A relaxation audio that lets you imagine yourself as a dog that needs calming down on a stormy afternoon.
If you like this kind of stuff I do a bunch of these:

Also side note, this wasn't intended to be a metaphor for lockdown but wow it sure feels that way.

TRANSCRIPT:
The thunder is rolling in
And rain smears down the window in uneven torrents
Your tail feels heavy, as though it will never wag again
Your human steps towards you, something in their hands
Whatever it is, it doesn’t have the telltale jingle of a leash
And you certainly won’t be going out for a walk in this
You feel a soft hand atop your head
Gently ruffling your ears before smoothing along the fur of your back
For a moment it’s almost enough to distract from the growling thunder
*THUNDER*
Almost
Damn thunder. It’s like an angry beast in the sky, always snapping and growling
But then a new sound makes your ears perk up
The crackle of velcro
You feel hands and fabric coming over your back
Wrapping around you as a large, soft swathe of material is drawn around and under your belly
Then another part of fabric is pulled across your chest and fastened into place
This thing...a thunder vest your human calls it
It feels...solid
You lie down, stretching out your fore paws and letting your hind legs shift to the side
The wooden floor is cool under your fur, even through the vest
You let out a slow breath, letting all the tension out with it.
As you breath in again you feel the thundershirt pressing gently on your sides
As though someone is right there
To hug and pat and reassure you
That everything will be fine
And that you are a good dog
Rain still continues to pour down the window - just as much as before
Yet the thunder seems...distant. Too far away to be threatening.
There’s just the calming patter of rain
And now you can let down your guard
No more bared teeth or raised hackles
If you feel like it, you can even let your tail thump, thump, thump upon the floor.
Your sniff the air with your keen snout - noticing new details that you couldn’t appreciate before
Even through closed doors, fresh scents are blooming
Rising up from the damp earth
A promise that when it’s time to go outside
There will be mud
Fresh mud to squelch between your paws
To run through
and to roll around in
And it will be so good.
And you know - always - that you are a good dog.
