Figured I'd upload it here too since furaffinity allows to upload music.
Quadralien is an action-puzzle game from 1988 where the goal is to move robots around cleaning radioactive debris and other stuff.
Never understood how to play this game as a kid but I always liked the chiptune PC speaker music it had. Then as an adult I found out this game was also available for the Commodore Amiga and the Atari ST, and the background music was equally killer in their own versions.
A couple months ago I decided I wanted to remix this song getting inspiration from all three versions, and today I cleaned it up and finished it. Also recorded gameplay of the game, fumbling around the first stage barely knowing the controls and finding out *after* I was done with the recordings that I was also supposed to clean the floors from radioactive residue... anyway the game is headache inducing but it's really interesting.
Watch my gameplay video of it here (with this remixed music in the background)

(updated v2: fixed the tremolos near the end of the loop, they were wrong)
As a bonus here's the Impulse Tracker file (without plugins and effects):

The entire song loops 4 times, twice at a different key.
Made using OpenMPT, a couple VSTi (ToxicIII, INTRO), and an assortment of samples.
Man it's amazing I've been using that program longer than I've been posting art online lmao
Here's the other versions for comparison

Oh man yeah Ross’ video on this is how I discovered anything about this game to start with. An intriguing concept but it feels a bit busy to me to actually play, but maybe I should give it a proper shot.
Excellent remix! I am a sucker for anything dramatic and electronic and this checks off both boxes with vigour.
