This was something I had to do after hearing about the leaked supreme court documents.
Now, to be blunt, I've been a big enjoyer of pregnancy art and the like for many years. And, well, over the years, I've had to contront myself over my beliefs on motherhood and pregnancy. And, I believe motherhood is a beautiful thing. Pregnancy is something I wish I could experience.
However, it should NOT be forced on someone unwilling or unable to carry a child to term, for any reason. I could sit here and list all the "legitimate" reasons a mother might need an abortion, but frankly, someone's reason for one is nobody's business, and shouldn't be used to try and gatekeep people over any "edge cases" that anti-choice individuals use as strawwomen in their arguments.
And I know I'm only going to get even more controversial over this statement, but while it is a huge issue for women nationwide, it's not just a women's issue. It also affects many trans and gender non-conforming individuals who also need access to abortion should they need access to it.
I used myself and Zoey to try and drive the point home. Because even though I would adore being pregnant, and Zoey is literally the child of a fertility deity, we both believe that PREGNANCY SHOULD NOT BE FORCED ON ANYONE!
Anyways, I'm calling on other pregnancy fans to spread this message with their own art or posts, if possible.
Sorry this cut the queue in front of owed commissions, but this was important to me.
Pls Gimme Ko-Fi?

SOMEONE FINALLY CAME OUT AND SAID IT THANK YOU
Frankly this entire situation infuriates me to no end--especially since I am aware of a few sexist pigs on this site who have a preg fetish but, in fact, do NOT care about the women behind them. As a woman myself, I have attempted time and time again to explain to people why this bugs me, but of course someone without a uterus would never understand that issue :P
Here's hoping those crusty old fucks in the Court get what's coming to them...

I will admit that while I personally do not have a uterus, I know a thing or two about how important bodily autonomy is, and how it's nobody's Fuckigj business to legislate other people's private parts and anatomy, and I know many people who do have one who are rightfully terrified at this legislation possibility.
Myself included ><
I absolutely agree as well; peoples' bodies are their own and whatever they choose to do with them, regardless of how "taboo" it is, is NONE of the government's goddamn business and not their position to decide. It almost feels like a personal violation and of course that's never going to be acceptable.

I think abortion should be legal, but should have restrictions on it. in a religious way, I feel as if when a woman is confirmed to be healthy enough to give birth safely, she should be restricted from an abortion. Adoption is actually quite easy to do, unless the mother changes her mind and wants the child. I feel like many people take away the lime light from women who actually need them. People who do this are often the ones who say "my body my choice" which if you go more in depth on this statement, it's quite possibly the most selfish thing anyone can say. Basically what I'm trying to say is that people need to learn actions have consequences. With of course unprotected sex being one of them.
That's just me belief though.
I'm for abortion when it comes to safety, rape, etc.
Basically I feel bad for the women who always wanted to be a mother or have another child, only to find out they could die doing so. And also for women who've been assaulted. As do to many people feeling like they should be allowed to get an abortion whenever. I guess I just wish the world was more humble
Also last thing: I'm also not saying women who are at risk NEED an abortion, as it should be up to them.

? If your butthurt by a simple opinion like this, you have no right to post your own. Also kind of hypocritical you call out people for fetishization when you yourself is making fetish art over a social issue.
I literally just quoted my own description. Also, you're the one posting paragraphs about banning abortion on fetish art. And I know this is fetish art, it's to be noted in the fetish art community that their fetish material has real life ramifications on real life women and GNC folks.
Trans woman by all means are true people. And deserve rights. However, you cannot argue with mother nature. Trans women cannot reproduce, as their body anatomy cannot and will not support human life.
Asides that, I agree with you.

As a pro choice Christian(I’m the only democrat in my household), I tried to remind one of my folks about the Bible stories where God killed lots of babies and children, but they weren’t having any of that. The process of getting myself out of a fundamentalist mindset in all aspects was slow, the U.S. diocese dogma kool-aid that “abortion is murder” is now all balderdash in my eyes. Back earlier in my “teen”days, the youth group teachers brainwashed me into believing that “all life is sacred from conception to natural death”, but even still deep down I knew that something was wrong with that mindset so I simply stopped going to youth group. God’s love endures forever right? So I guess I shouldn’t feel bad about having the opinion that euthanasia of the human fetus is healthcare.
Of all the things I’ve had to unlearn… I agree with you!!
