Has someone been reading the Stormlight Archive? I'm getting Horneater vibes. XD
Hah, I HAVE read the Stormlight Archives, though admittedly few years ago. I may have internalized some Unkalaki vibage!
Lichen's convoluted real name reminds me of Ursula Vernon's "Digger" - and that's about the highest compliment I can bestow upon any creative work.
Digger of Unnecessarily Convoluted Tunnels. Heh.
I loved that comic; it may've reached it's intended conclusion, but it was still a gut punch when it ended. Still stings a to this day that we'll never see more of the setting or characters.

Buck: "Hello? No... no, I can't really talk right now... yeah, no, I'm trying to recover a dead sloth now, they're following me! I know! They think I'm crazy. Okay... we're going into the Chasm of Death, I'm gonna lose you, I love you too, alright, goodbye, goodbye, bye. - Okay, follow me!"
Lichen is the hardest kind of person to get a read on. He's both legitimately knowledgeable, and probably a little bit crazy, and you can't tell what the ratio is.
I love this weird little potato. Everything he says causes my brain to reboot
This is too much character development
he's gonna fuckin die

that inset panel. They have left the safety of the tree cover. Be very careful
