Original Species: Titan Seal
The Titan Seal is the larger and comparably more docile relative of the Goliath Seal. These colossal pinnipeds roam the southern seas, close to the antarctic circle, making their range a bit more limited and sightings a lot rarer.
They are for the most part fairly docile and will ignore smaller creatures walking near them. However, that changes when the breeding season begins; male Titan Seals become highly aggressive when fighting over territory and the right to mate with females. It's been reported that a fight between two males can cause minor seismic tremors in nearby areas.
Despite their massive size and weight, Titan Seals can remain on land for surprisingly long periods of time. Analysis of bones taken from dead individuals uncovered that their skeletons contain a lot more iron than most other creatures. On top of that, these seals seem to have a series of gas sacks located all over their bodies, reducing their weight on land just enough to freely move around and prevent their internal organs from getting crushed.
