Ghost hunting is one of the best hobbies that these five friends have ever loved. They were like the mystery gang, but way fluffier and furrier, except for one who’s a human. They were inside a grey van with a sign on the side that says “Ghost Investigators”. It looked like someone spray painted the words and didn’t even bother to make it look neat as the black paint slowly dropped down. But who were these five friends that were driving a badly painted van? The first friend was the driver of the van, Haedon. He’s the only human on the team and has knowledge of speaking to the spirits. He was wearing a blue t-shirt and some blue jeans. He also had glasses on which made him dorky. The second friend, sitting next to Haedon was Tyler the typhlosion. He’s actually a balloon with knots on his navel and tails. He was the cameraman and responsible for setting them up. Right next to Tyler was the only female on the team, Sarah the bee. She’s known for checking temperatures and spotting freezing degrees. So basically it was like using an EMP, locating the ghost. The two furs in the back were sitting right in front of each other. The rabbit was Jacob. He’s the coward in the team and is the first to run away. The only reason why he’s doing this is because they told him it would be fun. They also pick on him for being scared. He was wearing a purple jacket and blue jeans that were a bit loose on him because he was a very skinny bunny. Then finally there’s Shawn, the team’s canine ghost seeker. He uses his sniffer to find the ghost and barks (or tells the team because he can talk) their location in case the thermometers or EMPs weren’t working. Shawn is the only one on the team who loves to eat food. He’s a bit chubby but at least they give him the best belly rubs after ghost hunts. Driving on a stormy night, the bumps on the road were making Jacob and Shawn bounce around. It was jiggling the dog’s fat belly. “Sorry about that you guys back there, the road is extra bumpy today.” Haedon said, checking the GPS.
Jacob groaned. He had an extremely large amount of butterflies in his stomach as he saw the mansion approach. Apparently it used to be owned by an eccentric actor before he died twelve years ago.
“What’s wrong?” Shawn asked him quietly, stuffing himself with a chocolate bar. The small bunny pointed out the window and looked down, terribly frightened of the adventure that could be coming. Jacob was very obviously the runt of the litter as he was very often made fun of for his size and his fear. Shawn looked at him and smiled, chuckling slightly (which Jacob responded with a frown). “You’ll be fine.”
“You sure?” The bun asked, twiddling his fingers. The German shepherd nodded as the van went through the gates.
Haedon parks the van in front of the abandoned mansion. It’s windows were boarded up, walls covered with moss and cracks, the steps to the door were missing a few pieces, and had this eerily feeling that something scary was in there. That is what they, besides Jacob, love about ghost hunting. “Alright guys, ready to find something cool?” He asks his friends.
“You bet.” Sarah said, happily getting out of the van, followed by Tyler. “Hey Tyler, make sure you get the cameras.”
“As usual.” Tyler calmly says, going into the back to grab the equipment. Shawn hops off from the van, chocolate all over his face. “Shawn, have you been eating chocolate again?” Tyler asks, a bit happy to see the dog eating fatty things as if he wanted the dog to gain more weight.
Shawn growls softly at him. “I can eat chocolate whenever I want. I just hope that they have food inside.”
Because of that, Tyler laughs. “As if an abandoned house would have any food inside.” He takes out the suitcases which include the equipment. Jacob slowly got out of the van, starting to regret this decision of coming with them. “Can you move out of the way?” He asks Jacob who gives out a little huff and does as he asked. “Thanks.” He carries the suitcases with him, a bit heavy but he can handle it. “So how come this place was at the top of your list, Haedon?” He asks Haedon with curiosity.
“Oh, I just wanna see a mansion up close. That’s all.” Haedon explains, slightly.
“I hope you aren’t planning to buy it.” Sarah jokes.
“I wish. I bet it would be above all our paychecks combined.” On the front steps, Haedon puts his hand on the doorknob. He tries to twist it, but finds out that it’s locked. “It’s locked.” After a few seconds, he could feel the temperature on the handle getting colder. It was freezing cold like they were in a freezer. “Oh wow. This doorknob is cold.” He exclaims, letting go of the doorknob.
All five of them heard the sound of the keys jiggling from the other side before the lock began to click. The door opens, revealing a husky wearing an old-fashioned suit. “What took you guys so long?” He smirks.
“Hey Arthur. Sorry about the long wait, we had a traffic problem down the highway.” Haedon chuckles as he and the others bring in the equipment and enter the mansion. Arthur is also their friend but he doesn’t ghost hunt, he just finds a good place for the rest of the crew to stay. “So, where are we staying?”
“The master bedroom. It’s a big space and I already put your sleeping bags there.” Arthur says, taking the gang up to the master bedroom. Up the creaking stairs, the gang turned on their flashlights and looked around the hall before going upstairs. The master bedroom was down the hall as they could see the huge dusty bed.
“That bed looks so comfy.” Sarah said sarcastically.
“Yeah, I doubt the last owners thought that they weren’t going to regret buying a large expensive bed before they moved out.” Haedon said after her. In the bedroom, there were four sleeping bags and a doggy bed on the floor.
Shawn goes to his bed, testing out if it’s comfy. Laying down for a few seconds, he gets up and goes over to Haedon’s. “Hmm. Are you a snuggle kind of guy?”
“I don’t know if I would be in the mood to snuggle with an obese dog.” He jokes, making Shawn huff and softly growl. “Relax Shawn, it’s just a joke.”
“I know. But my belly says that you’ll be my dinner if you make fun of my weight again.” He then turns his fat rear towards him and goes back to his bed.
Jacob leans towards my face. “Does he actually eat people?” He whispers in my ear, sounding very worried.
“Absolutely, he eats people like us as regular meals.” Haedon plays around with him as the poor rabbit shivered in fear.
“So where are you guys going to find this ghost?” Arthur asks.
“Well depending on what our tools tell us.” In the suitcases, Haedon pulls out some EMPs and temperature readers. “These will help us find where the ghost is hiding.” He gives each besides Shawn a temperature reader and an EMP. “We’ll split up into three groups. Me and Tyler will stick together.” He then points at Shawn. “You’ll stay with Jacob and make sure he doesn’t chicken out.” Jacob grumbles and Shawn salutes with his front leg. Haedon points at Arthur. “And finally you and Sarah will stay together.”
“But where do we go?” Sarah asks.
“You two can start here on the second floor. Tyler and I will go to the living room on the first floor and the rabbit and the dog can take the basement.” Haedon plans out.
“Now how come I have to take the basement?” Jacob complains, not liking the idea very much.
“What’s the matter bunny rabbit, afraid that someone will drag you to your doom?” Shawn messes around with him.
“Shut up! I’m not afraid!” He shouts at the german shepherd in anger.
“Then get your bunny butt moving then, mister not afraid of any basements.” Tyler grabs Jacob’s hand as he, the bunny, Shawn, and Haedon leave the room. With the door shut, Sarah and Arthur look at each other like they have no idea what just happened.
“Well then, ready to go ghost hunting?” Arthur says, turning on his equipment.
“Sounds good.” Sarah turns on her things and the two get out of the room and begin their investigation. In the hall, they point their equipment all over the walls, floor, ceiling, and the doors. “Here, I’ll go in here and you can be in the next room. We’ll shout if we catch something.” Sarah opens the door.
“I like that idea.” So Arthur goes to the door next to the one Sarah opens. The two entered different rooms and made sure to close the door behind them. Inside, Sarah looks around and realizes that she is in some sort of guest bedroom. There was a single bed inside that made her believe so. It didn’t have a mattress and the wood was old and rotten. Who knows how long this bed has been here for? She then shakes her head to get back to work and uses her temperature reader to get a cold reading. Sarah starts off at the wall on the left, the one that’s away from the wall that’s connected to the room Arthur is in. The tempature in there wasn’t freezing, more like average. But as she gets closer to the other wall, the one connected to the other room, the numbers begin to drop. As she got closer and closer to the wall, it was almost below freezing. So that would mean that the ghost could be in the other room, with Arthur in it. Before she could do anything else, something crashed from the other side of the room like a vase. “Arthur, are you okay in there?” She called out to him but the husky didn’t reply back. Maybe the wall was soundproof, she thought. So Sarah the bee walks out of the room and knocks on the door. “Hey Arthur? The ghost might be in the room you are in, did your temperature reading go below zero?” Again, there was nothing. Now Sarah was starting to get worried. A few seconds later, she heard this crying muffle from the other side of the door. “Arthur?” She opens the door slowly, her mouth drops to the floor with a gasp. “Arthur!?”
All Sarah saw was a big round husky that looked like a giant over-inflated beach ball, his shirt all stretched out with buttons that looked like they were going to burst. His arms and legs were gone and all that was left was his bloated wiggling paws. His belt and straps came off just seconds ago before she opened the door. “MMMFH!” He muffles in fear. His face was all puffed up and he couldn’t speak a word.
“Arthur, what happened to you!?” She asks as she hears his buttons finally giving their last strength before they shoot straightforward like bullets. They missed Sarah but made holes on the wall behind her. His taut red belly was exposed, seeing the stretch marks. He was on the verge of bursting and Sarah had no idea what even got him this big. “Uh no.” She said as his body was slowly ripping apart, air coming out of it like a ripped tire.
“MMMMMMMFFFFHHHH!” He lets out one long muffled scream before he explodes into scraps. The blast of the force was very strong for Sarah to fly towards the wall and become unconscious. Then a ghost appeared, he looked light blue and scaly. In his hands was a used air tank that was up all the way. It still hissed but then died.
“Awwww, my air tank is gone.” He said, throwing the air tank away. “Oh well, one down five to go.” The ghost laughs before taking off, leaving the knocked out bee behind.

In the basement, Jacob shivers in fear. He hated basements more than any part of a house, besides the attic. Shawn was sniffing around, seeing if he could search for this ghost. “Man, I can sniff a trail of this ghost.” He said, looking at Jacob who was holding his flashlight tightly.
“Maybe because it’s not in the basement! Can we get out of here?” He asks in a panicky tone.
“No way. Haedon told us to search the basement and…..” Before he could say anything else, he sniffs something else in the air. “Is that…..” He had to take a second sniff to make sure that he was smelling this right. “It’s food!” He pants happily, jumping around like crazy. “I can smell the food from upstairs!” Without thinking about the ghost hunt, Shawn rushes up the stairs.
“Wait! I thought you said that we have to stay down here!” He sees this as unfair.
“I’ll be right back. So….don’t come up or I’ll eat you.” Shawn said to him before running to the point where Jacob couldn’t hear his nails tap the wood floor.
“Oh come on!” He hates that dog so much. In fact, he hates everyone in this gang. They always make fun of him for being a coward and weak. “Stupid team. I should have stayed at home like a normal person than to be here with these jerks.” He huffs and crosses his arms. Jacob wished that he could get them back for this, maybe show them that he’s not weak and not a coward. All of a sudden, a green mist comes behind Jacob. It was foggy and Jacob never noticed it. Then, the same light blue ghost from before snuck up behind him and went right inside his body like he was going to possess him. Jacob only felt chills in his spine before he screamed like a girl. Turning around, he doesn’t see anything out of the ordinary besides the boxes and the dusty furniture. “Huh I swore that-” Jacob was going to continue but his body was feeling numb. “Nrgh! Wh-what!?” He asks, looking at his arms as they begin to bulge underneath the sweater. “My...arms!” He grunts as he feels his jacket getting tighter in his body. He also gets a bit taller, going to six feet tall.
He looks at himself, in awe from his transformation. He still couldn’t see his body with his clothes still on him. “Huh, I feel….” He flexes his arms although they were under his sleeves so it was hard unless the seams were to rip apart. “Man, I’m so big and buff. I wish I was even more swole.”
“Well, let me help with that.” A voice in his head said. “As long as you get your revenge on your friends for what they have done with you.” Jacob didn’t know where this voice came from but the advice he gave out made Jacob smile.
“Of course, they’ll pay for all of those times they messed with me. Make me bigger and I will crush them!” He roars in anger. Because of this, his body went numb again and started to swell up. His jacket was so big that it exploded in pieces, leaving him shirtless. He could see his entire body with a six-pack, nice round pecs, some swole muscles, and nice average hips. The button to his pants popped off and flew across the room. “Mmmm...yes!” He shouts with pleasure. “Make me bigger! Stronger! ARGH!” His voice was getting deeper and deeper until it sounded like a lion’s voice. His shoes exploded like his sweater and his pants were starting to rip apart, but not by much. He was at least fifteen feet tall, almost touching the ceiling. He felt all of this confidence come into his body like someone had heard his wishes and made them come true. After he stopped growing, he checked himself out and flexed again. There was a mirror right next to him, looking at how swole he was. “Oh yeah, now this is the body I want!” He flexes more and more.
The ghost felt like he made the mistake of giving this bunny muscles if all he is doing is flexing in the mirror. “Why do I always give people things if they don’t follow up on the deal?” The ghost sighs. “You know what? I think you need to be in a better “shape” for this.”

In the kitchen, Shawn sniffs around the place. He was looking for the food that he smelt earlier in the basement that made him come up here in the first place. He checked all the cabinets, drawers, closets, and even the fridge, but there was nothing. “But that’s impossible, I swore I smelled the food.” He whines, feeling like his nose played a trick on him.
“Shawn, what are you doing in the kitchen?” Haedon asks, entering the kitchen with Tyler after the two heard shuffling in the kitchen.
Shawn turns around to see the human and the typhlosion balloon. “Haedon! I..uhhh….” He really couldn’t explain it if Haedon wasn’t going to believe him. “You see, I smelled food here and so I went and-”
“So you left Jacob in the basement?” Haedon interrupts him, disappointed in him for doing that.
“Hey, I said that I was going to be right back! I’m starving here!” He said, arguing with the human.
“Starving!? You just have a large burger with fries and a shake!”
“So!? I want more!” Shawn greedly demands. As a chubby dog with a large appetite, he needs to eat every hour or less which just burns their money. Before they could continue this fight, the three shook as loud heavy steps were approaching them. “Umm, what’s going on?” It shook like an earthquake with the cabinet doors opening and the dust coming from the ceiling falling on the three. They all turned around and faced what looked like a huge and buff rabbit. He was as tall as a statue and muscular like a bodybuilder. “What…..Jacob?” It was shocking to see him like this, even after leaving him alone for five minutes.
“Jacob? Is that you?” Haedon said as Tyler held up the camera, pointing it at Jacob.
“Yes, it is you weaklings. I’m big, muscular, and ready to show you losers what it’s like to be small.” He said with his deep voice, feeling angry and vengeful. “I’m gonna crush all of you like clay!” He lets out this evil laugh like a villain from an old cartoon show. At this point, the guys were afraid of what Jacob had become, although Shawn didn’t regret teasing him while Haedon and Tyler were thinking of apologizing. After his laugh, the sounds of hissing were caught off guard. “Huh? What is that….” Jacob looked down at his belly, his six-pack was turning into a pot belly. “What!? I’m...blowing up!” He pokes his inflating belly. It was filling up with air like his belly was some sort of balloon. Panicking, he pressed on his belly and tried to belch it out like it was some gas that needed to be released. “Deflate! Deflate!” He commands like he was in charge.
The three stepped back away from him, not sure what was going on or how this was happening. “Umm, should we get back?” Tyler asks as he notices that his muscles on Jacob’s arms were turning more into one big balloon.
“AHHH! My muscles!” Jacob screams as he can't bend them. His legs were also doing the same thing, making him flop on his back. He grunts and wiggles around, trying to get back up. He was stuck on the ground, getting bigger and rounder as his torso became a sphere. His limbs became useless and his cheeks puffed up to the point where he couldn’t speak. “MFFFH!” He was muffled but none of the others couldn’t understand what he was saying.
“It’s best if we stand as far away from him as possible.” Haedon suggests to the two, running away from the rabbit who was now an orb. His once muscled limbs were sunk into his round body that had a red color on the front and creaking noises.
“MMPPPHH! MPPPPHHH!” Jacob cried out more but it was no use for him to be saved. His taut belly hurted him and he started to whine and groan. With a slight tear in his belly, air came out, then a big bang rang out across the first floor. It sounded like a loud grenade being fired. All that’s left are the scraps of the bunny that was once a buff and dangerous.
Then the same light blue mist from before appeared around the scraps, forming into a light blue ghost. This ghost looked evil with his bright yellow eyes and sharp teeth. He was an axolotl, missing some pieces of his gills with a tail instead of two bottom legs. Whoever this guy was, it seems like his goal is to take out the investigators by bursting them. “Shouldn’t have gloated about your victory, you dumb bunny.” The ghost then vanishes and goes somewhere else. He had taken out two and got four more to go.
______________________________________________________________________________
“What in the world just happened!?” Tyler said as he stopped walking and looked at Haedon. “We just saw our friend blow up into a balloon.”
“I know. It has to be a ghost, I can sense it.” Haedon says, sure of it.
“Well we have to check on Arthur and Sarah to see if they are alright.” Tyler walks past him in a hurry as the two walk behind him. They went upstairs, calling out their names. “Sarah!? Arthur!?” No one replied. “Oh please, be alright.” Tyler says, worried that something bad had happened to them. Once up the stairs, Tyler found Sarah on the ground, unconscious. “Sarah!” He shouts as he runs towards her. Haedon and Shawn run to their aid.
“Sarah, can you hear us!?” Shawn asks her, licking the bee’s face to get her to wake up.
She moves her head around slowly, her eyes opened just a bit. “Huh….” She groans as Tyler and Haedon help her get on her feet. “What….happened?” Sarah looks to her right and her vision clears up to see Tyler. “Tyler?”
“Yeah, it’s us. What happened to you?”
Once her consciousness was back, she looked at the room she once saw her friend Arthur explode. “Oh no…..Arthur.” She points at the room, still seeing the scraps on the floor.
“Is that….Arthur?” Haedon was shocked, Arthur had popped too.
“He was…..an orb and-”
“He bursted, didn’t he?” Haedon says, finishing her sentence.
“How did you know?” She asks him.
“We saw the same thing happen to Arthur but he was a buff rabbit before he got round.” He explains, taking her to the room with the sleeping bags. Tyler closes and locks the door behind him.
“I only saw Arthur round, not buff.” She rests on her sleeping bag, trying to make sense of what was going on. “What is this ghost trying to do?”
“Probably getting rid of us. And I’ll say they’re doing a good job.” Shawn sniffs the locked door, making sure the ghost wasn’t nearby. “So what do we do?”
Haedon sighs and looks at Tyler, still holding that camera. “Well we have no choice but to figure out what this ghost wants besides taking us out. Tyler and I will go back out and see what clues we can find.”
“Wait a minute!” Tyler stops him. “There’s no way that I’m going back out there. Two of our friends just burst!”
“I know but we’re sitting ducks here if we don’t do anything.” He then looks over at Shawn. “Shawn, make sure that Sarah doesn’t get hurt...again.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll be her guard dog.” He said with a nod.
With that done, Haedon and Tyler go over to the door and unlock it. “Before you go…” Sarah said, slowly standing up. “You’ll need walkie talkies.” In a suitcase, she pulls out the miniature radios and hands one to each of them. “We want to make sure that you are safe.”
“Good thinking. We’ll talk on the radio if we find something good.” So Haedon and Tyler exit the room and close the door behind them. “So where should we start?”
“I’ll go down the other end of the hall. You can have the attic.” Although that sounded like a bad idea to go into the attic, Haedon would take it. Walking down the hall, there was a hatch on the ceiling with a handle. Once Tyler passes by the hatch and enters the room that looks like another guest room, Haedon pulls on the handle in which the ladder falls down. It spooked the human for a little but he’s had experience on this. He goes up the ladder, poking his head up from the hatch door. The whole place looked dusty and old with artifacts from what year it was placed up here. On the right, there was a lightswitch that worked. The lights flickered but stayed bright for the human to see what was in here. Meanwhile, Tyler explored around in the guest room. It wasn’t as clean as what his place looks like and there were a lot of holes in the walls and floors so he needed to watch his step. There wasn’t anything that could help him with what this ghost was but there were some strange pieces on the floor, like dried scraps. So someone has been popped before, was it the previous owners? “Man, I swear I’m in the danger zone.”
“You got that right victim number twenty three.” A voice said, deep and sickly. Tyler jumps in fear and jerks his head around the room.
“W-who said that!?” He asks, but the voice doesn't reply back. So he goes to his walkie talkie. “Guys!? Can you hear me!? I just heard someone in this room!” All he heard from the radio was the static, no responses. “Hello!? Can anyone hear me!?” Still static.
“No one can help you now.” The voice spoke again now with a laugh. “You’re my balloon.” The door to the guest room slams aggressively and automatically locks.
Back in the attic, the hatch to the attic closes on Haedon, leaving him trapped. The human realizes what has happened and tries to open it. Unfortunately he couldn’t open it from the inside. “Hey! Guys! I’m trapped!” He shouts, now kicking on the hatch to get it open.
In the guest room, Tyler panicky tries to open the door but it wouldn’t budge. “Help! Someone!” He hits his balloon fists on the door, hoping that the others could hear him.
“I keep telling you, no one can’t help you.” The ghost said as he appeared right in front of Tyler, leaving him pale and speechless. “Let’s see how big you get.” The axolotl dives right into Tyler’s balloon belly and stays there.
“Hey...get out of there!” He said, terrified of what he was planning. He could see the blue mist forming in his belly, growing bigger and bigger. It was inflating his belly. “No! Stop! My belly!” He puts his hands on his belly, doing what he can to stop this ghost from inflating him. “AHHHH!” He screams once he realizes that the mist was going to his other parts of his body. His hands puff up into unbendable balloons, forcing it to drop his walkie talkie. His legs were too bloated to walk or bend over to get the radio and his arms couldn’t reach his belly anymore as they stayed stiff on his sides. “Nnrgh! My….body...is…..gonna...burst!” His huge balloon butt hits the floor, leaving the immobile typhlosion whining and grunting as his body creaks from the tightness. “HELP! AAAHHH!”
BANG! The balloon body of the typhlosion bursts, leaving scraps all over the floor. The light blue mist covers the entire room before it all vanishes in thin air. Haedon heard the explosion from below him, still trying to get the hatch open. “Tyler!? Sarah!? Shawn!? Are you guys ok!?”
Before he could kick down the hatch again, someone from below opens it up fully. He looks down to see Sarah and Shawn at the bottom. “Haedon? What happened? I heard a loud burst.” She said as Haedon quickly got down from the attic.
“I don’t know. The hatch closed and I was stuck up there. Where’s Tyler?” He asks, looking around to see that he wasn’t here.
“I don’t know, I thought he was up there with you.” Sarah started to worry if that loud bang was from something terrible.
“No, he was in that guest bedroom.” Haedon points at the door that was closed. The three hurriedly went to the door. Haedon twists on the doorknob but it is jammed. “Tyler?” He knocks on the door. “Are you okay in there?”
No one replied. The three begin to get scared for their balloon friend as Haedon kicks the door without any hesitation. The door breaks and opens. Inside, they looked at the ground to find fresh scraps. Their worst fears have come true, Tyler was popped. “Oh no, Tyler.” Shawn whines, his nose sniffing one of the scraps to make sure it was him. “He actually popped.” He confirms it.
“You know what? Let’s get out of here?” Sarah quickly states, giving up on the whole investigation. “We just lost three of our members and we could be next!”
Haedon really didn’t want to quit. He still needed to figure out what kind of ghost they were dealing with. “Sarah, we still have a chance to stop this ghost.”
“As much as I hate to say it Haedon, she’s right. I’m not risking being popped by some balloon fetish ghost.” Shawn takes her side. “Sorry but we need to leave.”
In a two against one situation, Haedon knew that he’ll never change their mind over this. “Alright fine, let’s get out of here.” So the three members left in the gang went back to the master bedroom to pack up their things. They grabbed their equipment, cameras, the sleeping bags, and many other things. After packing, they took them out of the room. “So how are we going to explain this to everyone?”
“We’ll not. It’s best if we don’t tell anyone about this place, for their own sake.” Sarah didn’t want another person to be popped in the mansion. Going down the stairs, they could see the front door right in front of them. “There’s the door.” She said as they got to the bottom. “Now it’s our chance.”
Before they could even touch the doorknob, a light blue mist appeared in front of them. “What the?” Haedon said, not sure what to make out of it.
A ghost appears in the mist, an axolotl. He has this huge grin on his face and claws on his hands. “Trying to escape huh?” The ghost laughs with evil in his tone. The three stopped in their tracks, staring at this ghost. “Well the fun isn’t over so get running!”
“Run!” Haedon shouts as they drop their things and book it. Shawn was in front of the two because of his fast speed. But he started to slow down a bit from the fat he was carrying with him. In the hall, they were thinking of hiding in the rooms but with the fear of what happened with the others, they kept on running. But for Shawn, he began to slow down and went into an immediate halt. The other two stopped running and looked at Shawn. “What are you doing!?” Haedon said.
“I….” He sniffs a smell, a certain smell that he has known his whole life. “I smell food.” He turns around, in awe, seeing food flying in the air. There was a ton of food, like an entire buffet right in front of them. “Oh….my…..god.”
“It looks like all of that running made you three hungry.” The ghost appears right below the floating line of food. “Why not have a bite!” He shouts, forcefully throwing a piece of bread at the three. Shawn jumps in the air and catches the bread with his mouth. His body jiggles like jello.
“Mmmm, so good.” Shawn said with his mouth full, swallowing the bread. “At least I got to eat.”
“Well share some with your friends there, mutt!” The ghost throws a piece of a chicken leg. It was headed towards Sarah.
Shawn knew what he had to do. He was the only one with the biggest appetite and he was a hungry dog. So the best thing he was going to do is make a noble sacrifice. He jumped in the air again, grabbing that chicken leg and chewing it down before swallowing it. “I’m not finished eating, ghost!”
This surprised the ghost, someone was willing to be stuffed with food. Never has he had someone so willingly to be in his hands. “Fine then. I always wanted to know how much a talking german shepherd can eat.” Now all of the food was going straight to Shawn as he was happily opening his mouth.
Shawn stood on his two hind legs, right in front of the two so he’ll make sure none of the food got to them, spreading his arms into a t-pose like he was guarding a goal in soccer. The food goes straight into Shawn’s mouth, making the dog swallow it down into his belly. “Shawn, stop!” Haedon said, begging Shawn to keep on running.
“Sorry Haedon, but I’m not-gllk!” An entire turkey was shoved into his mouth, but he managed to gulp it down. “Ahhh….going to let this opportunity pass by.” His belly starts growing in fat. Haedon and Sarah didn’t run but stayed there as they watched the dog grow fatter and fatter. His belly was the size of a beach ball, his limbs got thicker than it was before, his butt bwomped suddenly, and he grew taller and wider. He was so heavy that he slammed his butt to the ground, shaking the place. “Give me more! More!” His mouth, full of food, was muffled by fat cheeks.
Haedon couldn’t believe that his dog just saved his and Sarah’s life. It was so much that the human hugged his fat back as he grew more. Shawn’s tail wagged happily, hitting Haedon. “Thank you Shawn for your heroic sacrifice.” He whispers before he and Sarah run off, leaving a bloating dog behind.
His fat body closed off the walls like a clog and his belly was now the size of a weather balloon. “Mmffhh! I’m so….full…” He starts whining, feeling his belly hurting and getting tight. “Gonna...burst!”
“Ugh! How big are you going to get, fat dog!?” He swore that if he ran out of food and this dog was still alive, he was going to be angry. He could hear his belly creaking and stretch with bright red spots and some stretch marks. His arms and legs were nothing but blobs of fat, his neck and face looked like they were buried, and his butt was huge like two king size mattresses.
“BRAAAAAP!” Shawn lets out a big belch as he huffs. “I don’t know but...NNNGHH!....I’m not letting you hurt my…….FRIENDS! ARRROOOOO!” He howls as his belly slowly opens up and finally explodes. His scraps were landed everywhere with pieces of food.
“Finally, I was wondering when you burst. Four down, two more to go.” He said, laughing down the halls and looking for the two.

Haedon and Sarah had heard a cry of howl and an explosion from the distance. They knew that he wouldn’t survive a meal like that, even if was enjoying it. “Alright, we have to get to the door before he-” Haedon was cut off when the ghost appeared right in front of them again.
“There you are! Come here so I can pop you!” The ghost roars.
The two looked to their left and went through the only door that was opened. Haedon slammed through the door with Sarah behind him. Inside, it was the pool room. But this pool wasn’t the kind to swim in, it looked disgusting. Whatever this green slime was, it didn’t look healthy. On the other side of the pool were two glass doors that looked like it led to the garden. Haedon went to the left side of the pool as Sarah went to the right. The ghost chuckles, floating right through the middle. Haedon and Sarah make it to the other side and start shaking the knobs. “Come on!” He said, painckly trying to get them opened. The doors weren’t opening, like something was jamming it. The ghost slowly crept up by the two.
“He’s getting closer!” Sarah shrieks.
“It’s not opening!” Haedon’s best guest was that there was something on the other side they couldn’t see or it was broken and no one ever fixed it. The human then tries to pull on it, maybe to break it open. He puts his foot on the glass, pulling it back and forth.
The ghost was almost this close to get them but suddenly, the doorknob breaks apart, making Haedon fall in the pool. With a splash, the slime got on the ghost. “Ha! That water hasn’t been cleaned in years so…” His ghostly body starts rumbling. “What the…'' His belly bwomps out of nowhere, giving him a nice pot belly. “No! It can be!” The ghost said in a shocking manner. He pokes his belly and it jiggles. “My thin belly…...I gotta fix it!” The ghost zooms out of the pool and to wherever it went.
Sarah became amazed that she just saw a ghost bloat up. Then she looks down to see Haedon getting out of the pool, all covered in the strange slime. He wasn’t affected by it unlike the ghost which makes her believe that this slime could help them with their ghost problem. “Are you okay?” She asks him, helping him up.
“Yeah, gross but fine.” He looks at himself in disgust and shakes his hands and wipes his face. “What is this stuff?”
“I don’t know but it gave that ghost a nice pot belly. I bet we can use this to stop that ghost once and for all.” Sarah picks up the stuff and rubs it in her hands. She has never seen anything like this before, and it was never in her supernatural books she read these past years. “If we can find something to collect this stuff with, we got our own secret weapon.”
“Well, we are in a pool so there must be some toys laying around here.” Haedon said as the two started searching. It’s also a good thing that the slime was a huge pool so they can use this to avoid the ghost. Haedon spots something behind a wooden wall with a hole in it. He breaks that wall and inside were a whole bunch of water guns. “Check this out Sarah.” He calls for her.
Sarah goes up to him and peeks through the hole. “How lucky are we?” She smiles and picks up a small water gun. It was empty but not anymore as she goes over to the pool and fills the gun up with the slime. “Fill up all of these water guns before the ghost comes back.” Haedon nods and grabs what he can grab and fills up the tanks. This ghost had started a war and they were going to end it and avenge their popped friends.
______________________________________________________________________________
Out in the hall, Haedon and Sarah, with their water guns full of slime, sneak around to catch this ghost. Some had straps for them to carry on their shoulders like a satchel and others they used for a suitcase Haedon went back for at the front hall. They may have no idea what the history behind him or why he was doing this, but it was time to end his reign of terror once and for all. “Check your six.” Haedon whispers to her as Sarah quickly turns around and aims her water gun.
“We’re good.” She whispers back, turning back around.
The two were back in the kitchen, looking around to hunt this ghost. “Man, I still don’t understand where all of that food came from.” Haedon said, opening the fridge again to see it empty and unused. “Did that ghost had some sort of secret kitchen around here?”
“You know that Shawn, if he were still here, would have left that place trashed with wrappers and grease stains. Not to forget that you’ll have a giant fat dog in your kitchen now.” Haedon chuckles a little before he starts to think how much he misses Shawn. All of the sudden, the whole room began to shake violently like an earthquake. “Umm, what’s going on?” She asks, gripping onto her water gun tightly.
“I don’t know.” Haedon jerks his head around the kitchen to see if he could spot what was causing all of this.
“So you came looking for me!” The ghost appears again at the end of the doorway from the hall. He still had that potbelly he got from the pool, jiggling like a water balloon. “Finally, I will get to pop you once and for-” He was interrupted by Haedon squirting his water gun right at the ghost. “ACH! Stop that!” He shouts, waving his arms at the stream as most of it hits his belly. Haedon stops and puts down his water gun, watching the ghost’s belly bloating up. “No! What have you done!? I’m fat!” He turns around to see that he got a nice round fat butt.
“Yeah, get a taste of your own medicine you popping maniac!” Haedon points his water gun back at the ghost and fires. Sarah does the same thing to uppen the speed. The ghost’s body got bigger and bigger. He couldn’t support his own weight so he landed on the ground with a jiggle.
“No! I don’t want to burst! Please!” He begs. His belly was too heavy for the ghost to escape his demise, his arms and tail were so big that the ghost was surprised to see it this fat. “I’m…..big!” His cheeks were puffing up into two baseballs, making him unable to talk. “MMMFHHH!” All he could do was to wiggle his fat fingers as they kept shooting him more of the slime. He was very round like the others they witnessed being burst. “MMMMFHH!” His belly looked like it was about to burst any second with a red mark and creaking sounds.
Haedon’s water gun became empty and used the smaller one as Sarah did the same thing. “We're almost there Sarah, keep shooting!” He says, encouraging her and himself.
The ghost’s arms sunk into his body, wobbling side to side like a giant blueberry. “MMMMMPPHH!” One second later, the ghost’s belly couldn’t contain anymore slime and bursted like a giant water balloon. It splashed all over on Sarah and Haedon as they stopped shooting.
“We did it, Haedon. We stopped the ghost!” Sarah cheers, hugging the human tightly.
“I guess so. Now we can finally get out of here.” He drops all of the water guns onto the floor.
“But what about the others?” She asks, concerned to what will happen with them.
She did have a point. They couldn’t just forget about them after their sacrifice to stop this ghost. “Hmm, I think I know a place where I can get them back in one piece. Let’s grab all their scraps into a suitcase, I’ll drive.” So Sarah and Haedon went around the mansion with the suitcases they dropped at the front door and picked up every single scrap of their friends that they could find. They also made sure that they put them in separate suitcases so they won’t get mixed up.
After they did that, they finally exited the mansion with the scarps and the equipment. Then, puts those suitcases in the back and hopped into the front seat as the human drives away. He speeds up a little, wanting to get away from the mansion as fast as possible. “So….” He turns to Sarah. “Want to take a break from ghost hunting for a while?”
“Yeah, a year. No way will any of us recover from that.” She said, being right as usual. “But hey, maybe we can come back to that mansion to collect more of that slime. I have a feeling that slime will be the best weapon for our adventures.”
