Oh heeeey!
I’ve made a new YCH today. Pretty excited to perform this one, so I’ll tell ya a little backstory:
I usually see deeply surreal but at the same time expressive things right before falling asleep. I built a habit to keep a pencil and a pack of stickers on my bedside table so I could quickly make a thumbnail or a note in such moments. Otherwise, it will be gone forever, no matter how important I thought it was at the moment.
Yesterday I captured this. Lately, I truly enjoy just remaining silent and listening to whatever is happening around me.
This drawing actually has the additional interpretations: with bloodspots all around the character, and with subtitles of “Little April Showers” lyrics - this is what the character was supposed to sing, or, to be more precise, to moan, according to the original idea.
I will send you sketches with these additional details, so you can decide, wheatear you want them or not. The price won’t change.
