The shep might not be the best listener, but he finds himself transfixed by the fox's enthusiasm for the day. Always being the meticulous planner, it's easy for the fox to get wrapped up in different topics. For the shep, it's like falling in love all over again.

The Shep is there thinking "I want to tell him it is just the ocean man, it is like that all the time, but then he would not be nearly as cute. This is far too adorable to interrupt"
sweet shapes on the faces and I like how you handled the fur tuffs on the foxes neck and jaw!
This whole little series is beautiful :)
Maybe someday I'll have someone who looks at me like that shep looks at that fox. I imagine it would be nice. For now... I simply admire that someone else, however imaginary, has done better than I have, and in one of the most touching and heartwarming ways possible.

I dunno how I missed this for 2 years...wow. The shep's expression is a m a z i n g. These two are such a cute couple in this piece and the others. Love the fox's zingy enthusiasm and his expression. But the look on the shep's face here...daaaaamn. You so nailed it. I wish I had that look on my face for someone.
