Yew trees contain taxine, especially in the seeds. An oil made from these seeds makes a fast acting poison. But since Rossweisse is Aesir and a minor goddess, Earthly poisons won't work on her.

You only need do it here and there to set the scene, you'll see most of the panels here have little or no background at all.

Like the first four on this page. No real background is needed unless the scene calls for it. Such as the last panel where it shows the place she's in and how far she is from the Empress and proximity to other inhabitants.
