I'm DONE. I have been plucking at this piece for what feels like ages, I am just. . . here. Have it.

A portrait of him fit for his wall. Excellent work as always, Rukis.
Dog damn, I really wish you were open for commissions - I'd kill for a Rukis piece...probably wouldn't be able to afford you even if you were, though - this level of detail probably warrants in excess of 500$, I'd guess.
A rakish fiend! A scoundrel, even! An absolute menace to fathers of bicurious blonde boys everywhere.
Minor edit to your note, Rukis—he is THE cattle dog. ;)
Very lovely work on him once more. This came out amazing as heck ^^

Luther before the painting: This outfit looks ridiculous
Luther during the painting: This outfit feels ridiculous
Luther after the painting: Damn I look good

Oh my! As if I didn't already love this character enough. Hope I can buy a print of this at blfc!

Sometimes things just reach a point where you are well past the Pareto-optimal level of effort that is worth putting into it.
I don't know how much you are into having internet randos critique things and my apologies if you feel like I'm overstepping here, but I've had a couple things jump out at me while looking at this.
His face, head and shoulders are to my eye extremely well done and I especially like the detail of just a little bit of light coming through the thin parts of his ears.
Going further down the detailing on the clothes are all nice, but something about the posing of his left elbow/arm seems...off, like when trying to project it into 3D in my mind something isn't working here. Biggest single nit one could pick is that those are some chonky sausage-meat-stuffed-into-a-glove fingers and hands he has.
Still overall it's a well done piece and it's obvious a lot of time went into it.

Gosh Luther is looking as dashing as ever~ He definitely could sweep me away to the captain's cabin when ever he liked~
AHA! (or would that be, 'AHOY!'?)
;-P
Dayumn, that's one luverly piccie! I remember watching you working on this during one'a yer live stream events, and was keenly watching how you do this sort o' thing, digitally!

This is a stunning piece, really brings him to life.
It's been a pleasure to watch the WIPs and streams of this coming together as well.

I going to haft to find some way now to make room on my wall for a copy of this stunning portrait of Luther. Well done as always Rukis 👍👍
I know that feeling, if just being DONE with something.
Magnificent even by your own masterful standards, really shows of Luther's confidence and how good he can look in blue.
Funny thing about the "plucking" comment; in the thumbnail I thought I saw him wielding a bass guitar!
As I see, you still remember about it, but you're not continuing yet. Is it under development? If it's not a secret.
Honestly, to me Luther may be quite "questionable" but he still a good man (he just had to make some tuff decisions for his people)
