Lately MeTV has started airing classic theatrical shorts from WarnerMedia's library, including the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies, Tom and Jerry and the other MGM classics, and Popeye and the occasional Betty Boop short. In addition to a three-hour block on Saturday mornings (thus effectively bringing Saturday morning cartoons back to broadcast TV!) they also air a one-hour block, "Toon In With Me," hosted by Bill Leff and his puppet friend Toony the Tuna (in an intentional throwback to those old kiddie cartoon shows.) They made it look like the ACME Hour entirely consisted of Looney Tunes cartoons, including popular favorites like Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, a lot like their "Bugs and Daffy" hour-long block airing on weekdays during that time. The promo I linked even had the instrumental version of "This Is It" normally heard during the opening and closing to CN's "The Looney Tunes Show" weekend morning blocks from 2001-2003 playing during the ACME Hour plug! Talk about false advertising... almost like the kind of false advertising ACME seemed to pull off!
