A lot of Therapy is typically one person talking about their selves for an extended amount of time, especially when it is about difficult topics that require a lot of dissecting. So it`s quite good that this Doctor goes into detail and tries to fully explain his thoughts on the matter. After all, that is what you essentially pay them to do.
To be fair we have probably skipped a portion where Bradley would talk about his situation and as the Doctor has mentioned, he is already quite aware of it.

Just a note. A Therapist serving a client that is in a personal relationship with another client is called a conflict of interest and is highly unproffessional and potentially an actionable offense. What is definitely actionable is mentioning treating the other client and reading that client's racey story about this client. That violates patient confidentiality and could be a serious criminal offense. I want to note this here for anyone reading because mental health is important and a lot of media does not portray therapy in an honest or knowledgeable light and that can actually be potentially destruction tive
No problem! Hope my 2 cents here are helpful. I love Kimmy's work here, but I just want to be a voice of reason as I know a lot of people read slice of life stories and take them as an honest look at how things are when often they are highly fanciful and so feel that sometimes it's important to be "That guy" and say "Well, actually..." LOL
Yes, in the real world this behavior is quite bad and should be avoided, I agree with that.
However, as far as storytelling goes; this character has already been established as a therapist, so coming up with another character just for one page and then having to explain who they are before we get to the point is something I feel that the story could do without. A little bit of writing shorthand so to speak.
And as always, this comic is a work of fiction, things should not be taken in as absolute when regarding their real-life counterparts.
Thanks for calling this one out, Dusk! :)
