A more medieval style griffin. I enjoy their long, curving necks.
Still playing with my paper and paint. This is the first time I tried out water soluble oil paint and I love them.

Interesting. Where do you get those kinds of paints? I'd like to try it out for myself.
Lovely, fierce, wild. And with a name like Ptthalo, he or she'd have to be blue, no?
I love those blues!
Water mixable oils are a lot of fun to work with. I'm still learning my way around them, but I fell in love with them just about instantly. :)

He reminds me of Pete from House Pets. Just more awesome looking.

Eeee, pthalo green AND pthalo blue! Pthalo green is one of the most underappreciated colors in painting, I swear, it's just so gorgeous. And Pthalo blue is one of my fave blues! So, naturally, I approve of and adore this :)
My little cake of phthalo blue intimidates me. It's almost black when dry and is so rich and vibrant when it kisses my paper. I'm not sure I really know what to do with it. It's really an incredible color.
