For SkyCharger
Many odd rumors circled around an old colorful mansion. Mansion that never got older despite never seeing outside renovations. Curious peekers catching glimpses of brand new furniture through the window.
One of the rumors caught Sky’s interest, the rumor that promised him an experience of quite an unusual body! Swallowing his fear, Sky ventured inside.
The main set of doors was never closed in this place, which only made it more attractive for the “haunted mansion” rumor… but when the doors suddenly slammed shut after Sky took a few steps in, it was too late to reconsider this adventure.
Carefully creeping forward though clean, but dark and lonely rooms, he hasn't found anyone for a while. Was he going in circles? Were rooms repeating? But then there it was, a very obvious set of doors to the main hall.
Pushing the door open and meekly walking inside, Sky was greeted by the host of the place. Crimson red, winged, not quite riolu, their eyes were piercing his very soul.
Invited to come closer, Sky took in his surroundings, tables, chairs, shelves, candelabras, various other decor… just like the furniture in other rooms, were painted pokemon colors and patterns, but with one key difference…
A good number of those objects gazed at him, with big cartoonish eyes, their normally inanimate bodies shuddering and wobbling, seemingly from remembering the glimpses of mobility they used to have… It is true then… the rumors are true…
The host began to converse with Sky, his words honeyed and polite, but with the voice eerie and soul-crushing. Sky had no choice, but to let bare his intentions.
A vicious grin on homeowner’s face showed unnaturally long fangs, Sky only managed a meep as the world spun around him, before he felt pointed tips painfully sink into his neck.
Rapidly, unneringly, he felt his energy seep out of him, not even his blood, but his very life. His paws going numb and stiff, with lack of something special inside to keep them moving, they started to reshape into something much more still. In those fleeting moments, it all made sense. If a vampire steals your life, with nothing to keep your body moving, it will become inanimate! The rest of his body creaked and squished trying to jitter and bend around artificial material growing inside.
Parting with the remaining bits of life, Sky finally realized that he took the shape of a fancy victorian style throne. Shocked and unraveled, Sky stared at his new owner with his still animate eyes… “does this vampire find an odd joy in leaving that last piece of life inside his furniture?” - he thought.
The old color-faded chair was swiftly tossed out of the room, with Sky being plonked down in its place. Crimson riolu happily plopped into his seat. That is when the sensations of this new body really started to sink into Sky, the sensitivity on cushions, the weight of his handles and legs. Vampolu caressed the cushion on Sky’s chair back, pushing him into a desperate wiggle, his captor looking very happy to be rocked around in his quivering chair body.
“Yes, please do keep wiggling longer, it’s no fun when my toys give up and stop moving.”
