Nestled in the mountains blue
In elder days, in Ered Luin
Dwelt the sturdy broadbeam host
Within the halls of Belegost
Off they marched with Noldorin
To battle Angband cruel and grim
At their head stood Azaghal
Noble king in mountain hall
Axe in hand, upon his crown
Brightly sat the dragon helm
But broadbeam host brave and true
Would not return to mountains blue
Late they came to battle fought
Against the beasts of Angband wrought
Upon the host of Maedhros firm
Game Glaurung's brood wicked worm
Among their ranks to prove their bane
Betrayed they were by kin of Ulfang
Against this swelling host of war
Fell back the sons of Feonor
Upon their lines charged the wyrm
With bloody claw and chilling glare
But firm like walls of mithril hewn
Stood the dwarves from mountains blue
Axes biting dragon's scales
Armor strong his fire fails
Surrounded was the wretched worm
Agaist his teeth stood Azaghal firm
And deep into the monster's girth
Plunged the axe of noble birth
But swiftly fell the dragon's talon
Ending the proud son of Durin
Removed he was by grieving few
King of the dwarves from mountains blue.

The second of the pair of poems based on the battle of unnumbered tears, this time it was a tip of the hat to the dwarves in the battle, and the wounding by them of the dragon Glaurung who features quite prominently in that part of the Silmarillion (notice he's also key to the other poem)
