This reminds me of what Evangelion units can do in Neon Genesis Evangelion, just like angels, in having a barrier that protects them from damage based on conventional weapons.

Always figured she was more of a pacifist by nature, but can you offer a little more detail as to how said shield generation works? I thought she was a turtle-like creature, but it seems pretty clear now that's not the case.

She was inspired by a turtle. I'm retroactively giving some STs a function. That "shell" is now some sort of crystaline structure that builds up/stores a bio-electrical charge

That makes sense. Though now I find myself wondering about all the different ways she and the other Titans could combine their powers depending on the situation. If I'm not mistaken, it feels likely given what we know now (and right out of a video game at that).
