Azerrumin's holy symbol is a locked gate with two matching keys.
The gate symbolizes fate, and the two keys symbolize control of that fate. By praying to Azerrumin, you take one key in your hand but leave the other in his - no one can be fully in control of their own fate. This duality is an important part of Azerrumin's faith. One should never lay down and accept the fate given to them, even if a bad end seems certain. Make fate work for it.
Gate of the Found Fate
This round locked gate measures about 6 inches across. Its 2 gold-trimmed doors open outward when unlocked. A matching pair of keys hangs from the door. When a creature uses a key to open the gate, it opens to reveal an enchanted mirror that shows the creature in bad-ends that they find arousing, even if the creature is unaware or refuses to acknowledge them as arousing.
If another creature is holding the other key, they become aware of the kinks of the creature who opened the gate.
The Found Fate
Azerrumin's faith is all about achieving the perfect bad end for you, finding your fate as it were. Casual worshippers (those who toss a prayer Azerrumin's way before delving into some dangerous old ruin, or desperately whisper prayers while they're staring up at the butt of a dragon they failed to slay) are sent angels to rescue them. These Fated Encounters typically arrive at the last minute to pull their charge free of whatever Bad End they're currently doomed to, or in some cases after the fact to free them. They stay with their charge for a while, and eventually when the right bad end presents itself, they fumble and fudge to help shove (but never force) their charge toward that end.
But where do Fated Encounters come from? Faithful adherents to the Found Fate become Fated Encounters at some point after achieving their perfect bad end. In the case of instant bad ends (being eaten, crushed, or absorbed) their soul is whisked out of their body after the deed and pulled into Azerrumin's court. In the case of long-term bad ends (being droned, turned into a broodwhore, or made a servant) I imagine their soul could remain in their body until Azerrumin requires their service, at which point they will exit their body (leaving it on autopilot, maybe even still feeding them the stimulation) until they've completed their service, at which point they're put back in and allowed to enjoy their bad end until next time. Or be reborn as a minion in Azerrumin's infernal court to prevent bad-end-burnout.
But what does an adherent of the Found Fate look like? That part took some thinking. There are a few ways you can honor Azerrumin. The first, and easiest, is to always chase your passions even, nay especially, if they would put you in danger of reaching a bad end; Dive dick-first into a gnoll lair and dick down their leader; Exorcise a haunted tomb and bottom a lich until it cums and goes; Raid a dragon's lair and let it stoke the fires of your passion. Every time you narrowly survive what should be a fatal situation, it only makes the eventual fall all the sweeter, and if you're helping make the world a better place? Even better. It is, however, considered bad practice to simply throw oneself into a bad end. The fun is in the chase, but Azerrumin isn't here to tell anyone how to meet their bad end.
The second way is to provide aid to those trapped in, or in danger of meeting horrible bad ends. The more bombastic form this takes is in adventurers delving into dangerous places to free trapped folks. Knocking out a dragon and yanking a knight out of its butthole, ambushing a slave caravan and freeing the thralls, or unpetrifying a fountain piece that everyone just assumed was a regular statue. Bonus points are awarded if you sacrifice yourself to a bad end you find hot in order to save them.
The more mundane method is providing aid and 'funerary' rites to the needy and the bad-ended. Hypnotists to deprogram cultmembers and restore the personalities of drones, hospitaliers to provide safe living spaces for the recently rescued, purifiers to uncurse the cursed, necromancers to raise the unsatisfied dead, and more would be looked kindly upon by Azerrumin. For the family and friends of those who have reached their perfect bad-ends, it can be helpful to inform them that their loved one might be doomed, but they are enjoying their doom. These faithful would likely be found around temples of Salem, the caregiver, since Azerrumin's reach hasn't spread very far, and their goals are similar.
The Order of Fate
The Order of Fate is a rapidly growing knightly organization that seeks to live their best lives, meet their best ends, and help others do the same. Knights of Fate are recognizeable by their headwear, often encorporating Azerrumin's crooked horns, and by their lockets, a locked gate with two identical keys which opens to reveal a mirror.
Knights of Fate organize into capable adventuring parties and seek out those in need of aid, plunging into dangerous dungeons in order to rescue those who have or might meet terrible bad ends. They model themselves after the tales of Fated Encounters, seeking to save folk from terrible fates, while helping to nudge them toward their found fate. Almost every Knight of Fate hopes that one day they will be doomed to their own found fate while aiding others, though they believe it is in bad form to dive into the open arms of a bad end, rather that one should edge their bad end. Every time they narrowly escape fate, it makes the inevitable fall all the sweeter. Knights of Fate are all but guaranteed to become Fated Encounters when they eventually bite it.
The Order of Fate also employs many non-combat adherents who are frequently seen lending aid to those in need. They are the ones who establish and maintain the shrines to Azerrumin, and they can be frequently found wherever aid might be lent. They are frequently found around temples and shrines to Salem, the Caregiver, because of their shared purpose, though some of Salem's priests might side-eye what they consider a death cult.
The Order of Fate's membership is extremely varied. Mentalists who help to deprogram prudes of their repression, to become new people (or non-people); Somber and thoughtful priests who pace crypts riding votive dildos and fucking funerary onaholes to bring satisfaction to the departed; gruff, surly pala-dilfs who yank critters out of their bad ends and into their warm, revitalizing folds before giving them a firm scolding and a supportive hug; and chipper end-of-life advisors who treat their job like a travel agency, getting the old and haggard ready for their Ultimate Vacation with brochures on common bad-ends and where to find them, what toy they'd like to spend the rest of eternity as, or where they might look best as a statue. These are only some of the colorful characters you'd find in the Order of Fate.
