Then there's the gator's eyes. They show a cartoonish daze after his considerable bulk is rolled over the first time. After the second time, when it's all spread flat as a pancake, his eyes are in a wacky pair of opposing directions. Then, he blinks and his eyes dart upward as if to read the message.
