Despite the boundless power of an arkkins ability to create and destroy an encounter with one removes any potential danger when venturing into an Ark. To be in the presence of an Arkkins "domain" means to become one with the creature and the environment. For an arkkin to harm a traveler means for it to harm itself and vice versa; thus, the creature—benevolent or otherwise—avoids causing sapient travelers harm.
The exception is that only creatures with no consciousness or level of empathy are cut off from the Arkkins transcendent empathic connection and are more likely to be in danger if the creature chooses to be hostile. Because of this exception, this arkkins anchor or its physical form separated from its boundless metaphysical aspect exclusively feeds on the abominations and demons present in extremely hostile Arks. Within its confined space, only contained by the proximity to souls' pain and strife, the arkkin creates its own infinite pockets within finite spaces.
Creatures born in Arks know this well and are usually unaffected by the presence of such creatures, Though often particular Arkkin enjoy playing with spaces to toy with creatures living within their domain.

My second illustration. This one was a pain in my ass, my GPU can not handle moving around the scene. I will probably avoid stuff this complex until I can upgrade 100 years from now when GPUs are available. I would love to hear your thoughts! I really hope you enjoy this illustration and accompanying lore.
