Threat to Light (Boss Theme)
I suggest dropping the volume bar to like half before listening.
This is NOT a finished piece and is subject to change, or may be missing elements that I plan to add later.
This is a SAFE BGM!
Any music pieces that I label as a SAFE BGM are made with Soundfonts that I know for certain are legal for commercial use and are also intended to be safe for streaming etc.
Unless otherwise stated, if you wish to share it, (IE: listen while streaming) or wish to remix/ arrange, you may do so freely. All I ask for is to be credited/linked for the original work. And if you're arranging or remixing it, I'd love to see what you come up with, so don't forget to show me!
The only case wherein I absolutely want to confirm permission is if the intent of use of a composition or arrangement thereof would be commercial in nature itself. IE: you want to use it for an original game project.
If in doubt, just ask me, I don't bite! My goal is to provide the community at large with vgm/bgm style tracks that can be used safely, while holding true to a particular franchise's spirit.
My main style influence is Kingdom Hearts, more specifically Birth By Sleep. Yoko Shimomura is definitely my biggest inspiration. I have also done a little study on the work of Motoi Sakuraba, Aarata Iiyoshi, Nobuo Uematsu, Yasunori Mitsuda, and Shota Kageyama.
I have no formal training or musical theory knowledge, I've just learned by doing what sounds good to me.
Most of the instruments save for the synths (Which is an FL Studio default) were from the EastWest Goliath kit, which I will continue to say is definitely worth it.

You used FL studio for this?
Or other program?
Any way to give some like tips or teaching for those who are starting?

Any way to give some like tips or teaching for those who are starting?
All my music is made in FL Studio. I use FL Studio synths along with Soundfonts.
I'm unsure how to give tips to anyone who is starting, because I am not a professional (at least I don't think I'd say that even if my work is pretty good sometimes) I have no formal training, no real understanding of music theory proper, can't even read sheet music and barely know maybe a handful of terms to even describe things. My journey of learning music really has been easily comparable to my artwork-- Kind of just throwing myself at it until something sticks, finding what works and what doesn't.
I will say, it pays to analyze the music you enjoy, maybe even try to replicate it in FL Studio, especially by ear/memory rather than using premade midi. I almost NEVER use midi, and if I do, I've never used that midi in anything I've posted. Starting out with replicating melodies, arranging and remixing will help you to come up with an idea of what a song structure should contain. I listen almost exclusively to video game music these days, seldom listening to traditional music in the genres like rock etc. I'm almost never NOT listening to a bgm these days whatever I'm doing. I can't say as to whether that's an option, a viable way to learn, or what, but I think the idea is learning subconsciously in a similar vein to those who play things in their sleep to try to absorb some of it. Alot like learning in drawing, music is an art, and your greatest strength will be observation and the ability to apply that observation.
