Forgotten Voices/Amber Winds
This is a live mix I did last night with two tape recorders, the integrated effects on my mixer, a tiny radio I got at a dollar store, my VolcaBASS, and no computer. I was experimenting with creating an ambient track by slowing one of my tape recorders the only way that is possible; recording from somewhere else onto it while holding the pause button just barely to a point where it can't pause, but it speeds the motor up, causing the recorded audio to slow down when you release it.
The wind effects in the "second chapter" are created by taking radio static recorded to tape and using the same trick I used to slow down the VolcaBASS recording.
Let me know what you think! I intend to do some more experimental ambient live-mixes over the upcoming days, and maybe I'll finally be able to make a full album, too! I'll likely work on my website for music today, so I can give full-24-bit-float WAV files instead of 270kbps MP3s.
The cover image is a photo of some graffiti I took in an abandoned coal car rain cover thing in the woods in the middle of nowhere with some photo effects on it.

My favorite part of this whole thing starts around 4:40, that's where I'd say "Amber Winds" would likely start up.
