- This is A Vickrey auction or sealed-bid or sealed-bid non-winner-highest-price auction. You submit your bid based on what you think it is worth and willing to pay.
Then the normalized highest bidders wins but pay only the price of the non-winner-highest bid.
Note that, the price is normalized based on number of characters before ranking. e.g. a bidder of $200 one-character wins over a bidder of $300 two-character.
