‘Get your gross tongue off of me,… you overgrown tar bubble,…’
“I hate tar,… I mean I Really hate tar,… it’s probably the hardest thing to get out of on the island, with how thick and sticky it is,… and do you have any idea how hard it is to get this stuff out of my hair? I pretty much need to take a lava bath to burn it all off, and there is no getting it off my leaves,…
Even worse than getting stuck in a tar pit is having to deal with a ‘Tar Toad’,… another kind of Muck Beast,… frog-like creatures made of living tar. They dwell in some of the tar pits along the edges of the Boneyard, where the Necromancers are laired, the toads seem to avoid them and their undead minions, but are not shy about going after others who wander near the Boneyard.
Like the sand snakes they can’t leave the tar pools they are a part of, but unlike the snakes they don’t just wait for someone to stumble in before they strike. They lay hidden until they sense something nearby, then suddenly rise up and lash out a long tongue of sticky tar to ensnare their targets and drag them into their tar pools and towards their massive mouths. So yeah, as if tar wasn’t bad enough already,…
They are probably the most simple-minded of the Muck Beasts, not bothering with scare tactics, or active hunting, they just sit there until something comes along and then they latch on and don’t let go. The worst part is that their stickiness makes them really hard to fight, and the more you fight and struggle the more stuck you get, all the while sinking deeper in,… I really hate tar, and Tar Toads.”
From the marvelous toughset comes the third and final Muck Beast to menace Ember, the terrible Tar Toad, which is bound to cause nothing but problems for our jungle heroine. ;).
That is certainly one menacing looking toad there, between its sheer size, the gooey looking tar, and how it drips and oozes from it, and the little hints of bones sticking out are a great touch, not to mention those eyes and how ominous they make it look. Ember looks great, as always, her expression and posing giving a great sense of struggling and straining, and a nice view of her backside as well. What really strikes me about this whole image is how thick and gooey and sticky the tar looks, as it clings to Ember’s thighs, and oozes around her. The way it is mounded up in front of her gives a great sense of the toad’s tongue pulling her along through the ooze, accented by the swaying of her leaves and her hair trailing behind her on the surface. The rocky terrain around then, and that big skull show off a nice glimpse of the area and the Boneyard beyond, truly a bad place to be and an even worse situation to be in. Ember is definitely going to need a lava bath after this.
What do you think? :D.

Yeee. This is probably my fav of the sentient mud creatures. It just seems so thicc in many ways -w-
I'm glad you like it so much, and yeah, it definitely does seem very thick, in a number of ways. :)
Tar Toads. Act like the real thing. They eat literally anything near them. And to see one made of tar and as big as this one, it's a really scary sight to see. But still, to see it have yellow eyes really beings a wonderful touch to the beast :). And to see it grapple Ember like this, it's exactly how it would catch prey. Not to mention does show a good angle of her butt I cannot lie ;)
Yeah, I'd say that definitely goes for these things too, and yeah, quite the imposing beast there. I agree, the yellow eyes are a very nice touch, and bring alot more life to the toad, and yeah, a good depiction of how it hunts. A very good angle indeed. ;)
It sure does, and it sure is. Yup, just like the real thing ;)
Interesting to hear that when Ember gets stuck in tar, she doesn't wash her clothes, but just has to throw them away and get new ones, at least saves taking them off before a lava bath.
And hey, while Ember is fighting the tar toad, her boobs and butt seem to be fighting over attention. ;)

Yeah, I imagine the stickiness of tar would make it nearly impossible, or perhaps simply too much trouble to get off of her leaves, and yeah, does save the trouble of trying to get them off before a lava bath. Haha, yeah, both seem to give quite the good view in this picture. ;)
Well I got no doubt about that one, trying to clean it off would just result in it sticking to whatever she's using to clean it with, so yeah, much easier to just burn them off. Oh indeed they do. ;)
Yeah, definitely quite difficult to clean normally, so her being fire-proof definitely gives her an easy option in that regard. ;)
Oh defiantly seems like it, as long as she finds a way to bring spares with her. ;)
Indeed, and she keeps a supply of replacement leaves for when she needs them. ;)
Well yeah, but having to collect them from her treehouse when she's covered in tar would get that stuff all over her house. ;)
Yeah, that is a good point, maybe she keeps a stash of them near the Fire Caves for just such a time as this. ;)
Indeed, at long last. :)
Yeah, probably not what people were expecting, but the sticky tar seemed fitting to me for the sticky tongue tip of a frog. :)

Man, these mucky beasts just keep coming out of everywhere and everything, aren't they?
Gotta wonder how Nightshade Island's guardian is going to get herself out of this one.
That is a very good question, and something she is likely wondering as well at the moment. ;)
And since frogs and toads are often prey to snakes, this tar toad might retreat at the sight of a very much angered Ozzy.
Hmm,... possibly, most animals on the island do tend to run away from Ozzy, largely due to his size, but I haven't figured yet if that would apply to the Muck Beasts too, given their nature.
I love this, Deth! Very lovely backside view as she's dragged towards the tar toad's maw!
I'm glad you love it :) It is quite the view of her backside indeed. ;)
