Pokemon White Rainbow Run
Who's your favorite?
We just finished Pokemon White with the "Rainbow Run" ruleset. These are rules made by my friend Mekattak and I HAD to do a game with em. Rules at the end if you want to have a go at it! Our game was really compelling honestly. Pretty smooth for the most part and our team got personalities along the way. Most of them I had never used before. But when we hit a snag it was a huge knot and we were stuck for hours. The challenge is really good for a casual game as its not much of a challenge most of the run with moments of extreme thought and preplanning strewed throughout. Not forcing you to use 100% of your brain all the time like some challenge rules out there.
The next game in our adventure series is Owlboy! We are a mute boy who can fly and carries their friends around to help them accomplish tasks. Should be a fun wholesome experience~ Stop on by the Twitch streams if you want to see what we got going on! https://www.twitch.tv/zaezar

Rainbow Run Rules: If you want to try em out yourself~
1) Your team HAS to be in rainbow order (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple). This includes any HM Pokemon you have.
2) You cannot swap your team in battle whatsoever. The prior Pokemon has to faint in order to move to the next one.
3) Black/White is one slot and can be at the beginning or end of the order.
4) No duplicates of any color allowed. Even different species.
Other stuff to keep in mind:
- You can have any Pokemon LEAD the team but the rest follow suit. For example, Blue can be in the lead but the rest is then purple, white/black, red, yellow, orange, green.
- If your Pokemon are swapped forcefully you have to swap back immediately even if that means they die. Same goes for using revives. You have to keep the order if they're alive.
- We treated brown as the orange slot due to brown just being unsaturated orange (and orange/yellow was highly contested in our game).
- The Pokedex colors are not actually very good and you can ignore them and go with your instincts on it. Druddigon is "red" in the dex even though it's 80% blue.
