There was very little the populace of Chicago could do to prepare for the apocalyptic event that was assaulting the surrounding region with powerful quakes and devastating shockwaves. Without warning the monotony of Monday morning had been replaced by confused panic as emergency sirens began to blare and workers inside of their offices tried to seek shelter under their desks. Those outside could feel the concrete beneath their feet shift and crackle. Windows began to shatter and car alarms started going off. The quaking got more violent with every passing second until many had to resort to clinging to whatever they could for support.
Screaming soon erupted as an office building came crashing to the ground, sending debris flinging out into the streets and covering hundreds in a thick cloud of smoke and dust. It was as though one of the worst natural disasters in history had stuck without warning, but as the rumbling quakes got even more powerful it was soon made apparent it was much worse than that. Many heads turned skywards as an oppressive shadow began to cast above the city. Two enormous figures towered above the skyline, one black, and the other bright pink. The two massive beings demanded attention from everyone who had been scurrying to find somewhere safe to hide. While both looked very different, it was clear that they were both dragons. Dragons who stood miles tall and seemed to have stopped right outside of the city.
The dragon on the right was black with stripes of red along his body and tail and had a bright white mane of fur that went all the way down to his tail. He was just slightly larger than his female companion who was multiple shades of pink and purple. They did not seem to notice the city they had devastated by the mere act of walking towards it, or they simply did not care. They exchanged a playful look and nuzzled each other before glancing out into the distance. The inhabitants desperately hoped that the titans would decide to step away from their city, but as soon as the dragon’s lifted a claw upwards their fate was sealed.
For tens of thousands of people, the sky was suddenly replaced by either a black or dark pink sole. Dirt and even bits of rubble from towns to the north clung to their claws, which truly put things into perspective for the humans trapped inside their tiny city. No amount of running or begging would spare them the fate assigned to them for being the equivalent to ants on the sidewalk to two godlike dragons. Many could do little more but look upwards at their approaching doom, seeing clouds parting as the rumbling rush of air got louder and louder until everything went black.
The first step brought most of Chicago crumbling down even though only a few blocks of city were directly crushed beneath the billions of tons of dragon soles. Those not instantly pulverized beneath their claws were blasted away by a violent shockwave that leveled all but the sturdiest of buildings. Offices and stores collapsed into heaps of rubble that buried those trapped in the streets. The sheer force of their steps deafened almost everyone who survived, but they were the unluckiest of them all. They watched as the claws sunk into the earth, easily burying everything caught in their tread hundreds of feet into the ground. A moment later, the Gods took another step.
The wailing humans pleaded for mercy as their destroyers stride forward, covering more distance in a few seconds than anyone in the city could have in an hour. The edge of the city leading into suburbs did not even last until the titan’s stepped down. The displaced air from their slow stride did most of the work for them. Air blasted through the streets at hundreds of miles per hour, blowing cars and humans away as if they were dust. Buildings were striped away of everything until only their frames remained, but those were soon flattened into mangled steel and concrete and the dragons allowed their claws to sink into the fragile earth. No manmade weapon of war could even compare to the destructive power of the enormous dragon couple. With four combined steps, Chicago was little more than a massive graveyard filled with piles of rubble and flattened vehicles.

Froimar nuzzled against his girlfriend as they suddenly appeared in what seemed to be a grassy plain with a few large puddles to their left. Her magic was always impressive to witness, especially when she teleported them both somewhere they had never been before. It was obvious at once to him that she had also altered their size in the teleportation process, but he only spared the ground a passing glance as he felt her brush up against him and kiss his cheek.
“Nice place, Runa. Seems perfect for a walk.” He said, grinning towards his girlfriend and seeing her give her surroundings an appraising look. Their eyes then met, and she returned the grin.
“Agreed~ Mind the puddles though, sweetie~” Zaruna playfully teased and began to walk alongside her boyfriend. The ground was soft and slightly cool to the touch. She assumed that the winter months were soon to come to this planet. While the grass gave a small amount of resistance due to the cooling climate in recent weeks, as soon as their full weight came down the ground gave in. It felt similar to walking in very fine sand but with the added benefit of the occasional crackling sensation felt underpaw. Froimar and Zaruna both knew that this planet was populated by tiny creatures, but they were not currently worth acknowledging. Towns and small cities existed merely to provide the dragons with tiny pleasurable crunches.
Zaruna could not help but wiggle her toes every now and again to feel the malleable ground between them. For the most part however, her enjoyment came from being close to her lover. She could feel his warm body press up against her every now and again and was pleasantly surprised whenever Froimar would plant a kiss on her cheek or wrap his tail around hers. It wasn’t until they caught sight of a rather large mass of gray did they slow down ever so slightly. It was definitely an important city to the creatures who inhabited this planet, and unfortunately for them, neither dragon was merciful enough to go out of their way to avoid it.
Froimar’s red eyes found Zaruna’s pink ones and they silently agreed to not bother in sparing the city. They stopped for only a moment so that they could nuzzle each other lovingly before continuing on their stroll south. They both could not help but smirk as they felt the fragile buildings crunching beneath their soles, along with all the tiny squishing sensations that were no doubt the insects who had been in their way. Tiny structures crumbled against their claws, barely comparing in size to them. The dragons did not bother even looking down at the decimated city before taking their next step to finish it off.
Their stride barely even slowed as they exterminated millions of the planets inhabitants beneath their claws. The puny attempts at resistance from the mites barely even warranted attention from the couple. Thousands of military aircraft swarmed and attacked with everything they had, but the tiny scarlet fireballs that resulted did not harm either dragon in any way. Froimar simply chuckled and slowly swept his claw through a cluster of them, taking out hundreds in a swift motion.
“It seems this planet has a bug problem,” He said playfully, as if they had merely stepped into a pesky swarm of gnats. “Oh, just one moment, babe.”
A few of the attacking aircraft had to make evasive maneuvers to avoid Froimar’s paw but had sustained damage from the displaced air colliding into them. A few made the desperate decision to land on Zaruna’s snout, something she had not even noticed. Froimar gently plucked up the tiny jets between two claws and flicked them away.
“Thank you~ Pesky little things can really be an annoyance.” She cooed, planting a kiss on her boyfriends lips as they continued walking.

The Midwestern United States was little more than a carpet for the godlike beings who had appeared out of thin air and had begun squishing out the population beneath their claws. Evacuation was attempted, but very little could be done for those caught in the dragon’s paths. Eight enormous claws ravaged farmland and cities alike, leaving behind prints the size of multiple city blocks. Civilians tried to seek shelter in bunkers or in tunnels, but anything caught beneath their destroyer’s claws stood no chance.
Lafavette, Indianpolis, and Louisville all suffered a similar fate to Chicago in the passing minutes. Any attempt to get the dragon’s notice seemingly went unseen. Flares and many aircraft flying with the sole purpose of attracting their attention were ignored. Already millions of lives had been squashed beneath their paws, but the devastation was not nearly over yet. As the gigantic lovers began to change directions eastward, Lexington was suddenly in their path. Hundreds of thousands attempted to drive out of the city, but the traffic in combination with the mighty quakes of their stomps made escape by car impossible. Those inside the city wailed as loudly as they could in a desperate attempt to make their presence known, but it was in vain. The pink dragon wrapped her wing around her companion and gently tugged him closer to her until their bodies were pressed up together.
The terrified masses on the ground gazed up fearfully as they exchanged a tender kiss on the lips and then the black dragon motioned towards the ground. At first the populace thought he had spotted them and was trying to inform his lover. Then realization kicked in and the panic spiked tenfold. The winged dragon began to lower her body downwards and then carefully allowed her side to come down onto Georgetown a few miles north. The destruction spread far and wide as the male dragon soon followed her lead and brought his body down just south of Lexington, trapping the population between two scaly chests and stomachs. Miles of black and bright pink stretched high into the sky as the two dragons affectionately nuzzled and kissed each other, giving those between their bodies the view of a lifetime.
Their arms stretched forward, carving through bits of Lexington as those below shrieked in despair and could do nothing but hope that their region of city would not be plowed through. Those in the streets witnessed many doomed people simply vanish beneath the dragon’s mighty claws and arms, while entire blocks of buildings were razed to the ground. The devastation was unrivaled by any disaster in recorded history and already wiped away the lives of thousands of helpless humans. Unfortunate for them, this was only the first step in their total annihilation. With a booming grunt of effort, the black dragon pulled his girlfriend closer towards him so that they could embrace.
The unstoppable pink wall bulldozed everything in its path, uprooting miles of city and flattening whatever was in its way. Over the course of 5 seconds, most of Lexington was reduced to rubble squished between the dragon’s chests as they cuddled together. The complete lack of notice for their lives made the humans who had miraculously survived feel even more terrified. They were so small and pathetic that the destructive couple did not even see or hear them.
“MMMMM~~” The pink goddess squirmed ever so slightly to get nice and snug against her lover, finishing off what few humans survived between them in one small movement.

Zaruna giggled as she felt Froimar nuzzle her neck and give it a playful nibble. She had been glad her boyfriend had suggested they take a short break to snuggle up on the tiny planet they were trampling. They embraced each other and cared very little for the tiny metropolis that had been beneath them. All that mattered to them were themselves, not the lives of insignificant mites who infested this world. The pink Goddess ran one of her claws through Froimar’s white mane and giggled as he lifted his head so that their snouts pressed together. They kissed deeply overtop the ruins of a major city, their tongues playfully clashing as they nuzzled up against each other and sent violent quakes throughout the region.
By the time they split the kiss, both were panting and grinning at each other. “I am very comfy right here, sweetie~” Zaruna said, resting her head against Froimar’s neck. Her smile widened as she felt his chin resting between her horns.
“I am too~ Wanna rest here for a few minutes and then grab something to eat?” Froimar suggested, feeling his lovers claw stroking his chest.
“Sounds good to me~” Zaruna shifted her body and extended a wing to wrap around her boyfriend’s body. Rubble and dirt dislodged from her fur as she got nice and snug against him. The two dragons sighed contently as they enjoyed each other’s warmth, thinking about where they would head next when they continued their world ending stroll.
