One software update from a Tech company long established in the world is all it takes for one rabbit to command those around him to his will. What would one do with such a power? Make them grow of course!
A fun (Not so) little story I made with ickis's character Albion making Mike grow! Those two are going to have a nice growth-filled friendship!
The dark rabbit shut the door to his office. Finally. Some alone time. The rabbit turned away from the door, adjusting his lab coat slightly and letting out a long sigh. It’s been a long day at the lab. Albion Tech has a long way to go before it could reach the innovation that he wanted.
The rabbit paced towards the deck at the center of the room. The only light filling the room was any that could make its way around the curtains on the windows. Albion did not mind. The light of his computer would do just fine.
As Albion sat down on his chair, leaning back and letting out another long sigh. It truly was not easy to operate a world-leading corporation. Much less one as widespread as his. Albion lifted an arm and waved it slightly, a small flicker of light shining from his eyes only for a second as the computer at his desk silently came to life.
Light filled the room as the monitor turned on to show the desktop. Albion smirked to himself. As innovative as the company was, there were at least a few that he kept to himself. More lights flickered from Albion’s eyes. Without moving a muscle, the cursor on screen moved to open an application labeled “Testing.”
The window that opened seemed to show black and white footage of different areas of the lab. The security cameras. Albion lifted a hand and swiped it to the side, switching the cameras to the outdoor cameras of the lab.
Just minutes ago, Albion Tech had rolled out a new update to all their hardware. Thanks to a little sneaky coding, the update contained some special secret features built just for Albion himself. The rabbit continued to swipe his hand, moving the views to different buildings further down the street.
The cameras soon focused on the interior of an office building a few blocks away. Albion paused and lowered his hand. The dark rabbit took a closer look at the screen. It was just a normal office. Every worker hunched over in their little cubicles and working through paperwork. A smirk came across Albion’s face. This would be the perfect place to test out his new software.
The day was like any other for Mike. The bear sat in his cubicle just like he always did. Filling out yet another form and setting it on the stack to the right of his desk.
Then another.
And another.
It would not take too long for the stack of forms to get tall. It never did. The red bear took a glance at the watch on his arm. “Just a few more hours” he muttered to himself as he pushed his chair back slightly. A few more hours before he can go back home, go to bed, and start the day all over again.
Mike let out a sigh, rubbing the temples of his face as he stood up. He lifted the stack of forms from his desk and turned around. About time to turn this batch of papers in. Then he can get started on a fresh stack.
The bear took a few steps out of his cubicle and looked to both sides of him. “I turn the stacks in… The right office,” Mike whispered to himself before turning right and making his way down the line of cubicles. Glancing into a few, the bear could see more and more coworkers doing the same repetitive movements as he did.
Mike stopped a few feet away from the door leaving the room. Being a couple feet taller than the other creatures around, he was able to see just over the top of the cubicles. All the way down to the other side of the room. Hundreds of desks filling that room alone.
“Nnnf” The bear could feel a tingle run throughout his body, causing him to shut his eyes tight. He fell slightly off balance, though catching himself before he could fall. Mike shook his head and opened his eyes. Something seemed odd. He could see into the cubicles a little better.
“Nnnn” Another wave of tingling ran through him. Once again, the bear shut his eyes tight. It was slightly more intense than the last. He couldn’t keep a hold of his forms this time around, dropping them all to the floor.
Some of the coworkers closest to Mike stopped to see what was going on with the bear who now was clutching his head. Something seemed off with him. He almost looked taller than he was that morning.
“A-Aaah” Mike fell backwards, slamming his back into the wall. Another wave had run through him. Once again, more intense than the last. Opening his eyes, Mike noticed that his perspective didn’t seem to change even though he was now sitting down. One of the workers standing close to Mike seemed smaller than before to the bear. Something’s not right.
This time, the wave that ran through the bear was intense enough to be heard to those close enough to him. Mike closed his eyes as his body let out an audible rumble. His body inching up the wall as it did. The bear’s feet pressed against the cubicle in front of him. The building crowd of workers around Mike started to mutter, watching as the bear’s head rose closer to the ceiling.
The wave didn’t stop for a good couple of seconds longer than the others. Long enough that Mike’s head thumped against the roof above him.
“W-What is going on?” The bear muttered to himself. His voice rumbled through the workers closest to him. The crowd all stared at the large bear with wide eyes. They all knew something was wrong, yet they were all frozen in place.
The rumbling sound of another growth spurt filled the room, followed by the moans of the growing bear. He had to lean forwards to keep his head from pressing against the roof, though that did not stop his feet from tipping over a few walls of the cubicles in front of him.
A full minute of growth passed as the room became more and more cramped. More cubicles toppled over at the mercy of the bear’s growing legs. The rumbling sound of his growth soon filling the whole building. The crowd that once surrounded the bear had long left. Followed by anyone else left in the building.
Yet the growth was not stopping. The bear had to fold himself more so he wouldn’t tear through the roof, yet it seemed like it was going to be inevitable. A blush filled the bear’s cheeks. The room was getting tighter and tighter. While the rumbling of his growth was getting louder and louder. Mike’s feet pressing against the wall at the other end of the room.
The sound of cracks started to fill the air, joining the rumbling of Mike’s growth. Small bits of the roof starting to dust his fur. Mike could no longer hide the smile on his face. The larger the bear grew, the better his growth started to feel. And it was already starting to feel so good.
The sound of the roof cracking around the bear only grew more intense as it was joined by the walls cracking around the bear’s feet. Chunks of the roof started to crumble around him. The room was not going to last long for the growing bear. Mike shut his eyes tight. He could not take it any longer. The room was getting too tight for him.
Slowly, the growing bear adjusted himself to sit up. Debris of the roof fell all around him. Sunlight filled the bear’s eyes once he opened them again. Simply sitting up had left the bear taller than a few of the two-story buildings around him. He let out a chuckle, rumbling the ground as he did.
The bear took slow motions to stand himself up. He lifted his feet out of the debris and stepped out onto the road in front of what used to be the office the bear worked in. Mike stared at the pile left from his continuing growth with a grin.
Mike lifted his arms, stretching them out with a loud moan as he surged even larger. What once was a bear that could barely see over some cubicles was now a hundred-foot-tall bear able to see over buildings.
Mike looked down at the street below him. Cars drove around his feet, trying to get away just like the specs of people lining the sidewalks. The bear lifted one foot and stomped it down on the parking lot in front of the office, sending a loud THOOM to echo around the city. Dust rose around the bear who let out a deep chuckle.
“Bigger” The bear said to himself. As if on command, another wave of growth started to flow through him. The air around the bear gaining a slight green glow. The growing bear let out a loud moan, falling against the skyscraper next to him. With little effort, the building tilted over and fell to the ground, sending the growing bear down with it.
The huge bear lay on his back, staring at the sky. He let out a few deep breaths before wincing his eyes shut. The green glow of growth around the bear became more intense. A few more buildings fell to the ground around him. More and more the bear grew, nearly doubling in size from the growth spurt as his feet toppled over some buildings across the whole block.
Back in Albion Labs, Albion himself watched through the cameras with glee as the bear grew. Inside the bear were special Albion Labs-branded nanobots. Originally, they were used as a replacement for caffeine. Though thanks to the new software update, Albion was able to harness them to alter the size of anyone who had them.
The irises of Albion’s eyes started to glow red the bigger the bear was getting. With each surge of growth he commanded on the bear, more and more energy was needed from the nanobots. They weren’t built to go through so much strain. At this point, it was becoming painful for Albion to give the command. He had to stop.
Albion fell back against his seat, the red glow from his eyes died down as he cut his connection to the bear’s nanobots. Though that didn’t mean the rabbit was unsatisfied with the result. The most recent growth he commanded on the bear had easily surged him through the roof of the office.
After a few seconds of silence, Albion perked up. Through the cameras, he could see the bear doing something. A glow seeming to come from him. Albion’s eyes widened as he saw the bear surge even larger without his command. Impossible! Only he was able to control the nanobots like that!
Albion stood up, tossing his chair behind him which fell over as he saw the glow around the bear become even brighter. The bear was growing even bigger! The nanobots should have been fried at this point with the strain they must be going through!
Mike sat himself up and looked around. He could already tell he was much taller than before. Simply sitting up gave him a higher point of view than he had before he had fallen over. The bear could not contain his excitement. The energy he once only felt during his growth was now constantly flowing through him. Even when he wasn’t growing. And it felt good.
Mike stood up, giving himself another stretch. He looked around him before letting out a loud chuckle, quaking the ground around him. At his current size, the bear was easily taller than the largest skyscraper in the city. Nothing could compare to the size of the bear now.
The bear’s ear flicked and he looked to his left. He lifted his arm to itch behind it. Something was tugging at the bear’s mind. Almost pulling him somewhere. The bear lifted a foot, causing dust to trail behind it. A crater was left in the same shape of the bear’s paw. The foot fell to the ground with a loud THOOM as the bear took a single step forward. He did not know where he was going, but he knew he had to get there.
It was scientifically Impossible! Albion was frantically going through documentation of his nanobots. Countless tests. Both public and private ones all left the same conclusion! Once the subject was a couple hundred feet tall, the nanobots would simply burn out with the power needed to grow them any larger!
Yet he just seen with his own eyes that such research simply was not true! How did the bear keep growing? And why did it cause him to glow? He had to find out! This was the scientific breakthrough he was looking for! He must find what is fueling the bear’s growth at this point!
THOOM
It was distant. Quiet. Yet intense enough to fill the room with a gentle rumble. It caused Albion to freeze.
THOOM
The room rumbled a little more. The sound was closer this time. Albion’s eyes grew wide.
THOOM
It was the bear. There was no denying it. The bear was on the move. Closer and closer even.
THOOM
The room shook more, sending Albion onto his desk. He held onto it so he would not fall to the floor. Why would the bear be coming this way?
THOOM
It was the last step the bear made, shaking the room enough that the desk itself fell over, sending Albion to the floor. Albion slowly turned to face the only windows in his room. His mouth fell open as a bright green light shone through the curtains and filled the room.
Albion sat still for a moment before scrambling to his feet. He took a few hesitant steps towards the window. Letting out an audible gulp, Albion grabbed the curtains and slowly slid them open.
Albion’s jaw practically fell to the ground. Looking through the window, an eye larger than Albion himself was staring back at him. Glowing bright green with the energy of growth coursing through it. The gigantic eye winced shut as the room rumbled. It lasted for a good minute before the eye opened once again, larger than it was just moments before.
Albion’s obvious awe soon faded into a wide grin. The gigantic bear grinning back at him. His scientific breakthrough just walked into his backyard, and it looks like he is ready for whatever Albion would throw at him.

I’m still losing my mind over this because this was incredible! Thank you so much for the story, it’s probably one of the best things someone has written for me. I seriously and deeply appreciate it and your love of Dr. Albion Reis.
Who can resist Albion? Not many can..
Who can resist Albion? Not many can..
This is a 9 page (At least in the PDF with its formatting) story. One of the longest ones I wrote so far.
Thanks though!
Thanks though!
Me: i. I don't have a picture thing for you. :(
Mike: no picture thing for me?
Me: well... They're expensive. I'll tell you what, maybe next time i'll get a picture of what you become. But for now, you'll become mike.
Mike: i'll become me... Sweet ok. Let's work on your invention.
Me: to the secret lab!
*does the cartwheel and said*
Me:pull the lever mike.
*we shocked as the scientists and doctors scream of joy when they ran outside and i use the button to speak on the mic*
Me: False alarm, false alarm! Back to your rooms you pinbrains!
