax and wait a few more seconds until you can stand on your fours.
A few reindeers chuckled.
— Stop laughing at the newbie! — he said to them — You all passed through it once.
After realizing my constant yelling and struggling was turning me into the center of attention, I burrowed my face into the snow, trying to avoid the other reindeer’s gaze. Maybe a few others, if not all of them, were humans like me. I didn’t want to be recognized! I kept hiding my face until the changes stopped and my human features were gone.
Pete held my head and pulled me up gently, then cleaned the snow from my muzzle.
— They aren’t making fun of you… They are just happy to have a new friend.
— Why is this happening? Why am I turning into a reindeer?
— You read the letter, didn’t you?
— It said nothing about turning into a reindeer! — I finally stood on my fours, looking down at the tiny elf below me. He was as small as a child.
— It didn’t? — Pete scratched his head — Maybe they sent you a customized letter. I'll talk with the interns later.
— What about me? — I bit the reins, trying to release myself — This is a misunderstanding! I didn’t want any of this!
— Well — he looked away, embarrassed — There is no changing back now, so you’ll have to go along with it for the night… I’m sorry for the inconvenience, but presents have to be delivered and we are short on time.
— This is forced work! — I said, holding down my voice so I wouldn't sound like a hysterical reindeer in front of the others.
— It is voluntary work — the elf kept a calm professional voice — That’s why we send a letter and ask for consent. Besides, you can just wait here at the station if you aren’t feeling ready.
— Can I really? — I pulled the reins trying to show him I was bound to the sled.
Pete rolled his eyes, probably thinking “why do we get one of these every year?”.
Then a hoof touched my furry back and the reindeer behind me said:
— Don’t leave, it’s going to be fun — the reindeer smiled — Do you like flying?
— Are you okay with all of this? — I pointed at the bridle in my mouth. I had no words to describe how ashamed I was from turning into a cargo animal.
— This is my fifth year doing it — the reindeer laughed — It’s my little contribution to the world. Besides, I’d rather be here than spending christmas alone ever again.
— Are you a loner too?
— Indeed! Nice to meet you, fellow loner — she raised her hoof — I’m Pam!
— Well… I’m… I’m…
I didn’t really want to give out my name… Part of me died a little inside as I imagined myself crossing paths with someone on the streets and the person being like “Hey! Hello Emily! Remember me from when we were transformed into reindeers and delivered presents on christmas! hey! Why are you blushing, Emily! Come back! Hey!”
My face burned red, but luckily the fur prevented her from realizing how embarrassed I was.
However...
Part of me wanted some company during that night.
What if I was turned into a reindeer?
What if I was going to fly across the city tied to a magical sled delivering presents?
At least I wasn't alone anymore!
It was better than anything else had planned for the night...
Pete was starting to undo my knots, but then I turned to him:
— No… Stop! — I placed my strangely squishy hooves on his arm — I’ll stay! I’ll help with the presents! I changed my mind!
— I’m glad to hear that! — he smiled — The more helpers we have, the better!
— Yay! — said Pam — A new furry friend!
Pete shrugged then turned around and announced in a loud voice that didn't seem compatible with his tiny body:
— We fly in ten minutes, my friends! Get ready and attach yourselves to the closest sled! Stay put in line and keep your antlers away from everyone’s eyes!
I sighed and looked down on my long furry legs that ended in soft hooves. I poked the squishy red nose at the end of my snout. I wiggled my tiny tail left and right. I was a complete reindeer with no humanity left, except for the uncomfortable sweater I was still wearing.
— So, how are you feeling, newcomer? — asked Pam.
— It is weird — I nervously tapped my hoof against the snow — Is this real?
— You’ll get used to it — she smiled — To be honest, I really enjoy being a reindeer… Besides, don’t you want to take out this sweater? It looks tight…
— Well… I’m not really ready for being naked — I looked down — Besides some of these reindeers are probably male… It is all so weird!
— Don’t worry — she chuckled — They don’t mix genders. There are only girls here!
— In this case… you can take it out… I guess… it's really uncomfortable…
It was like being dragged to a nudist beach against my will. The strange moment when I don’t want to get naked, but also don’t want to be the only person wearing clothes...
I raised my front legs one at a time while Pam helped me undress with her mouth, destroying my sweater thread by thread even while being careful. She seemed playful, but I was completely stiffened by shame. That was by far the most uncanny situation I’ve ever been involved into.
— Hey! Relax! You are making things difficult for me!
— The sweater is already ruined… Can you just rip it off? I can get another one.
— Will be a pleasure!
She pulled it with all her might, ripping the last threads and releasing me from that last hint of humanity. There was no sign left that I was ever human. Somehow I was feeling better after taking that thing off. It allowed me to see the full extent of that transformation... I looked cute and cuddly…
“I wish I had a plushie like myself…”
— So… Newcomer — she checked on me from the bottom up — Have I seen you before by any chance?
Looking around, every reindeer looked the same to me… But then I remembered my body wasn’t fully transformed when I appeared at the station.
— Was my face still recognizable when I came in here?
— Of course, dear! We’ll have a lot to talk at work next year!
— WHAT! — my heart raced and my mind anticipated all the weird conversations I was bound to have in the future — REALLY?
— Just kidding — she laughed — People are already “reindeered” enough when they come here. Nobody knows who you are, unless you tell them.
— Is everyone open about it?
— Most are pretty open about it… I mean… We are all lonely here, so we try to make a few friends. You never know if the reindeer right next to you lives close by. There is always a chance you may find a neighbor here.
— Is everyone here spending christmas alone?
— Basically every reindeer — she blushed — This experience gives us a brighter holiday, I would say. Some are able to make plenty of friends here, so they have company next year… And therefore we never see them again… Which is good… because it means they aren’t alone anymore!
— Oh! — I looked down — Sorry.
— For what? — she tilted her head, confused.
— I mean... this your fifth year here, right? It means you haven't found anybody yet.
— That's because I like it — she brushed her hoof against the snow slowly.
— You like being here?
— I like being a reindeer...
— What?
— Well… don’t laugh, but I quite enjoy it… Being turned into a reindeer and all… I love christmas!
— You are weird…
— Don’t judge me — she raised her snout — I’m helping deliver presents every year and in exchange I get turned into a reindeer. Everyone is happy. I even convinced you to stay and make new friends! I'm doing my job for a better holiday.
— Okay... Okay... I'm sorry... It's just that I'm all uncomfortable in this body, meanwhile you seem pretty content with it.
— Content is a weak word — she rubbed a hoof against her furry chest — Gosh! I love this body! Wish I could be like this all year long!
"Okay... She's nice, but crazy", I thought to myself.
A gush of snow erupted from the ground in front of me accompanied by the same music from before, scaring the hell out of me. I jumped back and fell on Pam's fluffy soft body, getting us both on the ground with me on top.
Another half-person half-reindeer appeared, connected to the same sled as me and Pam. This one came in completely naked, seeming happy at the last stages of her transformation, dancing and laughing. She was pretty unrecognizable at that point, which made me less scared of having my identity revealed.
Now that I had thought about it, I was definitely one of the few idiots who came in dressed, but I had no idea any of that was going to happen.
The new animal jumped happily as the transformation ended, then looked down at me and Pam, both of us flopped on the snow.
— Hi Pam! Who's the girl on top of you? — she raised an eyebrow — Don't tell me she is a weird one like you.
I had no idea how she recognized her. Every reindeer looked the same to me.
— Hello Trisha! — Said Pam, under me — This is a new girl. She almost wanted to quit, but I convinced her to stay... Sadly she isn't an oddball like me.
Realizing I was STILL on top of her, I immediately got up and apologized, offering my hoof to help her get up:
— Sorry, Pam! I didn't mean to fall on top of you!
— Just when I was getting excited — she sighed — You can come back if you want. Your body is so fluffy and...
— Stop getting the new girl weirded out, Pam! She's gonna think we are all like you.
— I wish there were more like me...
The second reindeer raised one hoof in my direction, appearing to be offering a handshake... I mean... Hoofshake?
— Hi! I'm Trisha!
— Hi... — I bumped my hoof against hers, uncertain if that was the correct custom.
— Don't worry about Pam. She's the reason we don't get mixed genders in this whole thing, but she's a nice girl.
— Hey! Don't talk to me as if I'm some kind of deviant! It’s not my fault for liking it! — Pam raised her snout and turned around — At least I'm not doing this for ten years like you.
I turned to Trisha with my eyes open wide:
— Ten years!?
— Yes — she announced proudly — This is my family now. This is where I choose to spend Christmas every year! Helping newcomers feel better and also helping people find new friends. If you are lucky, we'll be able to find you a few friends so you don't have to come back here next year.
— So... You are like the Big sister of the herd?
— Sister? — Pam chuckled — She's old enough to be our mother!
In the distance, the voice from Pete, the elf, echoed:
— Get ready, ladies! We are about to depart! Stay in line!
If I wanted to ask questions, I felt like I was better off asking Trisha.
— What exactly is going to happen?
— Didn't Pam tell you? — she gave the other one a look full of judgment — What have you two been doing all this time? She's completely lost!
— Hey! — Pam stepped forward — It's not my fault she didn't read all the pages before coming! She didn't even know we would be turned into reindeers in the first place!
"Pages? What pages? I received ONE!"
— Okay, newcomer... What's your name?
— Well... I don't... Really...
— She's shy — said Pam — I wasn't able to open her up with my charm.
— Anyways — continued Trisha — In case you know NOTHING about what's going to happen, I'll make it short — she breathed in — You are going to be a reindeer for a few days while...
— DAYS?
— Can I finish?
— Sorry... Go on...
— You are going to be a reindeer for a few days while we fly over the sky delivering presents. It will look like days for us, but for the rest of the world it will be just a single night. We have many breaks for eating and chatting, so you'll get to know a lot of people if you want to. It's a mix of half-party and half-communal work.
— I didn't receive any papers about this...
— Don't worry — she smiled — It's gonna be fun.
— And I'll have a nice view from your ass — said Pam behind me.
— Stop scaring the new girl!
— Stop furry-shaming me!
— I swear I'll help you find another oddball... But this girl clearly isn't one.
— She could be.
— I'm not! — I said, then quickly added — But I can be your friend.
— At least she's cute.
— Don't we all look the same? — I asked.
— I could point out more than twenty differences between you and Pam.
I glanced at Trisha, then back at Pam. I couldn't even point one difference between them, save for their voices.
— Well... I....
— Just wait till your reindeer senses kick in — said Pam.
— Get ready, girls — Trisha turned her back, looking ahead of us — it's starting.
I followed Trisha’s lead and also looked ahead, my eyes following the endless candy cane posts that extended all the way to the horizon. There were many reindeers ahead of us, connected to the same sled. On both sides I saw other sleds and more reindeers. “This is a reindeer airport”, I thought, chuckling.
I glanced back at Pam and caught her staring at my furry ass…
— C’mon, Pam… Just being a reindeer is already awkward for me… could you stop?
— Really? — she laughed — I’m not gonna assault you, don’t worry — then she winked — Besides, you were the one who jumped on top of me.
The melody started playing in my head again, painting the air in front of me like a floating road of light brushed into thin air, going higher and higher in the sky.
A silly grin formed on my face involuntarily. I tried to stop it because it was making me embarrassed, but my smile just got wider and wider as my face moved on its own.
The reins connecting us to the sled emitted a dim light and a rush of adrenaline sparked on me, as if I was suddenly connected to every other reindeer, all of us directed to a purpose like a single entity. However, I didn’t feel scared… that connection filled me with warmth and joy, similar to how being hugged by everyone I loved would feel like. My body was weightless and neither of my hooves were touching the ground anymore. I and every other reindeer were floating a few inches from the snow, our bodies covered in a weak light and our faces painted with the most beautiful smile I had ever seen.
I moved my left hoof and every other reindeer did the same.
I moved my right hoof and every other reindeer did the same.
I wasn’t sure if I was controlling them, if an unknown force was controlling all of us, or if we were just completely synchronized in our body and minds.
My body had a will of its own...
I wasn’t Emily anymore…
I was part of the herd…
I was one with the herd…

Writing "these types" of stories is all about trying to hit as many buttons as possible.
I'm glad to hit some of yours, as that means the story fulfilled its purpose ^^
Most of my stories fit in this category of cute/sexy but not explicitly sexual.
