After waiting for over a year, I decided it was about time to show my latest Pokémon Type family portrait! This time, the Water type will be in the spotlight! From the big open seas surrounding the various regions, to the indoor aquariums containing all kinds of coral and other aquatic plant-life; from calm rivers and quiet beaches to violent whirlpools and roaring waterfalls; these Pokémon love to frolic around in the water! Sometimes you encounter them inside abandoned ship wrecks; sometimes they're present inside dripping flooded cavern systems; and other times, they're just out in the open, often residing near beaches or even harbors and shipyards. And let's not forget that many of these liquid-loving beings tend to do very well in Contests! 💦
Did you know? The blurry effects on the text featured in this picture wasn't intentional -- I originally wanted to make the portrait's title more visible so it's easier to read. But after putting it in and seeing what effect it has on the deep blue background... I think it works, in a way I wasn't expecting. But still, very coincidental, and I'm actually OK with this upload having this unintended side-effect. 😉

Is the Buizel line one of them?
I mostly used pure Water types for this portrait, although there might be some exceptions.
You might be surprised by this, but Seel is a pure Water type.
Kingdra though, IS indeed dual typed. It is a Gen II Water/Dragon type.

Seel is a pure Water type, but its evolution is Water/Ice type.
I always thought that was cool (no pun intended).

Water is my favorite type of Pokemon. If I were a Gym Leader, I'd love to be a part of the Cerulean Gym showing my stuff with a DUCKLETT, LAPRAS, and PIPLUP.

I love the way you described the various places and situations you have these Pokemon appearing in. It really gives a great feel for just how vast the world is and how many 'Water Types' are out there and waiting to be encountered.
Extra points for how you came to enjoy the effect you never intended to use. It reminds me of how Bob Ross would say how there is no such thing as a mistake as they often become 'Happy Accidents'.

Thank you so much!
Yeah! That part about ''happy accidents'' is a really smart and positive way to look at it!
Also, that could be an idea for a little comic, like a Regression Comic where the main character would eventually be wearing a diaper and has an accident, but he or she calls it ''a happy accident''.
