Wolf isn't stronger than lion or tiger but wolf never performs in the circus!... nevermind, this is another pretentious russian idiom.

Wolves are noble in Russia? I thought they were savages who hunted Russian and German soldiers in WWI!
Not all wolves are savages, and not all wolves are noble. But if a wolf is noble, he must be noble in everything!
delicious... I think she might make a good attraction in that circus...

I'm sure she doesn't even allow such thoughts! Or not... who knows
The King of the Jungle, not but a clown in circus young wolf. Move along~
Love the art!

Неважно кто не выступает в цирке, важно кто волк.

Love it! The angle and view of the lady wolf’s expression is perfect. She’s also easy on the eyes, but you always draw anatomy to perfection. I also like the sketch layout where it’s faded in the background and details on the pillar. I always love seeing you post new artwork :)
Then he will likely run away and join the circus just to see what goes on there.
Poor kid is warped for life. Probably grow up to be a clown.
I always find myself envious of your line work. Beautifully done yet again.
I'm glad you like it! Your elaboration of backgrounds and characters is much better than mine
This is true... until one realises we domesticated wolves and through selected breeding turned them into things like Chihuahuas and Pugs.
Wolf is not in Circus but Wolf is no longer Wolf.

Feel sorry for the little guy but gotta learn sometimes you can't get everything you want.
Though of course I'm in the dark about idiom so it's all going over my head I'm sure lol.

In brief: typical for strong independent teenagers quote about "The Real Men…" mixed with wolfabooism.

Actually, it sounds like this: a wolf is weaker than a lion and a tiger, but he does not perform in a circus
And after this first commission, I think I'll decide what I want for the second one and make a new note for you. That way we'll both know what's happening! XD
I literally just did Circus World Museum in Baraboo Wisconsin today
https://circusworld.wisconsinhistory.org/
Winter Home of the Ringling Brothers Circus. I gotta say, it was really impressive to tour. The countless original promotion posters of various circuses , the artwork alone was impressive. Plus the huge collection of original circus wagons going back to the mid-1850s.
Sadly I got to see the last 2 elephants that were circus performers in North America, performing for the last time this summer before being retired to Arkansas in September. They are also in their 40s. And I was told, they could perform without a handler present. Thanks to animal rights activists, Circuses as we knew them, are becoming extinct.
The funny thing is, the once staple 'Freak Show' at circuses, can't be done today. Damn near everybody is heavily tattoo'd, Huge ass women, hyperly skinny people and Bearded ladies are now Trans males.
You would have gone nuts viewing the HO Scale circus train layout to scale, 3 trains, 140 carriages in the late 40s. Very impressive!
