(Andrew)
The day between the last one and the mission day was noticeably more... relaxed than the previous ones, at least for Andrew and Gasper. While Gasper was still his usual self, he was more willing to speak to Andrew more often. For Drake, nothing had changed at all, aside from him talking to Andrew again. For Gwen, though, she ended up looking at Drake more worriedly than before. Finally, for Alter, he ended up getting included more in conversations as everyone in the group could see him. The only sucky part was that people looked at the quadrio like the four were crazy at this, but they didn't care. As for Theater, the students were getting better and better! As for the play's date, it was Wednesday, October 1st.
"Aw, seriously, that soon?" a student complained.
"Don't fret now, my students!" the teacher chittered, "You've been doing so well that I'm confident this will go great!"
A couple students groaned at that. Drake had no reaction. Andrew and Gwen beamed, and Gasper simply scoffed.
"Ok," the mothy teacher said while pulling out some envelopes, "Step to collect these. Inside each one is 10 tickets. Your jobs are to sell them to whoever is planning on coming to the performance. They are $5 apiece."
After everyone had an envelope, rehearsal began as usual. Eventually, the rooftop time finally came again. After a while of waiting, Ash finally called.
"Yello?" Andrew asked.
"There's a situation at a construction site in Silph City, Minnesota. Get there and take care of it."
Both Andrew and Ash then hung up. Andrew then quickly searched something up on his phone.
"Next mission?" Gwen asked.
"We need to get to a construction site in Minnesota," Andrew said while holding his stitched hands out.
Gwen and Gasper grabbed them. Drake slowly grabbed the right shoulder. Andrew then twitched his tail, and the quadrio disappeared. On the other side, they were in a small city segment. For some reason, Andrew thought it looked like a more compact and compressed version of a Ride City segment.
"Over there," Gwen said as everyone let go.
Andrew looked to where she pointed. Not too far away, Andrew could make out a bit of unfinished scaffolding. The four then made their way there as fast as they could w/ Drake staggering behind (though, he was getting closer to proper walking). When the group reached the entrance, Gwen gasped, and Gasper's eyes went wide. Andrew, confused, looked forward. A few feet away, there was a guy w/ a black and green shirt and messy/spiky brown hair. His eyes were wide, and he was smiling.
"GEOFF!" The siblings shouted as they ran towards the guy.
The three hugged, and smiles were shared. Even Gasper was smiling! Andrew exchanged a confused glance w/ Drake before looking back.
"Um, who's this?" Andrew asked.
The three huggers then disentangled.
"Oh, sorry, how rude of us!" said Gwen while straightening her skirt, "This is our cousin, Geoffrey!"
"Otherwise known as the fucking GOAT!" Gasper said w/ a smirk.
"Heh, I don't know about all that, but yeah, I'm Geoff. Top of the morning to ya! :]."
Andrew went forward and shook his hand. Geoff then gave him a strange look.
"What?" Andrew asked while letting go.
"Uh, nothing, nothing."
"Huh. Well, are you, our client?" Andrew asked.
Geoff nodded and sighed.
"Yeah, a friend of mine suddenly went batshit crazy and has taken over the compound. Can you stop him?"
"Oh, sure," said Andrew.
Gwen and Gasper quickly rushed forward. Andrew then looked up towards Drake and Alter.
"Ready?"
"...No... Let's go..." Both said.
Andrew and Drake then rushed forward w/ Geoff staring curiously after Andrew.

MISSION START!
(Song: Volcano from Mega Man Zero 3)
Despite Geoff's warnings, the stage itself was a lot more mellow than the twosome thought it would be, much to Drake's disappointment. There were no pits to be spoken of. The terrain was mostly flat aside from some bumpy parts and some machinery in the way at points. At a couple points, Andrew and Drake had to swing on girders using Drake's bladed chain to cross pits of broken equipment, w/ some leading to a grind rail. As for new weapons for Drake, the monster form had a dagger. The human one got a short-ranged flamethrower that could be used while running. As for enemies, they were these deceptively cute little ghost-like things w/ small tools and hardhats. While Alter was charmed by these things, at first, that quickly faded as it turned out, the buggers were ruthless! They could throw their weapons fast and respawn them just as quick! Eventually, though, the twosome reached a roadblock. There was a pile of girders blocking the way. Andrew and Drake considered climbing over, but each realized that beams would collapse if they did. While Drake would've been down for that, he chose not to for fear of getting Andrew hurt or killed.
(Gasper and Gwen)
The terrain ended up being a bit trickier for the siblings. For one, they couldn't dash, so that made jumps all the tighter. For another, their only reliable method for getting across pits was Gwen's umbrellas. But even then, they only barely made it across. As for the enemies, thankfully, the umbrella blocked most damage. Plus, Gasper's shurikens were able to easily snipe them. Eventually, though, the siblings reached a magnet crane w/ a sleeping worker. When they looked in the foreground, the siblings noticed that Andrew and Drake were stuck in front of girders. Alarmed, Gwen went to wake the worker.
"Um, sir? Sir!"
The worker then snorted awake.
"Huh-what?" she asked.
"Hi, sorry to bother you, but could you move the girders away?" Gwen asked politely. "My friends are trying to get rid of a problem here, but they can't through."
The worker nodded and started the crane. After a bit, the girders flew up to the magnets as Andrew jumped back. As for Drake, he got smacked in the face by a couple of them!
(Andrew and Drake)
"Are you...ok?" Andrew asked lamely.
Drake, rather than answer, turned to the side and spat out a copious amount of blood. Much to Andrew's usual horror.
"...Doesn't matter..." Drake said.
As Drake moved forward, Andrew noticed Alter shuddering at the blood. When Andrew moved ahead, he saw... two broken teeth.
Crap... as if he hasn't lost enough! Andrew thought.
After making their way forward, the twosome finally reached the boss, and Andrew's jaw dropped like a bombshell. There, a few feet away, was his grandpa. His expression was stoic, and he had bits of black covering him that wasn't his skin. In front of him, there was a black, blue, and red jackhammer.
Why?! Andrew thought.
"Grandpa?"
"...Cedric...?" Drake asked.
Andrew looked up at him.
"No, Drake, that's my grandfather, Patrick!" Andrew said.
Drake gave him a confused look.
Huh, could've fooled me if it hadn't been for the eyes, said Alter.
This was because Grandpa Patrick had a red right eye and left blue eye. Patrick then lifted the jackhammer and pointed the end at the twosome.
"Grandpa, snap out of it!" Andrew shouted, "It's me, your grandchild Andrew!"
Patrick didn't waver. Drake readied his weapon of choice. Andrew, w/ a shadow falling over his eyes, materialized his blasters.
FIGHT START!
(Song: Collision of Thunderstorms from Azure Striker Gunvolt)
The fight itself was pretty dang hard, both physically and emotionally! Patrick rushed around the area, firing white lightning blasts from his jackhammer while also swinging it! He also peppered the place w/ white bombs that made small explosions. As for mobility, he double jumped, air dashed, hovered, etc. As a result of all this, Andrew and Drake had a rough time defeating the possessed grandpa! While Drake's shield technique and Andrew's green pan helped block some of the attacks, it still wasn't enough. The most that the twosome could do in retaliation is take potshots w/ different weapons! Eventually, though, the boss was finally done for at 1%! (Good thing too, because Andrew was at 33% whereas Drake was at 20%)!
VICTORY!
A black substance oozed out of Patrick. Once it was done, it vanished while Andrew flipped it off, much to Drake and Alter's shock. Suddenly, some red and blue energy flew out of Patrick and flew into Drake. After that was all done, Patrick slowly rose.
"Hello?" he asked groggily.
"Grandpa!" Andrew shouted happily.
He then tackled Patrick in a big hug, which the latter returned.
"Oh, hey there, buddy," said Patrick w/ a smile.
Patrick then looked over to Drake and Alter.
"Um, who are they?" Patrick asked while pointing at the two behind Andrew.
Andrew looked to where his grandpa pointed.
"Oh, those are just my friends, Drake and Alter."
Patrick gave him a look.
"Uh, not to be rude, but..."
He leaned in a bit.
"Are you sure they're not street bums?" Pat whispered.
Andrew giggled.
"No, they're not bums."
"You really know how to pick 'em, don'tcha?" Patrick asked.
Andrew nodded. Patrick sighed.
"Btw, why are you on Earth?" Andrew asked.
Patrick smiled.
"You step-grandma and I chose to move out of hell. The reason why is because that place honestly got kinda boring to us, and we wanted a change of scenery."
Andrew smiled at that. As for Drake, he didn't know why, but he felt strangely... unhappy as he saw Patrick and Andrew hugging.
It must feel nice to have someone who loves you... Alter said quietly.
Drake slowly nodded. After a bit, Andrew walked back over.
"Time to go," he said.
Drake looked over to Patrick.
"...Isn't... he coming...?"
Andrew shook his head.
"No, he's going to stay behind and clean up his mess. Besides, he works here," Andrew explained.
Drake sighed and slowly grabbed Andrew's shoulder. As Patrick waved, Andrew twitched his tail, and the twosome disappeared. On the other side, they found Gwen and Gasper laughing w/ Geoff.
"Heya," said Andrew while moving forward.
The siblings looked at him and sighed w/ sad looks.
"Dammit, we gotta go," Gasper said.
Geoff then pulled out a piece of paper, wrote on it, and handed it to his cousins. He also pulled out some money.
"To keep in touch," Geoff said as he handed over the paper to Gwen.
Gwen smiled while Gasper gave a small smirk.
"And now for the compensation."
Geoff then handed the money to the quadrio. Drake, as per usual, gave his to Andrew.
"$20?" Andrew asked.
"Yeah," said Geoff.
Andrew shrugged and held out his hands. After the siblings grabbed them, and Drake grabbed the right shoulder, Geoff waved.
"I'll call you later," Geoff said to his cousins.
As the siblings smiled and Drake wheezily sighed, Andrew twitched his tail, and the group disappeared.

How'd you feel about it being basically an older version of Cedric's design?
Not really. How'd you feel about Drake being jealous of Andrew and Patrick's love?
