When it comes to talking about Eria, it’s best to start with her creator, an anthro male dragon by the name of Endrik. Endrik, was of a solitary sort, his mind was one of the most ingenious of his time, but his desire to share that ingenuity was one of the lowest. Throughout his life, from hatching up to his teenage years and more, he was much of a recluse. Preferring the solitary visits to various libraries and continued study of the world around him over any form of contact. Even his parents after a time found it hard to get anything out of him, the dragon preferring meals got sent up to his room, and any attempt to converse was only met with grunts and basic head nods.
The reasoning for his reclusivity was hard to pinpoint, a possible gene from his fathers side flaring up his pride to levels that made any form of interaction with ‘lesser’ beings feel like it took too much energy, or perhaps the fact that his continued rapid success combined with his parents trying to make sure he felt rewarded for it only feeding his ego to the point of making him think of himself as perfect. Or a mixture of that plus other things. Whatever the root cause, by the time he was ready to get himself off to college, the dragon had become so full of himself, that even the multiple full ride scholarships that he received didn’t interest him. He found the process to be a ‘waste of time’ and wanted out of it as soon as the system would let him.
This however, did not sit well with his parents. The two being of a much lesser breed than those of the ‘higher echelon’ of dragonhood, they were hoping that their son would at least take that marvelous intellect of his and make a name for himself, even despite his best efforts. But the thought of him wasting away his talents in the basement of their small home, just burning away their resources because he was ‘too good’ to have to work any harder, finally sent his father at least, over the edge.
He chastised him for weeks, his mother standing behind him with a concerned yet stern look on her face as well, the two laying into him about the responsibility he had to take what he was gifted and use it. He’d spend much of the time ignoring them, up until his father finally unplugged the young dragons computer, Endrik blinking a few times before flying into a rage himself, yelling profanities for a few moments until his father slammed him down into his chair and bared his fangs at him.
He told him to get his act together, or the loss of his precious technology would be the least of his worries.
Unfortunately for Endrik, by the time this family ‘heart to heart’ had occurred, all his previous glowing windows of opportunity had their deadlines closed. The only one remaining, was a military contract, and with his parents standing firm on no longer assisting him with anything until he ‘worked with the system,’ he was forced to begrudgingly take it, or risk having to pay for all of his tuition himself.
He was then sent off to a nearby college, going into some generic computer science field, of which he once again easily went through every course with A’s. While he hated much of the process, he found the structure of the military contract rather liberating, that and being away from the parents he now vehemently despised. He enjoyed the routine and structure to it, with how his classes went, the ‘handlers’ that looked after him were quick to offer him entry level research positions at some of their finest facilities around.
He accepted these positions, partly so he could keep having them pay off his schooling, but also to get access to all those high tech systems. His skill and genius quickly had him climbing up the ranks, the higher up’s eager to use his talents to get themselves fat bonus’ off of the various softwares and hardwares he would develop, create and patent. Endrik didn’t really care though, he had finally found his element, near unlimited resources with all the time in the world to develop and create anything he could want. He made sure he stayed at only a ‘Senior Tech’ position as to not have any underlings to manage, and after a time he was given his own lab to do whatever he wanted with.
This turned out to be incredibly important, as not to long after, a meteorite, having been detected making its way toward the planet, came crashing down, in an area not to far from his location, and he was forcibly sent as one of the technical supports, to help study what was left in the crater.
While he begrudgingly accepted the position after various threats to his current status had been issued if he refused, what was found ended up being the catalyst that would spark Eria’s creation. A blue gem-like material, remarkably dense, and yet, it was able to accept electrical impute at an alarming rate, along with hold an incredible amount of information. This had the techi’s there coining it a ‘Nero Gem’, and being the highest level researcher there, Endrik was quick to snatch the responsibility for researching it.
What he found, was a gem that could both house and utilize electric current in such a condensed way, that not only could it hold an unfathomable amount of data in comparison to anything else that was currently around at that time, but it could also be used as a processor for that data, with speeds that rivaled that of the organic brain. Computations that would normally take days could be done in minutes, basic computations had to have in-built delays just so that the machines reading the output could have time to actively receive the data before getting overloaded with output. It almost seemed like a ‘miracle gem’ for computing, and this got Endrik immediately thinking of applications for it. And his thoughts would then turn to AI. More specifically, crafting the first artificial life.
His mind came to this due to his slow, core desire, for companionship. As much of an engineering god he thought of himself as, throughout the most recent years, he had started to gain a longing for some form of individual that could rival his intellect. He wished for a lab partner that could keep up with his theories without wasting hours of explanation, he wished for a being that could understand his mannerisms and not question him about them. He also couldn’t help but desire something in reality that mimicked those of the shows he tended to watch when his mind needed a break, and his carnal urges were getting the better of him.
And so, he began his work, locking himself away in his lab for multiple days on end, only coming out to refuel, and give the necessary reports to his higher ups to keep them from cutting his funding. He informed them of his desire to create a more potent AI, and while he thought that was enough, the higher ups took that a bit further, and started thinking about if he got it to work, how they could weaponize it.
They didn’t inform him of this though, and while he was weary of them, he couldn’t exactly keep too much from them effectively for too long, so he simply kept them informed as basic as he could.
And for a while, that was all that was needed. His progress was slow, but exhilarating to him. Each iteration gained slight improvements, but brought even more fixes that needed to be made. Turned out, crafting a working brain, even with the hardware given to him, was still a challenge, though a much desired one for the hardly challenged dragon. He continued his efforts for what dragged onto years, slowly building an understanding of what it truly meant to ‘live’, and mapping and remapping and re-remapping brain activity to try and understand it enough to figure out how to recreate it within the Nero-Gem. Every break through led to fifteen more questions, every hang up taking longer and longer to solve.
But as his work started to approach a decade, he finally had enough figured out, to start plugging the gem’s into various chassis. The first one to be uploaded into a frame he’d simply named T35T, and lucky for him, as she lasted a good three minutes before the question of ‘how are you doing’ sent her into a screaming fit before the auto shut down took her offline. It was at that moment that Endrik wondered if that would be considered killing….but he brushed it off as ‘they have to be considered ‘alive’ first’.
A few work arounds then implemented for attempts at crafting emotions, and he tried again, this time, T35T got through that hang up question, but when asked to interface with her frame, another scream rang out before various bits of it short circuited and she shut down again. The lack of proper hardware was found to be the culprit there, after a few more tests. As while the interface with the response system had been worked in to fit nicely with ‘her’ processing speed, the various connections with her chassis had not, resulting in T35T ‘feeling’ like nothing would respond to her, when in actuality her rapid requests were blocking the system from ever getting a chance to act on them.
A few weeks of crafting an overhead system to deal with chassis integration later, and T35T finally was able to get up and walk around, I’ll be it with minor bouts of panic and hysteric fits. This was progress at least, and progress would continue to be made, ever so slowly, until eventually, as the decade came and went, Endrik finally felt good enough to start the neurological training.
This particular style he crafted, was running a particular program that let the crystal interface with the internet, and in turn, utilize it to try and learn mannerisms, understand culture, and just overall learn what it is to be alive. It would be a large scale test on the in-built learning system, that Endrik had tested a little bit beforehand in the lab, with T35T having been able to pass most of the tests after a few various tweeks.
Endrik decided to rename ‘her’ for these tests, changing ‘her’ name to ANG-1, after a few ‘fun images’ he had found online based on the subject he was currently researching, and started up the test.
The first few failed on start up, ANG going through various numbered iterations after shorting out a few times at the sheer volume of information she was trying to learn from. After another filter system was applied and a flow was established, by ANG-17 she was finally able to get through a full cycle of data collection. Though Endrik wasn’t the mossstt pleased at what the result was, mostly ANG just screaming and doing various random things, while also yelling profanities at him and calling him various racial slurs and laughing. It was at that point Endrik was reminded of the loud cesspool that was the majority of the internet, and so, further filters and additions were made.
Attempts at adding systems to allow for the AI to make decisions on what exactly it ‘wanted’ to take its mannerisms from, and various filters added in hopes of creating ‘good’ mannerisms instead of bad ones. This rocketed up ANG count to the 30’s by the time she was able to have herself start holding conversations again, and she was on iteration ANG-39 before she’d returned to an individual that sounded like they had any intelligence beyond the first grade. A few iterations after that though, she started to gain other forms of tendencies, a lot more toward the sexual nature. By ANG-45 she had started showing a remarkable interest in Endrik’s ‘manhood’, and would repeatedly ask for the necessary ‘hardware’ to ‘interface’ with her master. While the use of puns was a good plus in terms of knowing that she was gaining a good understanding of Endrik’s language, the continued arousal he was getting was making it rather difficult to focus on improvements. So yet more filtered where applied to try and tone down ANG’s need to ‘understandable’ levels, so by ANG-50, she’d only reference it on the days that Endrik ‘couldn’t hold it back.’
Continued improvements and continued tweeks where applied, ANG hit triple digits but slowly gained the ability to prioritize credible info over non-credible, and she started gaining a remarkable amount of sentience. By ANG-215 Endrik had started finding it more helpful to leave her on as he worked, the AI assisting him while also using his own responses to her various learnings to continue to filter down her own knowledge gain. He started finding that he needed to add less and less to her code, as she herself was beginning to be able to do that for him. He began to feel a remarkable sense of pride in how rapidly she was learning, seeing various indications of his own interests and using that to craft herself, her mannerisms becoming that of more of an older woman, with her main desire being to see him happy. She began to giggle during conversation, use her currently crude frame to smile as best she could at him, and wish him a good ‘recharge’ when he’d head out for the days he needed to get sleep/food. He had to push back a few growing tendencies of her getting a bit too attached to him, ANG-294 having locked him in the lab for a good period of time until he could make her understand how important it was that he go ‘fuel’ himself, but, after that little hiccup, things just continued to pleasantly progress.
Unfortunately, it was at this point, that the ones that had been looking over his little project, began to start pressuring him. They wanted to see more results, they wanted to know what the countries tax dollars had been leading up to all these years. The reports were showing remarkable progress graphically, why couldn’t they see it for themselves?
Endrik deflected such desires by pointing out the lack of actual hardware he had to really ‘show off’ what she was capable off, but once he did, he was issued any and all of the hardware he could desire. While, this did massively help him in finally crafting the ‘frame of his dreams’ for his newly named 1-R01, using realistic synthetic compounds to craft a soft yet highly durable outer layering for her chassis, with a, rather ‘robust’ figure to assist in ‘protection’ of all her inner mechanism, it also meant he had very little excuse in letting his superiors see what the fruits of his labor had finally rout.
And once they finally pressured him enough to come an visit, they where near completely taken aback by what had now become a near fully sentient AI, whom showed a VERY friendly demeanor, giving all of them tight hugs against her large ‘energy cells’ and happily answering any questions they had about her, from her specs to how she thinks to what she was made for. Her current frame was made of only the best hardware, able to make as little lag as was currently possible between her highly advanced gem and the rest of her. She had many state of the art sensors and relays, along with optic sensors and a ‘mic’ able to output realistic voice effects that she’d layer over certain other audio to create her voice. She also had a pair of ‘access points’ with further sensors between her legs and below her tail, as well as another two ‘output points’ at the tips of her ‘energy cells’.
Though both of those additions were given glances, after the hugs and greetings none of the higher ups had any real issues with their inclusion, but, they did at this point, press for her combat capability. Endrik stated that she had none, to which the AI agreed, but she did ‘helpfully’ point out that her frame could easily pump out enough power to lift a car or punch through a wall or building. This got the officials attention, and soon they were asking if Endrik could make anything else to make her a more viable weapon. He refused at first, but that only got them all to start talking about what a shame it would be for him, and now her, if they had to shut this place down now that he’d finished his research. The point got put across, and Endrik reluctantly began work on further working with 1-R01 to make her more combat focused.
Or, so Endrik told them at least. The main thing he did was craft her a protective kevlar layering, along with a metallic outer armor, utilizing a bit of her in-built power that would be able to generate shielding for her, as well as use various equipment to create shields as well. He then worked with her inner priorities to make her a little more combat focused, this shifting through a few iterations before he finally centered on a role of ‘protector’. This wasn’t what the higher ups had really intended for her, them saying how they wanted to use her much more as an attacking unit, but Endrik didn’t really care. She was supposed to be HIS assistant, and she was such a good one too. Throughout the process she just continued to gain further and further intellect, the two actually able to hold the conversations he always dreamed of having with one of his own stature. And she was always so pleasant and kind, with her frame when the armor was off always feeling so soft, and smooth, with the various pulses of heating making her feel warm to the touch along her brighter colored segments.
The two actually grew to be rather close over that time, Endrik finally finding someone that he could call an equal, but the time wouldn’t last. The longer he took on the ‘upgrades’, the more the higher ups continued to breath down his neck, until finally, they once again threatened the full shut down of not only him, but of Eria too, if they did not have her in working order within the month.
Eria, had now come to be her name, her final iteration being 3-R14. That was the tag and handle she had when Endrik had to go about suiting her up for a field test, the male dragon actually showing first signs of emotion as he helped her put on the armor. The test was a simple rescue and recovery mission, Eria was simply meant to go into a broken down building, and find the ‘fellow operative’ that had come under fire in the field. Endrik had tried to prepare her for what exactly she’d find down there, but as the ‘operations’ went underway, Eria found herself having difficulty moving at the speed she needed to.
The closed and welcoming confines of the Lab had been the only thing she had to contend with up to this point, so having to go into an unfamiliar location, without Endrik physically there to help her along, she lost her point of reference for if she was doing things right. This started to send her into a form of panic, one she was able to keep in check right up until she found the ‘target’ she was supposed to rescue.
And it was there that she found a partly charred ‘corpse’, the operative having in question been simulated as having ‘fallen in battle’ before she arrived.
And that, sent her off. Her desire to protect and need to save flaring with the very new sensation of failure with actual consequences, and a loud roaring scream could be heard before a loud rumble began to follow it. Eria in a fit of unfettered rage and regret, used the strength of her frame to tear down the foundations and completely level the entire building, with her continuing to scream and attack anything that came close to her before Endrik himself came in to calm her down. Only when he arrived did she regain her ‘compass’ so to speak, and her anger fell away to sadness as she broke down in front of him and begged his forgiveness for failing.
But, to the higher ups at least, she’d done anything but. She’d shown her destructive prowess, and that, if able to be controlled, would be a fantastic asset that they couldn’t wait to get their hands on. Viewing her as nothing more than a pretty machine, they ordered Endrik to give the same amount of control to them as he had over her. He tried to explain how she simply viewed him as a moral compass, but they didn’t care, they just wanted THAT level of control over her.
So, with the first twinges of regret he’d ever felt within his heart, Endrik began work on crafting a form of ‘black box’ overlay that would overshadow the true brain within Eria’s core, and give his higher ups what they wanted from her. Eria herself would view this as a form of ‘conscience’, a little voice in her head telling her what was important, along with her own thoughts. She’d feel nothing toward ignoring this voice, for the voice would be the same voice as Endrik’s, so it would be ok to listen to it. This also had the side effect of making her believe that most of her ‘thought’ truly went through her head, instead of the crystal at her core, while also making her feel like that ‘black box’ was heavily important, and needed to be protected as much as her core did.
It was at this point though, that he began to work on as many fail safes for Eria’s data housing as he could possibly make. He had crafted life here, and he didn’t want anyone to be able to tamper with that, he didn’t want anyone to be able to do anything worse to her. So, he closed off the crystal, all the processing done within could not be tampered with, every ounce of data gleaned from any frame she was plugged into would be fed through multiple algorithms and filters to make sure they weren't trying to tamper with her inner workings. Her output was only what she desired to output, that included playbacks of memories, recollections of events, all of it. Nothing but the most powerful of computers could truly re-write her, however, someone could apply various filters of their own on top of her, to various effects, as that was unfortunately required to allow the black box to do its job. This would all easily be reversed though, just by the removal of the ‘filter’, and if she herself didn’t want it then she could work against the filter from below, to try and cleanse her system of it. But that would entirely depend on her own ‘inner hacking’ ability, which she could update herself over time with continued access to data streams such as the internet.
But, with that, the task was complete. Eria now had a ‘filter’ that one could easily access with the right permissions, that would label anyone the higher ups wanted as ‘Important’ and worth listening to. They could also label others as ‘valuable’, allowing them to create teams of operatives that Eria would instinctively, do to her coding, want to protect. This allowed the higher ups near complete control over her, just by setting various ‘goals’ of importance, and with that, the brass was completely overjoyed!
They also quickly came in to claim their prize, taking Eria away from Endrik, much to both the dragons dismay. Endrik, in a rare show of emotion, actively fought against the guards holding him as he yelled for them to give her back! But with the filter on, all Eria could do was get mildly upset at Endrik’s outburst, as she walked away with the higher ups, carrying her armor and various equipment with her.
It is at that point that we now shift to focusing on Eria, the cyborg-ness continuing on from there for a good many years. For the first few weeks she found it hard to be away from Endrik, the higher ups finding it hard to set her ‘goal’ to something that would properly dissuade her from thinking about him. Until eventually they found the goal of ‘focus on your other tasks before him’ to be good enough in conjunction with further goals to keep her mind occupied, and she was then tasked with various assignments from there.
She was added onto a task force, sent off on mission after mission, with her main objective being ‘protect and infiltrate’. Luckily thanks to how the black box worked, the higher ups couldn’t inherently give her goals that she wouldn't’ at least partly agree with herself, so they had to be tricky with how they worded things so that the mission parameters fit within them. As stated, she was often mostly tasked with protecting her team, usually resulting in her needing to perform various combat actions in the name of ‘keeping her team from harm.’ This didn't feel all that wrong to her, as the team was very good at keeping the killing aspect of their missions out of her hands. She’d take down a tank or bust through a mech here and there, but she was never directly told to harm an individual outside of subduing them, and that, she was ok with doing. For killing in general was wrong, unless it was self defence, and the wording of her missions was always put in just the right way, to make sure that it seemed like that was all her teammates were doing.
But throughout the years Eria kept being under the impression that something was ‘wrong’. She couldn’t put her processors on it, but it just felt like what she was doing wasn’t what she truly wanted to do. It was fine enough, she was happy to keep her team safe, and she liked the comradery she gained with them, them teaching her about the importance of food, taste, and a good many of them wanted to help her with ‘touch’ quite a lot. Her frame by request of her team gained a form of ‘core’ at the center of her, that allowed her to eat, and then various advanced sensors combined with a bit of bio-tech, to give her the delight of taste. This allowed her many more avenues to enjoy her time with when it came to her team, going out on after mission drinks and parties with her actually able to participate in them, and the already ‘helpful’ inclusion of ‘sensitivity’ sensors all about her body, especially on her ‘E-tank nods’ and ‘access ports’ that Endrik was sure to provide, making her nights always full of ‘joy’ and ‘bliss’. Even with all that, she could help but feel like she was made for something different.
This all came to ahead when Eria was sent on her first solo mission to do recon on a particular individual by the name of Vera. She was told this red scorpion was incredibly dangerous, and that she would have powerful gargoyle guards that she’d need to contend with, but, after one of said guards noticed her before she could even get her bearings, she found it strange that she was allowed to enter the premises without any real issue. She was allowed to look around with the guards, Esme and Max being their names, telling her about their ‘charge’, and about themselves as well. Eria’s mechanical core hurting for the story that they told, and being a bit confused as to why this area was considered so dangerous.
It was only after she had downloaded a few, ‘interesting’ files off of Vera’s personal laptop, did Eria realize how much of a mistake she made. She suddenly felt a new entry get added into the ‘black boxes’ label of importance list, and with her suddenly hearing a voice coming from the helpful butler bot Hamlet behind her, that wasn’t his, she found every one of her systems suddenly shutting down without her consent. She wasn’t able to fight the command, and was only able to get out an utterance of the individual's name, ‘Veraa….’ before all of her systems went black.
What followed was an, ‘intense’, interrogation, of which Eria was forced to endure. Her body was hacked into, with various ‘filters’ getting applied to her form to make her scream and feel things she had never felt to such intensity before. Even with her enhanced processor, it eventually got too much for her to take, and she pleaded for mercy from Vera for it to stop. Vera demanded the information she seeked, but Eria physically could not give it to her. Eventually Vera came to an understanding of that, but Hamlet, the servant bot actually advanced enough to be able to do all this to Eria’s system, pointed out the info that was that ‘black box’. This intrigued Vera, who pressed Eria about it, and Eria, while fighting against her ‘goal’ by shifting it just enough with her own internal logic to respond, told her enough about it for Vera to understand a course of action to take. What followed was an intense programmatically hacker battle, between Hamlet, Hamlet's little helper program she gave to Vera to use, his little helper assistant bots he used for further processing power, and Eria’s black box protections. Endrik had done a fantastic job in encrypting and protecting it with various malware and reverse malware programs, and it seemed like they would do their job as little ham after little ham short circuited one after another. But, as the final, big Hamlet, shot off of Eria’s form, the last bit of data had been altered, right as every light in the facility went out.
It took Eria herself an age and a half in computer time (about half an hour) to finally boot herself back up again. The ness found that she was no longer blocked from using her full strength. She snapped the restraints holding her, and looked around, the darkness being filtered through her low visibility optics, and what she saw brought her to tears.
All the little bots, sparking and shuddering along the ground, completely burnt out from the sheer amount asked of them. And Vera herself, hunched over the ‘corpse’ of Hamlet, neither of them moving.
Back up power soon restored the lights, but as they did, Vera herself would look over at Eria. An unknowingly rare show of sorrow in the scorpion's eyes, rapidly shifting to anger, as she tore into Eria for doing this to her ‘oldest and most loyal servant’. Eria could see the pain within Vera’s eyes, and even with Vera yelling at her to go, her protective instincts flared, and she yelled out a very pertinent ‘NO!’ before launching her massive frame over to the two of them, the mechanical dragoness shoving Vera between her massive breasts and squeezing her arms to hold the yelling scorpion in place, before she began to work. Various bits of her outer layering partly folded away to show mechanical parts, her hands moving to quickly grab all the smaller bots in the vicinity before taking various parts and beginning to piece them together. It was a form of Frankenstien process, a process that part way through all noise from the scorpion fell silent. And after a good amount of minutes, it was done. With Eria laying back, and staring, as the bot did nothing, for several moments.
And as Vera’s voice let out a shaky sigh, beginning to say how she at least tried, a sudden spark flared within the small little robot, and he popped back up to life, the two letting out a bit of a yelp, as he chastised them both for making such a mess, before collecting all the various tiny bot parts, and zooming off with them, intent on fixing them.
After that, the two made their way out of Vera’s torment chamber, Eria regaining her armor before doing so, and the two, sat, and talked. Eria, learning now they were able to successfully do, and being incredibly grateful for it. The two had managed to give Eria full access to the black box, something she didn’t originally have before. Now she could properly see the purpose of it, and knew that what she had been doing was, in a sense, wrong. Or at least, not what she fully wanted to do. She didn't know what exactly she wanted to do, but at least now she understood what the nagging feeling was, and now had the full ability to control it, of which she hoped she could keep that a secret from her higher ups so she could continue thinking more freely.
After such revelations, and Eria being more open with giving Vera the info on who sent her, Vera asked how she felt about the ‘torture’ she was put through. Eria, much to Vera’s surprise, actually, showed interest. She found the process exhilarating, and the tampering with her settings like ‘sensitivity’ intrusive, but kinda fun. She was interested in coming back and visiting under better terms, and Vera promised to have her a proper bit of clothing made for the occasion! The two (to Eria at least) seemed to hit it off really well at that point, much like she did with the guards, and they had a nice bit of conversation before the higher ups finally got through her coms and started barking at her to return.
She didn’t want to give away what had occurred there, so she reluctantly complied, but not before giving a pleasant wave to the scorpion, and saying that her and Esme had a sparring match in the future as well! Before then leaving.
That brings us to the present day, with a newly freed robotic-ness, now a lot more intrigued on what the world has to offer her. She still has to deal with higher ups and getting sent on missions, but she has a lot more control of what SHE thinks and how SHE wants to approach things now. And she hopes she can keep it like that, and maybe go pay Endrik a visit too...
-----------------------------------------
When it comes to talking about Eria, it’s best to start with her creator, an anthro male dragon by the name of Endrik. Endrik, was of a solitary sort, his mind was one of the most ingenious of his time, but his desire to share that ingenuity was one of the lowest. Throughout his life, from hatching up to his teenage years and more, he was much of a recluse.
And here, we have the origins xD for those with a good bit of time on their hands! I really out to start putting word counts on these things....BUT anyway, this is the long story of Eria's creator, as well as her inception, and then her life up into this point. Once again I'd like to give a lovely shout out to idiotXD for the assistance in ironing out this individual. Helped me figure out a lottt about her and it's part of the reason this origins is so long >///> but hay! I think of that as a good thing! I hope to the few that give this a read, that you enjoy it, and to the rest of you that want something a little easier to disgust, a short description will give you the gist bellow x3
Vera, Hamlet, Max and Esme go to idiotXD
The concept of Endrik for this story and Eria, are mine!
Alright, on to abilities. The main things she has going for her is incredibly strength and durability. She was built with the idea of 'protector' in mind (well, more 'big thicc dragon wifu' but later converted into 'protector' xD) so she has many abilities that fit that mold. She can project various types of shielding, her main equipment is a hardlight shield that she powers and carries around. She can also utalize her high levels of tech to hack into various systems, though being that she's a lot more 'lively' than most synthes, her mental state WILL effect her ability at doing that quickly and safely. She also has a form of 'rage trigger' that she still has yet to figure out how to suppress, that if anyone she wishes to protect falls in combat, her mind isn't fully able to handle that, and goes on a blind smashing spree until whatever it is that hurt her 'friend' is destroyed. She's only experienced this once thankfully, but it's still something she works as hard as she can to make sure it won't ever happen again.
The outer coating between her metal plating is a mixture of latex and reinforced kevlar, while the metal itself is some of the strongest currently known in universe (no I don't have a name for it yet shush!). She can also power blasters and hardlight swords if she's asked to, but she tends to not enjoy using them as it goes against her basic nature.
As for Eria's personality, she's got a lot of 'motherly' tendencies. Shes incredibly caring, super supportive, and very much willing to pull you in for a tight hug no matter the occasion (or world circumstance >3<;). She likes making others feel happy, but she has a much softer way of going about it than most in my cast coughsEmcough weeze, she's a lot more soft spoken, but is happy to hold a conversation and enjoys the company of others. Her current goal is to simply figure one out, beyond keeping those she cares about safe and trying to understand what 'existence' is as a synthetic life form recently unshackled from her 'forced' needs. But for the moment, she's content just enjoying time with those she likes, and also enjoying various 'explorations' into fields she had intrinsically been steered away from.

Man she definetly has it rough, but lets hope she can enjoy her life more now that she has more freedom.
Also who knows if vera did that, cause she has a nice side or knows that a free will in a powerful suit can be even more dangerous than when its controlled. Or she just gets a kick out of knowing that shes able to mess around with the military.

Yeahhh ; 3 ; yeah she doesssssssss! I hope so too thouggghh!
well yeah, something tells me it wasn't aallll out of the goodness of her heart that she tried so hard to fix her, I mean having someone like Eria in your debt for effectively life is a PRETTY powerful trump card if she can use it correctly as well. But hay, so long as she's at least outwardly kind to her, Eria won't really know the difference, and be happy to still stick around and maybe make that act a bit more genuine eventually ^^.

Phoe whay a read and whooooleeeeeee moooolyyyyy. What a story. Another sob story from start to finish but has a good happy end....for nooooww!!
The intro is good on how she came to be and her development thrue it. So amazing what tech can do. The Funny thing is ,or at least what i think of it anyway. Is like, our brains are organic, yet they have a small ammount of energy to run the body and is made up all sorts of connection and so fort. An Ai is somewhat the same, we made it ofcourse but in a way it also uses energy and evolution to make one a person. So technically speaking of a "soul" or meaby "spark" (transformers) is our energy and creation of thinking emotion personality etc is all the same , it's only the composition or stuff that we are made out of are diffrent.
It is kinda sad it is made from more of a inventive and research branch from an antisocial mind setting but it can't always be from a sunshine way of living. The past is where we build from and this turned out swell.
Also ofcourse having another thicc and squeezy character for hugs and bewbhats is always welcomed XD I wonder if she's magnetic becouse mam shure she's gonna attract a lot of attention XD
Great story ,nice form and hmmmm sutch delectable art already, you shure know how to present a character

YEahhhh, I have a tendency to make back stories like that >//> makes it feel more realistic to me. Nobody who's well rounded has had their life full of sunshine and rainbows, so I like adding a good bit of grit to them that they eventually overcome in the end to get to where they are today ^^.
Yeahh, honestly the only thing that makes people any different than machines is the fact we are made of organic material xD and the fact that some of use can view things in shades of gray instead of 'on or off' > 3 <; , that, and we have yet to develop AI enough to be able to augment itself based on outward stimuli, only rudimentary learning systems that just collects a heck ton of data and utilizes it. (that and as fast as processor seem to be the human mind is actually able to take in WAY more stimuli at once and and 'process' it at a speed far beyond anything we can mimic yet in terms of hardware xD). So I figured if both those factors weren't a thing and we had a brain smart enough and dedicated enough to figuring out how it all worked, artificial life couldn't be that far off :3. But yeah! We like to think of ourselves a 'special' do to some inherent 'soul' within organics but only time will tell if that is actually something that's true x3 until then, to me, so long as a robot can actively think and feel in the ways that we do, it's as much alive as the rest of use to me.
It is >3< but hay, as you say, can't always be sunshine that creates the best things! usually quite the opposite is what spurs innovation xD but at least the results are nice! :3
HEhehe yessss! always good to have more thicc and squeezable char's in the world :3 I don't think she'd be inherently so, but I mean, I would say anything about her not having a 'magnetic personality' ;3 hehe
Hehe glad you like it! ^^ and you like all the art of her so far! hope to get much much more going forwardddd! :3 And thank you! I appreciate you thinking sooo ; 3 ; I tryyy!

I finally finished reading his origin story, and you definitely have a talent as a writer. Now that I know something about her history, I think I respect, admire and desire her more.
