i've never been particularly familiar with final fantasy but that doesn't stop me from finding this piece gorgeous. i absolutely love how you handled atmosphere/depth.

I'm glad I learned about atmospheric perspective just so I could appreciate this piece more.

FFIX was my favorite of the FF games, mostly because of the feel of the environments, especially the cities... And this really captured what I like about it.

Also, are you a fan of FFT? The shape of their bodies (especially Fratley) reminds me of some of the art from that game. Was wondering if that was intentional/inspired or a coincidence. :o

You did an exceptional job on this as you did a really beautiful job on the sense of detail to the background (as well as a sense of fade for the buildings in the distance). The coloring turned out really nicely and the sense of life and emotion to the piece turned out wonderfully as well. This is some pretty good stuff here, excellent work on this.
