I had been searching for several years for one before finally getting this one.
Within the next couple of days, I'll have a jeweled Boar's head sterling silver biker's ring for sale on furbid. let me know if you may be interested, and I can do a private sale for you.
I'll get pics and all that ready for the auction, or to send your way.

Well, send me some pics and I'll know if I want to make an offer. I quite appreciate the heads up.
I had no idea you're a pipe smoker. I do indulge every now and again in a pipe myself.
I do indeed. Not as much as cigars, but pipe tobacco comes in so many tasty blends. Next I'm I'm in NC, we'll have to smoke and draw and drink some beer.
That is one awesome pipe. What is it made out of? It looks like carved wood from my end.
Pipes are art forms in themselves sometimes.

The pipe is made out of a kind of stone known as meerschaum.
It is very easily carved and makes great pipes.

woooo nice one. ive only got briar pipes atm, but i will invest in a meerschaum one soooon :o
Just so long as you're enjoyin' the smoke, it doesn't matter if its meerschaum, briar or a cheap ol' corn cob pipe.
It should bring you...pleasure.

Dude this is a simply beautiful pipe! I love the detailing! I demand detail shots!
Isn't it? I'll be taking some nice shots of it and putting them up tomorrow.
Oh man, yes! I'm gonna have to find one for myself!! (Or learn to carve Meerschaum, HA)
And the best part...so far it smokes really well.
It is as functional as it is gorgeous.

that's definitely a bonus!!
all of my pretty pipes aren't exactly the best for smoking out of.

Maybe we should start a pipe meme.

gasp!
i so completely would, but my prettiest PRETTIEST pipe is lost to the world somewhere (i can only assume stolen by my renegade teenage sister)
the only ones i am totally sure of are my glass ones, which are nothing special. i have a jaguar pipe made out of cacao husk and llama's bone which is pretty nifty. it must be somewhere around here, i'll see if i can dig it up ;)

Whoa! That's cool! Amazing what you can find on the internet, aint it?
What sucks is...the one that I missed. This is the left-over. Oh the vagaries of Ebay.
I wasn't wearing my glasses when I first saw this and I thought you deep fried your pipe.
Now I see that that isn't the case, rather you just own a REALLY COOL PIPE
Man that thing is great.

That's a splendid, tasty boar pipe you have there, ole' Chap.
Back when I was young and clueless (as opposed to merely clueless), I thought that meerschaum was made from actual sea foam.
That was about the time when I secretly tried smoking a cigarette, blew into it instead of inhaling, and didn't get what all the fuss was about.

Oh, is that- *reads the comments* ah-ha, it is meerschaum. A lot of reaaaally neat pipes carved out of that. I have a buffalo one myself, though not nearly as colored as yours. It seems to have seen a pretty good amount of use from that lovely amber hue. Gorgeous!
