Hey, Homecoming fans!
It's been a long time coming, and I would like to apologize for just how long it's taken. With how things have been going with my health, including numerous hospital visits, I've had to resign from the job that I loved. However, I'm pleased to announce that we've finally made it to the next build.
In this version, both Day 10 and Day 11 have had all their events completed, some of which had to either be written entirely from scratch, or completely rewritten. As we are starting to progress further into Act 2, many of the decisions made earlier in the game will start bearing fruit, providing you continue to make the correct choices. Day 10 starts out in a rather interesting way, but I won't spoil what that is.
Once again, I have also made new changes to the UI and settings. In the past, fans had asked me if there was a way to determine when a character's romantic interest was affected by a choice. While we did introduce a cue similar to the Telltale games, I have decided to provide an additional indicator. When you make a decision that positively affects that character, a small indicator showing that character will appear, with a green arrow pointing upward showing beside it. Likewise, any decisions that have a negative impact will do the same, but with a red arrow pointing downward. Furthermore, any character who you completely lose as a love interest through your actions (or inactions) will be indicated with a black and white version of their indicator, with a shattered glass overlay. Also, while there aren't currently many instances where this can happen, starting from Day 11, it is now possible for events that have a positive impact on one character to have a negative impact on another.
Additionally, it has come to my attention that many people were taken aback by certain events requiring QTE input. The biggest example is Kouya's event on Day 4. From now on, certain events that require things to be done within a time limit will automatically have a message appear beforehand to advise what needs to be done. Please be advised that this will not be applied to all events of this type, and you can freely enable/disable this feature in the Preferences menu.
You may also have noticed there are version numbers missing between build releases. This is to move the iOS build into sync with all other builds. At any rate, I hope you enjoy Demo 6.5, and I would like to thank you for your continued patience and support.
Finally, I would like to announce that we have something big planned for the next build release. As for what it is, I'm not at liberty to say, but I can assure you, it may exceed expectations. Please look forward to it.
