Name: Reinfred Richwater
Ordained name: Reinfred of the Lake
Age: 36
Height: 175cm or 5.7 feet
Weight: 82kg
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Green
Occupation: Knight under direct service to the King
Reinfred was born in a family of very poor countryfolk. His father was pig breeder and a violent drunkard and his mother died very early in his childhood, not much is known about her except that she was found in a ditch, having been strangled and beaten to death. Rumours circulated that her husband had something to do with it but nothing ever came of the investigation as the local constables never cared enough to find out. Reinfred was beaten and abused by his father throughout most of his childhood, living in constant terror until one day, a Knight who was passing through the village, witnessed him being kicked and punched almost to death by his father and so the Knight ran the man through with his sword, eventually adopting the boy who had been left homeless and an orphan.
The Knight raised him with a strict militaristic education and taught him every skill he would need to qualify for knighthood. The only way a commoner could do that however was to show great valour in battle and so beginning at the age of 16 Reinfred enlisted in the army and began his long journey up the ranks, participating in many battles and operating brilliantly throughout.
His martial prowess eventually attracted the attention of the King himself, who developed a peculiar obsession with this sad-eyed man. He was ordained into Knighthood soon after and continued to perform expectionally well. Rumours floated that Reinfred had dwarf blood in him because of his unnatural strength and stamina. Stories were told of how Reinfred had fought in battle for three days straight until he finally collapsed under the weight of his own armor, his entire body covered with the blood and offal of the innumerable enemies he had slain.
Despire all his decorations Reinfred however was a lonely and disturbed man, having no friends or relationships, and hardly talking to anybody, including his adoptive father. The continous advances of the King towards him had also had a negative effect on his mind so that whispers spoke of how he was a powderkeg ready to explode. Among the criticisms and poisoned words he was already receiving for being a commoner made Knight.
This all changed however when Reinfred met the Orc Garak, a meeting that would change the course of his life forever.
