Nov 25, 2042- Day 66
I know that this event was coming along and I was given full permission to push it off as long as I felt like. But Chris felt it was about time for me to try and see how I take to dealing with some live food. So he went out and brought me a feeder mouse to try out. Biologically it should be fine enough for me to deal with this. At this point there should be almost no risk of getting sick from it.
And yet, at the same time, there is still that whole issue regarding actually taking a life. Thankfully this time it ended up being not even something I had to do myself. I tried to will myself to even consider it but then Felix decided to take it into his own paws and then killed it for me and left it at my feet..
I did end up getting myself to eat it. But only after dumping a bunch of barbeque sauce on it, closing my eyes and then chewing it as quickly as I felt comfortable until I could swallow. The taste actually wasn’t that big of a problem. The thing that really kept me for a loop was the crunching of the bones.

Why force her to eat a live mouse? Foxes are omnivores and do not have to take specific diet.
