Mob Mentality Preview: The Redraw
Mob Mentality production has been good the past few weeks (chapter one preview soon™).
I've redrawn earlier pieces for the sake of consistency (rampant psychosis). It's interesting to look back and see how characters and styles evolve over time, hopefully for the better!
As you can see, Gwen's design arc is mostly her getting taller and fluffier. Albert's stayed pretty consistent, he's slimmed down and his hat keeps growing, but was otherwise peak male performance from the start.
For the uninitiated, Mob Mentality is an illustrated story about an aspiring monster hunter named Albert, and a less-than-bloodthirsty werewolf named Guenevere (Gwen for short). Both are incredibly unsuited for their careers, for varying reasons, and proceed to utterly bung up their first night on the job. It's a tale of men, monsters, and all the paperwork that comes between them. There's also a drunken mob, an unusually chipper hunchback, and a very, very, intense vampire.
Shill Corner: my twitter for memes, sketches, and dumb stuff, and the patreon that goes directly to figuring out ways to draw gwen/albert's hat bigger.

I had no idea that there was this bizarre bureaucratic edge to the worldbuilding of this tale here.
I love it

Well, werewolves are something different from demons, typically lol
He's cringe and that's based.
He'll never be based and that's not cringe.

"Guenevere"? I thought her full name was still Gwen but with the finished -evere part to it. Now I can't even spell it how I used to...
I mean maybe it can be ():
TIME FOR A PATREON POLL

Do that and people will pic the shitpost option.

I dig their new looks, but at this rate it's only a matter of time before their designs inevitably reach their ultimate forms and the two of them end up as a giant top hat with two skinny legs sticking out from under the brim and an enormous powder puff with great big paws.
And to think, Gwen was barely a footnote in the original story, are you going to rename that one the "The Uncanon Advertures of Albert before I got a Brain and Realized Albert Should Kiss the Werewolf" after you post the remastered directors cut unrated edition?
I'm super excited to see you finish this and then post it all over the internets :V

"AND WHEN GWEN'S NOT ON THE PAGE EVERYONE SHOULD BE ASKING 'WHERE'S GWEN?'"
It's weird going back and reading the OG text. Gwen has a hair braid AND a bow and who knows what else, and there's no mention of Albert having any headwear whatsoever. Truly this is the TLC the concept and characters deserve.

Werewolf bureaucracy is exactly the kind of content the world needs, very excited for this
Mob Mentality slows becomes less hypothetical!
