You're overreacting as much as the people you claim to be upset by. She had a rack in the original, and of a modest size. Going from modest size to, at least seemingly, no size is bothersome to some people. It's silly to get legitimately upset over it, since it's just a kids movie, but nothing wrong with people who are rolling their eyes over an unnecessary change by pearl clutching busybodies.
