Some days you are happy, some days you are mad, and other days you are sad. All emotions, even the sad ones are important. You need a healthy balance of each and some days it's just healthy to cry so that you can move past your strife.
Don't ever be afraid to cry. each emotion is important to keep a healthy balance of. Without sadness there can't be happiness as sadness lets us reflect on what makes us sad in contrast to what makes us happy. It's essential for us to grow and improve ourselves and our life.
Just remember that even on days where you are sad, there will be a ray of happiness to cheer you back up eventually. be that friends, family, games, and more. No emotion is truly 100% bad, they just need the proper moderation.

Being able to release that emotion is a good skill to learn, for sure. With me, I spent a good long while wanting to have that sorta emotional release but not knowing how.

For me I know if I want to cry there's a few sad movies I can watch to help with that. But we are all different and have our own way to release these emotions.
