"Come now, I can take you
A safer place awaits you
Follow me down
To the place that takes you
Underground"
This is an old remnant of the "Studio Days" of 2006, back when I first started composing electronic music.
As beautiful as the melody and words may be, this is actually a song about the angel of death calling to
someone who is longing to be released from the bonds of life. This song was created using a live keyboard
and a live bass guitar on a Zoom HD-16 recorder. It also is one of very few songs made with my own voice.
This song will always have a special place in my heart because I was struggling with suicide and depression
while I wrote this song. It will forever remind me of how quickly horrors you once feared can seem like the
only way out.
