Finally a new ongoing Z.O.M.P. story, this one being a 20$ commission job for Lordjord99
In this story a new and much more contagious version of the "Night Howlers" are being spread across Zootopia, and it's up to the Z.O.M.P. crew to try and solve it!

All fictional characters seen here belongs to their respective owners.
It had all stared as a nightmare in many prey's eyes.
All of the sudden certain animals in Zootopia was starting to act out like savaged beasts, with the intent of eating and killing any smaller prey animals they could find!
Was this what all those 100s and 1000s of years of evolution had lead to? For prey animals to once more fear for their lives, and be constantly on the run from hungry preds?
Luckily police officer Judy Hopps along with professional hustler Nick Wilde was able to find out the truth about the sudden cases of savage predators (It being the result of a chemical drug created from a type of flower called "Night Howlers"), and was able to put an end to this brief window of terror plaguing the big city.
After these couple of months of horrors and uncertainties the city of Zootopia could finally return to normal...
"This just in! Today another 20 cases of predators depicting 'Night Howler' syndromes were reported."
The news was being read by news anchor Fabienne Growley, a female Snow Leopard who has been one of the most well known faces in reporting news fact in Zootopia. (And also one of the most trusted faces from the predator world, in the eyes of prey animals.)
"This means that by now up to 15 percent of predators of Zootopia's population has been infected by this ongoing pandemic, which authorities still has no idea on how it got started in the first place."
"Thankfully the number of reported 'incidents' has been extremely few, as most predators has been taking precaution and sought for medical help upon feeling the first signs of being infected by this potentially deadly virus, before risking...hurting...any "groan" preys..."
Fabienne could then be seen placing one paw against her head, as the pains she was feeling was really starting to become to much.
"Uhm, Fabienne? Are you feeling alright?" The ones in the control room was asking the news anchor into her ear piece, which only added more annoyance for her head to handle.
"I'm fine..." The snow leopard lady was heard saying, as she was trying to focus on finishing reading the news for the city.
That's when she suddenly felt her mind flip for just a mere moment, as Fabienne's eyes locked into the camera and she let out what sounded like a threatening snarl towards the one standing behind it!
Just as suddenly as it started it also ended, as everyone watching could see how the eyes of Fabienne immediately went back into looking normal, and a face of pure shock and regret started to be formed instead.
Covering up her open mouth at first Fabienne then removed her paw slowly, as she just remained silent for what felt like a super long time. (But in reality was just like 5 to 10 seconds.)
Knowing fully well what she had done in front of the camera Fabienne looked directly into the camera before then saying, "I'm so very sorry that you have to see that...side of me. It's very clear that I am also affect by this, and I will immediately do what is most needed of me, and place myself into quarantine for everyone's safety."
"As for the upcoming 6 o'clock news, they will be read by my trusted colleague Peter Mossebridge, who will also take over for me until there is a cure for this."
"This is Fabienne Growley signing out, and I could only hope that by tomorrow things will look more hopeful for Zootopia."
Sadly things was in an even worse state now, then it had been during the last time the night howlers had been causing chaos.
For one the number of cases had both been out growing and exploded in population compared to last time.
For the second without any real idea on how the night howlers was being spread, it was near impossible to keep predators and preys together without risking one of them suddenly turning savaged.
And finally (and the over all biggest issue of them all) these versions of the night howler drugs wasn't the same as the last one, meaning that any potential vaccines would take way longer to be made, without knowing the chemical formula it was all built on.
Because of these different factors there had been 100s of confirmed cases of predators catching this disease, which unlike last time didn't directly turned someone wild and crazy, but instead slowly turned their minds into going completely feral.
At first many of the predators was being treated at the Zootopian hospital, before then being forced over to the Z.P.D. and placed in a cell once their condition was turning to dangerous.
Eventually there was so many cases that they started putting them into iron cages like wild beasts, since at that point there wasn't anything really "civilized" about them anymore.
The real sad part was that no predatory animal was really safe from this, not even if they were part of one of the most tightest all female groups.
Gathering together was 3 out of the 4 members of Z.O.M.P. which was a self-made team consisting of an all female mix of prey and predator animals. (Along with them all also being very overweight versions of their species, making them almost like 4 Clawhauser's working together.)
There was Judy Hopps, the bunny rabbit known long before as the first ever prey to join the police force, and unofficial leader of the team.
Then there was the one in the team simply known as Tigress, who was the muscles (Or rather, muscle-gut) of the group, and known for always going head on in any conflicts faced.
Finally there was Gloria the hippopotamus, by far the tallest and most heavy weight gal in the group, and also the one who happen to have some "contacts" which was almost always very reliable in fishing out secret info to help them on their missions.
Part of the team was also a big panda girl named Penny Ling, who sadly wasn't with the rest of the team as they had their private meeting.
"I can't believe such a sweet girl could fall victim to something as nasty as this." Gloria said with her head hanging pretty low.
"She's a predator animal, just like us two. It doesn't matter how 'nice' you are, since this thing doesn't pick after one's morals." Tigress responded in her very typical stern and yet very honest way.
"When Nick and I took down Bellwether during that last time, I REALLY wished I would never experience seeing predators behave like this again." Judy told the two, feeling almost like her past efforts had been for nothing.
"The real issue is that we got nothing to go after. No suspects on who's behind it, what formula was made to create it, or from what location the main lab is even in!" Tigress said frustrated, as she truly hated to feel completely powerless to do anything to avenge her infected friend.
That's when Gloria surprised her two colleagues by leaning in closer and whispering to the two, "I might have figured out an answer to that very last part."
"You have?!" Both Judy and Tigress asked surprised, as Gloria started to recall some recent events that had made a huge breakthrough for her.
"I was part of a raiding squad who just a few days ago was sent to a location, in which a potential night howlers lab was being operating and making samples. Despite our best efforts to take them by surprises the crooks inside got news about our arrival, and ended up destroying the place and escaping before we could arrest anyone. Only one member of the group stayed behind, but inserted a syringe of the night howler serum into himself as we broke in, leading to him becoming feral a lot faster then in other cases. Once my colleagues managed to hit him with enough tranquilizer darts to put him to rest we searched the place, and that's when I discovered this!"
Gloria then held up a torn piece of paper, which only had two words on it that was still fully visible to read that said, "THE CAGE" on it.
"The cage? What's that?" Judy asked unsure, as both Gloria and Tigress seemed to have a pretty good idea on the meaning behind the name.
"There exist this all female maximum security prison located outside of town which has been given the local name 'the cage', due to how rumours has it there is barley any sort of rules being followed, and how the prisoners are mostly running the place." Tigress explained, making Judy a bit surprised she was never informed about such a extreme facility existing so close by. (Probably for good reasons also, she assumed.)
"Not only that, but if the cage really is the source location to where this new version of the night howlers are from, then I might even know who is the one to have cracked the code in making them." Gloria said, having her two friends naturally asking her on who that might be.
"Her name is Zira, and she's a very cunning and ruthless lioness, with a greater knowledge in chemistry." The hippo cop explained. "After a series of missing animals cases my squad and I finally had it all leading back to her, and what we found out was that she had been using the kidnapped citizens as test subject for her mind changing drugs! I remember what I saw back then to be super similar to the type of aggressive behaviour that we see predators having now. I personally was the one the put the handcuffs onto her, and later having her dragged into court where she was being sentenced to spent the rest of her days locked away at the cage."
"And now you think that Zira somehow obtained the formula for making night howlers, and has created this new stronger version of it?" Judy asked Gloria, who responded "If I'm wrong on this then I will personally throw my badge in, and instead start a new career as a plus-sized stripper and pole dancer!"
Understanding how seriously Gloria was on this trace Tigress asked the natural question, "Then why don't we show Bogo this, and send the whole Z.P.D. to that place and presses her on making an antidote?!"
"Cause we can't prove much with this single piece of paper has any real connection to the prison, much less Zira." Gloria explained. "It is still just a theory, but it is a theory that I believe really strongly in can't simply be a coincident. There is just to much on this pointing at Zira being the most likely brains behind this."
"So what do you suggest we do in order to find the needed proof of Zira being the mastermind behind it all?" Judy asked, as Gloria suggested "We have to send two of us to go undercover into the cage to learn what Zira's next step is going to be, and I suggest it would be you two doing it."
Once again both Judy and Tigress got slightly surprised by what Gloria had to say, as they asked why just they had to be the ones doing it?
"Since I was the one making sure Zira got put away the last time, I'm pretty sure she would never forget my face, even if I switched my uniform for an orange jumpsuit." Gloria explained, which did seem to make a lot of sense to her two friends.
"I'm not saying that your idea is bad or anything, but I don't know if I can do something like this without risking to...hurt Judy in any way. If you know what I mean?" Tigress said with a great deal of concern in her voice, clearly knowing that friendship didn't mean anything if she suddenly found her mind starting to get taken over by the night howler virus.
Gloria fully understood Tigress's worries, but told her that she thought that once inside the cage she would have very little to no risk of getting affected.
"If anything I think you will run a minimum chance at getting affected once inside those walls, since I don't think Zira would win anything at spreading the decease there, when it is Zootopia that is her main target." Gloria said, which both Tigress and Judy did agree made a lot of sense.
"So if this is the plan, what roles do you suggest we take?" Judy asked Gloria, who pointed at the two and said, "It would make most sense to have Tigress arrive undercover as a newly sentenced inmate for the cage, and Judy following her as a new guard sent to help try and bring some more order to the place."
Feeling pretty confident in their roles both Tigress and Judy started to get themselves a slight change in wardrobe, while Gloria was taking her time working up some convincing looking paperwork for Judy to she Tigress being a new inmate, and she being the place's new guard.
With their secret operation now set in place Gloria "borrowed" an armoured truck from the police station, to drive her two friends out of town and towards "The Cage" for their undercover work.
Once at the gates she had Judy and Tigress to drop off, before then driving away and hoping that she wasn't leaving her friends in a death trap.
Walking up to the main gates both Judy and Tigress couldn't help but snicker a bit over how badly fit their outfits was at certain areas (In Judy's case her butt, while Tigress had her chest), showing that both most uniforms and jumpsuits wasn't built for such plus-sized gals.
After showing the guards the papers on Tigress being a real prisoner and she a real guard they where both being let inside, and once they heard those doors locking behind them, they both knew there was no turning back now!

Interesting beginning. Perhaps the ZOMP team won't be the fattest or the strongest in the Cage? Also I hope Penny Ling appears. Her belly centered figure and belly centered fighting style are my favorites.
Me and my commissioner also Aina for having her playing an important part in this. 😉
Want all four girls to be helpful, if possible.
