For a few posts now there's been mention of the kits that Celestial A.I. offers, but there has been little detail of what goes into them, so I thought I'd make a little journal entry here to explain some of the details of what is on offer! While selecting a kit, purchasers set a preferred voice choice from a large list of options, set in the personality parameters, and then select the kit they wish to order and have installed (either through a Celestial technician or the buyer if desired)

Minimalist kit: The bare minimum of what Celestial A.I. can offer for a vehicle, the minimalist kit is simply the A.I. module and little else, allowing it to be hooked up to basically any vehicle that has some level of electronics that can support it and power the module. With the A.I. module installed, it takes in sound through a set of microphones that are installed in the vehicle at various places. It also feeds the A.I. voice of the user's choosing through the speakers, allowing your newly awakened vehicle to sound truly alive.

Entry kit: The entry kit is the best place to start if you're looking to simply have an A.I. vehicle companion join you for the ride. This kit includes the speech module, as well as the eye projectors. These are installed in place of the original headlight assembly, and function like regular headlights normally. However, entry kit buyers get to choose the "eyes" of their vehicle from a large list of customization options, ranging from shape, colour, reflection, and eyelashes. These eyes project onto the special housings, making them visible against the surface of the light covers, while allowing light to shine through as normal. These move about realistically like a human's eyes, further making your vehicle feel alive.

Moderate kit: The moderate kit is the most common choice for buyers, as it has a perfect mix of options without getting into the higher level of additions the advanced kit offers. The moderate kit includes speech, eye projectors, and newly added autonomous control. These are built specifically for vehicles that have cruise control (and are further enhanced by vehicles with sensors and autonomous braking. These enhancements can be achieved via 3rd party dashcam and/or parking sensor installations). While this upgrade is fun for when the buyer is outside of the vehicle, we advise any purchasers of this kit ensure they remain attentive while driving! Autonomous control cannot fully replace the capabilities of a driver (and the A.I. is limited in what it can do in terms of accident prevention and overall situational awareness)

Advanced kit: The most expensive kit available, this kit offers everything in the previous kits, as well as a large amount of specially designed sensors that are installed on the inside and outside of the vehicle. One sensor is placed beneath the metal of each outside panel, one within each door panel inside the vehicle, as well as various locations within the mechanics of the vehicle (one per wheel assembly, inside the suspension, within the engine itself, among a few others). These sensors detect movement, temperature changes, and touch, and can be further tuned for how the A.I. responds to these via the personality parameters section. The advanced kit also allows the ability to upgrade via additional modules. These are able to be installed individually, allowing a buyer to very specifically fine tune their new A.I. companion to their liking.

[Advanced kit modules]
- Blushing front signal lights: The front signal lights get a similar treatment with the eye projectors, allowing pink light to shine through at various brightness levels (which can be further tied into the personality parameters)
- Slotted expanding and retracting tailpipe: The tailpipe is replaced with curved pieces of metal that make a rifled barrel-like shape, where the slots of metal can tighten to an inch in diameter or widen to 3 inches in diameter.
- External grabbers: Slotted metal retracting arms are installed underneath the vehicle that expand to a total length of 8 feet, with angular "fingers" that reach out in a + shape, allowing them to take hold and lift objects up to 20 lbs.
- Internal grabbers: The same as the external grabbers, except they can expand to a total length of 4 feet, with a weight capacity of 10 lbs.
- Circular grabber arm tip: Replaces one of the internal grabber + tips with a circular tube-like tip with similar slotted design and features as the slotted tailpipe option.
- Lubrication piping: A lubricant reservoir is installed into the engine bay, with several pipes routed to the location(s) of choice, which can include several of our advanced kit module options.
