After traveling for so long, many years after he had inadvertently planeswalked away from his home plane of Kaladesh, Fenrir came back to the plane one of the first major battles he took part in. What once was a desolate battlefield within Innistrad had grown into a quiet dark forest. Many infernal creatures dwelled here but they were nothing the more experienced bard can't handle.
"Ah, here we are. Sorry for making you wait for so long everyone." The wolf remarked after reaching his destination.
The thing, or rather things he addressed were mere spirits. Remnants of the church of Avacyn who had accepted Fenrir and sheltered the wolf during a time an unknown corruption that overtook the plane. He found it strange considering they didn't seem the type, but there were already
werewolves that were given a chance by Avacyn herself before he even came there. In his later years, he had heard of a band of planeswalkers that had sealed the source of the problem away. His friends whom were priests, soldiers, and normal citizens had fought to protect their home while he had supported them with his songs. In his inexperience and first lack of judgment in his life he had bitten more off than he can chew. So his comrades had chosen to continue fighting to the end while they told him to run since 'this wasn't his fight' and that he had a longer life to live. He had no choice but to take their advice and randonly planeswalk away.
Since then he had his fair share of laughs, tears, and betrayals. He wasn't the reckless naive wolf but now a true bard with a sole purpose in life. He took a deep breath before he held out his hand to begin the spell to put his old friends to rest. He wanted this to be a proper sendoff to not heroes, but normal people defending their home.
"I'm sorry it took me this long to say this to you all but, I hope we meet again someday."
I loved the art of this so much I thought it'd be fair to flex my writing muscles a bit. Especially after getting into MTG again. I've seen a few in this site who inserted their OC into the multiverse and thought, "Why not join the fun?"
Thank you to BigGoodWolf for the awesome YCH art!
